3 Years After Covid Started, Why Don’t We Have Answers About The Likely Lab Leak?

Why don’t we know the origins of Covid-19? It’s been nearly three years, and even after scientists have analyzed millions of virus sequences, have taken samples of thousands of animals, including hundreds from the Wuhan market where the virus first is alleged to have broken out, we still haven’t discovered the proximal cause of the pandemic. It is strange, to say the least.

In November of 2002, a SARS outbreak erupted among restaurant workers handling live animals in a  “wet market” located in Shenzhen, China. Not long after the initial outbreak, the disease went international. By May 2003, Chinese researchers found a virus in palm civet cats at the market that was nearly identical to the pandemic virus. This virus, SARS-CoV, fizzled out after causing 8,000 cases resulting in 800 deaths worldwide. But the virus currently in question is believed to have caused nearly 1 billion cases and possibly 20 million excess deaths, and we are still searching for answers. Why?

What if the proximal origin of the current pandemic is a U.S. government-funded, lab-engineered virus that leaked from the Wuhan laboratory? What if powerful interests would rather you not find out? It may sound conspiratorial, but we should consider the science.

The closest overall genetic match to SARS-CoV-2 is a bat coronavirus named RaTG13. But this virus is not a close enough genetic match to have morphed into SARS-CoV-2, especially given that RaTG13 cannot infect human cells. Curiously, the part of the SARS-CoV-2 spike that binds to human cells (i.e., the receptor-binding domain or RBD) is nearly identical to the RBD in a pangolin coronavirus spike. Stranger still is that a virus that supposedly just emerged from an animal was so optimized for human infection

Should we be alarmed that publication of this important information was suspiciously stifled for over one year, corresponding to when Anthony Fauci reluctantly admitted that a “lab leak” was possible?

Another anomaly of the SARS-CoV-2 spike is the presence of the all-important “furin cleavage site” (FCS) that is missing in all known close relatives.

Due to similar designs, some hypothesized origins of the FCS in SARS-CoV-2 include a distantly related feline coronavirus or an important protein in human lungs called ENac-alpha. Feline coronaviruses have so little in common with SARS-CoV-2 that it’s a huge stretch to imagine natural recombination between these viruses occurring at all, especially given that only the tiny FCS fragment would have been acquired. With regard to ENac-alpha, it’s been suggested that an FCS found in the human lungs “might be a rational, if not obvious” choice for insertion into a hybrid virus.

There are published  “proof of concept” examples of this type of work in which an FCS from one virus was transplanted into another, resulting in demonstrable “gain of function.” Meanwhile, the “natural origin” position suggests that bat and pangolin coronaviruses naturally co-mingled, their hybrid progeny somehow picked up an FCS, possibly by co-mingling with a distantly related cat coronavirus, then the hybrid virus burst into the world from a Wuhan market just a few miles from a virology lab that recently requested funding to make hybrid coronaviruses. Considering that the market had no record of selling either bats or pangolins in 2019, the natural origin scenario requires a lot of mental gymnastics.

The blueprint for creating hybrid coronaviruses is well documented. For example, a 2018 DARPA grant made by EcoHealth Alliance proposed to create a “complete inventory” of bat coronaviruses from several bat caves in China. Their plan was to add spike proteins from these novel viruses to a weakly infectious bat virus core and test the lethality of the hybrid viruses in  “humanized” mice. Although the grant was not funded, there is no doubt that the authors already had enough “proof of concept” data at the Wuhan lab to justify submitting such a large grant.

Recently, Boston University researchers added Omicron variant spikes to an original SARS-CoV-2 variant core, resulting in a hybrid virus that was more lethal to mice than Omicron. Regardless of whether these studies are referred to as “gain of function” research, the bottom line is that these labs created hybrid viruses that do not exist in nature, and there was no way of knowing the ramifications of doing so beforehand.

One method for creating these hybrids utilizes enzymes called “endonucleases,” such as BsmBI, to cut the large coronavirus genome at specific locations into smaller pieces; the genome pieces can then be swapped between different viruses and inserted into human cells to produce infectious hybrid viruses.

Researchers can easily add cut sites at precise locations; Dr. R.S. Baric, at the center of much of this controversy, even developed a methodology referred to as “no-see-um” to give researchers the option of disguising these genetic engineering fingerprints. Given all the other circumstances suggesting laboratory engineering, it’s not surprising that the pattern of BsmBI and various other cut sites make the SARS-CoV-2 genome “more like the product of synthetic genome assembly than natural evolution.”

Anomalies in the FCS provide compelling evidence that it was deliberately added. It’s statistically unlikely that nature randomly added a complete FCS into a bat/pangolin hybrid virus, enabling it to turn into SARS-CoV-2. The short genetic sequence encoding the FCS in the original SARS-CoV-2 strain is as follows: CCU CGG CGG GCA CGU. Each set of three-letter code dictates the specific amino acid to be incorporated.

The CGG triplet, encoding the amino acid arginine, is extremely rare in the genome of SARS-CoV-2. For example, these are the only two CGGs among the more than 3,800 “letters” encoding the spike protein, and they happen to be right next to each other resulting in the insertion of two key arginines in the FCS; in fact, this is the only place CGG occurs in tandem in the entire 30,000 letter virus genome. Not that additional circumstance is needed to highlight the CGG anomaly, but the CGG triplet is the preferred code used by genetic engineers to produce proteins containing arginine in human cells. In this case, it appears the preferred code was used to produce virus spike proteins with an arginine-rich FCS, knowing that this would increase infectivity.

From the beginning, the highest levels of the U.S. and Chinese bureaucracies squashed the “lab leak” hypothesis without any scientific debate. In fact, as Chinese officials laid down a smoke screen of nonsense blaming the pandemic on imported frozen fish, vital data was removed from public scrutiny by Chinese scientists, strongly suggesting an early attempt at a coverup.

With censorship as the official position, the full force of Big Tech and intellectually lazy intimidation tactics were deployed; anyone that mentioned “lab leak” must be racist.
Thankfully, that failed as more supporting data emerged to embolden truth seekers.

The latest tactic is to give the illusion of careful analysis, followed by a forceful rebuke of inconvenient data as “poppycock dressed up as science.” This dismissive tactic is also used by nervous criminal defense lawyers, but the evidence for the “lab leak” has reached critical mass, and, taken together, paints a convincing picture of guilt; at the very least, the jury now recognizes the defense lawyer’s ruse. Fauci, his former boss Francis Collins, and everyone else who attempted to squash discussion of the “lab leak” are on the wrong side of history.

To quote Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist from Rutgers, with respect to the mounting evidence supporting the “lab leak,” “the list of coincidences is getting verrrrrrrrrrry [sic] long.”

Left COVID-Shamed Donald Trump After Testing Positive for Chinese Virus

Left COVID-Shamed Donald Trump After Testing Positive for Chinese Virus

Quadruple-vaccinated President Joe Biden tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus a day after being seen maskless at a Massachusetts event, and it remains to be seen if leftist media outlets will be as critical of him as they were of former President Donald Trump when he contracted the virus in 2020.

At least one outlet already seems to be taking a different approach. When it was announced Thursday that Biden — who falsely stated a year ago Thursday that vaccinated individuals could not contract the virus — came down with the Wuhan-originated disease, Los Angeles Times staff writer Eli Stokols scribed:

Biden’s positive test is also a reminder of how difficult it can be to eliminate the potential for infection, even for someone as protected as the president. Everyone who travels or meets with Biden must be tested beforehand, according to the White House, and masks are required in the building.

Of note, Biden was spotted maskless during his Somerville, Massachusetts, trip Wednesday, where he gave on climate change. He also shook hands with officials and spectators after the event.

Conversely, after then-President Trump announced he had tested positive on October 2, 2020, the Los Angeles Times Editorial Board published an article the same day that wished him well but also asserted his contraction of the virus was his fault:

His infection and hospitalization represent another crisis for a nation reeling from a year that almost seems apocalyptic. And this one is fully of Trump’s own making, endangering not only himself, his family and security detail, but the stability of the country by throwing the executive branch into chaos.

Apparently, Trump managed to even convince himself that the coronavirus was no big deal — rarely wearing a face mask in public and shamefully mocking those who do. During the first presidential debate on Tuesday, Trump derided Biden for wearing “the biggest mask I’ve ever seen” and hinting that it made him look like a scared old man. Heedless and, in retrospect, ironic.

Late last year, after Trump’s former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows claimed in his book that Trump both tested negative and positive for the virus three days before his September 29, 2020, debate with Biden — which Trump denies — the Washington Post dubbed the 45th president “reckless.”

Actress Bette Midler went as far as to say Trump was attempting to murder Joe Biden following Meadows’ claim, dubbing him “the devil.”

“#DonaldTrump should be arrested for attempted murder,” she wrote. “He tried to infect & kill #JoeBiden at the debate; by turning up too late to be tested, knowing full well he was positive; then screeched, sputtered, spit, and foamed at the mouth, hoping to infect Joe. He IS the devil.”

Canadian Court Rules it Was Legal To Deny Unvaccinated Person Organ Transplant

A judge in the Canadian province of Alberta has ruled that a woman did not have her rights violated when she was denied an organ transplant due to not being vaccinated against the Wuhan coronavirus.

Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Paul Belzil ruled that Edmonton, Alberta woman Annette Lewis had not had her fundamental character of Rights and Freedoms rights violated by being denied an organ transplant over her vaccination status.

According to Justice Belzil, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has no bearing on the treatment decisions of doctors for organ transplants, despite the transplant being diagnosed by medical professionals as the only way for Ms Lewis to survive a progressive disease she suffers from, broadcaster CBC reports.

Doctors diagnosed Lewish with her disease in 2018 and in 2020 urged her to receive various vaccinations, which she agreed to, however, she did not agree to receive the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine and was told without the vaccine she would not receive her potentially life-saving transplant.

“Taking this vaccine offends my conscience,” Lewis said an a sworn affidavit and added, “I ought to have the choice about what goes into my body and a life-saving treatment cannot be denied to me because I chose not to take an experimental treatment for a condition — COVID-19 — which I do not have and which I may never have.”

While Justice Bezil agreed that Lewis was the sole arbiter of what she put into her own body, he claimed that no one has an inherent right to an organ transplant.

“The proposition that treating physicians exercising clinical judgment would be subject to the charter would result in medical chaos with patients seeking endless judicial review of clinical treatment decisions,” he added.

The court ruling is not the first involving the rights of unvaccinated people in Canada in recent months. Last December, a father had his visitation rights with his daughter suspended in the French-speaking province of Quebec after a judge ruled he could not see his daughter due to his vaccination status.

“It would normally have been in the best interests of the child to have contact with his father, but not in his best interest to have contact with him if he is not vaccinated and is opposed to sanitary measures in the current epidemiological context,” Superior Court Judge Jean-Sébastien Vaillancourt said in his ruling.

In February Court of Queen’s Bench Judge Nathalie Godbout issued a similar ruling temporarily denying a father custody of his three children because he was also unvaccinated.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has defended vaccine mandates and other restrictive measures, arguing in an interview last month, “It was their choice and nobody ever was going to force anyone into doing something they don’t want to do.”

“But there are consequences when you don’t. You cannot choose to put at risk your co-workers. You cannot choose to put at risk the people sitting beside you on an aeroplane,” he added.

NFL Lifts All Covid Restrictions After Using Them To Harass Aaron Rodgers And Others

NFL Lifts All Covid Restrictions After Using Them To Harass Aaron Rodgers And Others

The National Football League (NFL) announced Thursday players and staff would no longer be required to follow dystopian procedures implemented to track and isolate the novel Wuhan coronavirus.

In a memo sent to all 32 teams, the league said it came to an agreement with the NFL Players Association to “suspend all aspects of the joint COVID-19 Protocols, effective immediately.”

“Should there be a reason to impose aspects of the Protocols or to take other measures, we will work closely with clubs, the NFLPA and our respective experts, and local, state and federal public health officials to continue to safeguard the health of the NFL community,” the league added.

The drop of procedures comes as U.S. cases and hospitalizations plummet from their fifth wave peak of more than 1.4 million new cases a day and a seven-day average of more than 150,000 hospitalizations in January. The U.S. reported just more than 58,000 new cases and a daily average of just more than 8,700 in ICUs on March 2, according to The New York Times, as the nation finally transitions into a state living with the virus as opposed to trying to eliminate the airborne pathogen.

Players who didn’t follow the Covid regimen prescribed by government officials found themselves mired in faux scandal. Last fall, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers tested positive for the coronavirus after he remained unvaccinated to the ire of left-wing football fans.

Meanwhile fans, including prominent politicians ordering citizens to adhere to mask mandates, had already dropped compliance with mass Covid protocols. Last month, thousands of fans packed California’s SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the Super Bowl, skirting mask rules despite local mandates still in place.

L.A.’s Democrat Mayor Eric Garcetti was among them even after catching flak for flouting his city’s mask mandate at the same stadium days earlier in a picture with former Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

Garcetti excused himself for the infraction, claiming he was “holding his breath,” before he was caught maskless again at the Super Bowl.

Canadian Veteran To March Over 2,700 miles in Support of Freedom Convoy

Canadian Veteran To March Over 2,700 miles in Support of Freedom Convoy

Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) veteran James Topp has begun a gruelling march from Vancouver to Ottawa in support of Freedom Convoy protestors against Wuhan coronavirus restrictions and mandates.

Topp began his journey from Vancouver on Sunday and is looking to walk a distance of 4,395 kilometres/2,731 miles across a large portion of Canada to reach Ottawa and is joined by a small group of others.

A 28-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, Topp released a mission statement on his website “Canada Marches” saying, “We rise to serve Canadians with honesty, respect and compassion, for the purpose of reuniting our people. We do this, with the intention of ensuring our government upholds the laws that support Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.”

According to a report from broadcaster CBC, Warrant Officer Topp was under investigation by the Canadian Armed Forces over his planned march. Several others have also allegedly been placed under investigation including two active-duty members of the elite counter-terrorism force JTF2.

The marchers are expected to walk around 25 miles per day and claim that the entire journey could take between three to four months to complete.

Topp spoke to supporters in Vancouver saying, “Determination, dedication, perseverance. The sounds of our footsteps are going to carry on in front of us. They are going to hear our feet out east.”

The veteran acknowledged that he was inspired by Canadian Terry Fox, who after losing his right leg to cancer in 1977 at age 18, attempted to cross Canada on foot to raise money for cancer research, in what became known as the Marathon of Hope.

Fox was taken ill after cancer returned to his lungs on September 1st, 1980 after running for 5,373 kilometres/3,338 miles. He died several months later on June 28th 1981.

A statue of Terry Fox in Ottawa was involved in the early days of the Freedom Convoy protests after some claimed protestors had defaced the statue after placing a sign stating “Mandate Freedom” and a Canadian flag on the statue.

Topp’s long march across Canada comes as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau maintains his powers under the Emergencies Act, despite border blockades having ended before he invoked the act and the Ottawa protest being cleared last weekend.

A vote in the House of Commons on Monday evening saw members of Trudeau’s Liberals and the far-left New Democrats (NDP) pass a motion to approve of the use of the act, while the Conservatives and the separatist Bloc Quebecois opposed the invocation of the act.

Tyranny: Canadian Parliament Votes for Emergencies Act Motion

Tyranny: Canadian Parliament Votes for Emergencies Act Motion

The Canadian Parliament voted Monday night to approve Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s motion to invoke the Emergencies Act by a vote of 185 for and 151 against.

Trudeau invoked the Act, an unprecedented move, last week claiming it necessary to dispel peaceful protests linked to the Freedom Convoy movement, which is demanding an end to civil rights violations by the Trudeau government allegedly necessary to fight the Chinese coronavirus. At press time on Monday, no active Freedom Convoy protests exist anywhere in Canada.

The motion to uphold the invocation of emergency powers by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau passed in a vote in the Canadian House of Commons on Monday, with the Liberal Party and the NDP and other allies garnering 181 votes for the motion.

The motion was opposed by the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) and the separatist Bloc Quebecois (BQ) and their allies, who voted against it with 151 votes, broadcaster CBC reports.

The passing of the measure in the House of Commons is the first step toward confirming the use of the act, which allows the government significant powers.

The Emergencies Act was invoked for the first time in Canadian history to halt Freedom Convoy protests across the country, which included blockades of border crossings in Ontario, Manitoba, and Alberta, although all of the border blockades ended before the Emergencies Act was formally invoked last week.

Instead, the act was largely used to clear protests in Canada’s capital Ottawa over the weekend and was used to freeze the bank accounts of those linked to the protest. It was also used to force tow truck companies to remove trucks in Ottawa occupying the area around the parliament buildings after the government had trouble hiring tow truckers previously, as many allegedly refused.

Earlier in the day on Monday, Prime Minister Trudeau defended his continued use of the Emergencies Act, despite the fact all of the protests had been cleared or had ended prior to its invocation.

“This state of emergency is not over. There continue to be real concerns about the coming days,” Trudeau said and added, “People [are] out there indicating that they are ready to blockade, to continue their illegal occupations to disrupt Canadians’ lives. We feel that this measure needs to remain in place.”

“Invoking the Emergencies Act has been necessary. Law enforcement agencies relied on it to set up secured areas in downtown Ottawa and at border crossings. It prevented foreign money from continuing to fund illegal blockades, and it’s making sure our borders remain open. It has been the responsible thing to do,” he said.

The invocation of the Emergencies Act has been widely criticised by civil liberties groups, such as the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) and the Ontario Civil Liberties Association (OCLA).

“The federal government has not met the threshold necessary to invoke the Emergencies Act. This law creates a high and clear standard for good reason: the Act allows the government to bypass ordinary democratic processes. This standard has not been met,” the CCLA said in a statement last week.

“Governments regularly deal with difficult situations, and do so using powers granted to them by democratically elected representatives. Emergency legislation should not be normalized. It threatens our democracy and our civil liberties,” the CCLA noted.

The Alberta government, led by conservative Premier Jason Kenney, has also filed a court case against the use of the Emergencies Act. Kenney argued that the measures were “disproportionate” and “violated natural justice.”

In order for the act to be fully passed, it must also face a vote in the Canadian Senate, according to the text of the act. A debate in the Canadian Senate is expected to begin on Tuesday morning, the Toronto Star newspaper reports.

Canadian Premiers and American Governors Demand End to Trucker Vaccine Mandates

Canadian Premiers and American Governors Demand End to Trucker Vaccine Mandates

Two Canadian provincial leaders and 16 American state governors signed a letter on Wednesday calling on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and American President Joe Biden to end Wuhan coronavirus vaccine mandates for cross-border truckers.

The letter – signed by Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Idaho Governor Brad Little, Alaska Governor Kay Ivey and others – calls on the Canadian federal government and the U.S. federal government to end the vaccine mandates.

“We are writing to request that you immediately reinstate the vaccine and quarantine exemptions available to cross-border truck drivers. We understand the vital importance of vaccines in the fight against COVID-19 and continue to encourage eligible individuals to get vaccinated,” the letter states.

The signatories of the letter state that the vaccine mandates have “demonstrably negative impacts on the North American supply chain, cost of living, and access to essential products,” and added, “Transportation associations have informed us that the lack of exemptions will force thousands of drivers out of the trucking industry, which is already facing a significant workforce shortage.”

The letter makes no mention of the Freedom Convoy trucker blockades that took place along the Canadian border with the United States in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario in recent weeks, including the blocking of the Ambassador Bridge, the largest source of inter-border trade between Canada and the U.S.

Over the last week, all of the border blockades have ended, either due to police action, as was the case in Windsor, Ontario, or from Freedom Convoy blockaders leaving areas of their own accord.

The last blockade was lifted this week at the border in the Manitoba town of Emerson after protestors negotiated a deal with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) that included an agreement that none of the protestors at the border would be arrested or charged.

In Canada’s capital, Ottawa, protests have not ended and many Freedom Convoy truckers and allies remain encamped in the city’s downtown near the Canadian parliament.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act this week for the first time in Canadian history, giving his government sweeping new powers to end the protests, including the freezing of banks accounts of those who have supported the protestors and donated to fundraisers.

On Thursday, the Canadian Bankers Association reported that the RCMP had alerted banks as to a list of names associated with the Freedom Convoy protests and some have already claimed that their accounts have been frozen.

‘I’m Proud of the Truckers’ Says Canadian Conservative Leadership Candidate

‘I’m Proud of the Truckers’ Says Canadian Conservative Leadership Candidate

Canadian Conservative Party (CPC) MP and leadership candidate Pierre Poilievre has slammed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and expressed support for the Freedom Convoy anti-coronavirus restriction protestors.

Poilievre made his comments during an interview with Canadian journalist Anthony Furey saying, “I’m proud of the truckers and I stand with them,” and added: “They have reached a breaking point after two years of massive government overreach of a prime minister who insults and degrades anyone who disagrees with his heavy-handed approach.”

“But let’s be honest, if Canadians are being inconvenienced, or in any way suffering from these protests, it is because Justin Trudeau made these protests happen and his intransigence is keeping the protests going,” he said, the National Post reports.

Poilievre, who currently serves as Shadow Minister for Finance of Canada, accused Prime Minister Trudeau of trying to divide Canadians on the issue of vaccines and of demonizing the unvaccinated in Canada.

Previously, Trudeau has questioned why Canadians should “tolerate” unvaccinated fellow citizens and has labelled the Freedom Convoy protestors in Ottawa and elsewhere a “fringe minority” with “unacceptable views. ”

“They don’t believe in science/progress and are very often misogynistic and racist. It’s a very small group of people, but that doesn’t shy away from the fact that they take up some space,” Trudeau said previously, conintuing: “This leads us, as a leader and as a country, to make a choice: Do we tolerate these people?”

“But now it’s blown up in his face,” Poilievre said. “So he’s gotten himself into an impossible political situation. And unfortunately, the rest of the country is held hostage by his unwillingness to do the right thing, admit he was wrong, and lift these mandates.”

Poilievre announced his intention to run for the leadership of the CPC following the ousting of former leader Erin O’Toole in a shock vote by CPC MPs during the first week of the Freedom Convoy protests.

CPC Interim leader Candice Bergen has also expressed her support for the Freedom Convoy protestors and slammed Prime Minister Trudeau earlier this week in the Hous of Commons, saying: “I look at our country Mr Speaker, and I’ve never seen it as divided as it is now under this prime minister.”

“Does he regret calling people names who didn’t take the vaccine?” Bergen asked.

“Does he regret calling people misogynist and racist and just, escalating and poking sticks at them and being so divisive to individual Canadians that he might not disagree with, that he might have thought were wrong?”

Just days later on Thursday, Bergen stated that while she agreed with the sentiment of the protestors, she called on them to abandon the protests across the country and return home.

“The time has come for you to take down the barricades, stop the disruptive action and come together,” she said, adding: “The economy you want to see reopened is hurting. You protested because you love your country and you want your freedoms back. That message has been heard.”
