Trump Campaign: 11 Questions The Media Must Ask Joe Biden About Hunter Biden ‘Selling Access’

Tim Murtaugh, the spokesperson for President Donald Trump’s campaign, said Sunday that the news media should ask Democratic rival Joe Biden “red, flashing, glaring” questions about allegations about his son, Hunter Biden, “selling access.”

Murtaugh noted that the Biden campaign had not denied the substance of reports that Hunter Biden had arranged meetings between his business partners in Ukraine and China and with then-Vice President Biden.

The reports have been based on emails purportedly discovered on a laptop abandoned at a repair shop in Delaware, and subsequently reported by the New York Post and others; and emails shared independently with Breitbart News by one of Hunter Biden’s former partners.

Biden is reported to have met with an adviser to the corrupt Ukrainian energy company, Burisma; and with executives from the China Entrepreneur Club (CEC), including Chinese billionaires and Chinese Communist Party loyalists.

The Biden campaign “does not dispute the authenticity of these emails nor do they dispute that the laptops these emails came from” belonged to Hunter Biden, Murtaugh said.
He argued that the emails showed that Joe Biden lied when he said: “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

Murtaugh added that Biden had not denied any of the allegations.

“The lone exception is to say that no such meeting [with Burisma] appeared on Joe Biden’s official schedule at the time. This explanation is a joke, and it’s embarrassing to the Biden campaign that this is the best they can do.”

He noted that the Biden campaign had told Politico that it could not rule out that such a meeting might have taken place. And he noted a report in Fox News about emails that discussed 10% of one deal being set aside for someone called the “big guy.”
Murtaugh also noted that the one time a mainstream media reporter asked Biden about the allegations, Biden attacked him.

Nevertheless, Murtaugh argued, journalists covering the Biden campaign had a duty to ask him the following questions:

  1. Did Hunter drop off this laptop at that repair show in Delaware?
  2. Does the laptop belong to Hunter Biden?
  3. Why would a grand jury subpoena the laptop [which was seized by the FBI for a grand jury]?
  4. Are the emails authentic?
  5. Have you ever met any of Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners?
  6. What did you talk about with Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s business partner and fellow Bursima board member, when you played golf [as captured in a photo revealed last year]?
  7. Did you meet with Vadym Pozharskyi, the Bursima executive, in that meeting [in 2015], as described in the emails?
  8. Can you explain the 10% stake n the Chinese energy company described as being specially for you, as worked out by Hunter and his business partners?
  9. Is Hunter Biden holding money for you?
  10. Do you make Hunter give him half of his income [as alleged by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, based on a text message purportedly found on the laptop]?
  11. Are you, as a candidate for President of the United States, compromised by the Chinese?

Murtaugh added that efforts by Facebook and Twitter, the “Silicon Valley mafia,” to “squelch” the story had “backfired on them, because it made it a much bigger story.”

He said that if the moderator in the third debate did not bring up the issue, President Trump would likely do so.

Joe Biden Lashes Out at CBS Reporter for Asking About Hunter Biden Emails: ‘I Have No Response’

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden refused to explicitly respond to the bombshell emails obtained by the New York Post, alleging a direct link between the then-vice president and his son Hunter’s lucrative business dealings with Ukrainian gas conglomerate Burisma.

When Biden was leaving Michigan Friday night, CBS Reporter Bo Erickson asked him about the story claiming Hunter introduced Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma, to then-VP Biden – who was in charge of U.S. policy towards Ukraine – in 2015.

Hunter was also serving on the board of Burisma when the alleged meeting took place, and he was getting paid tens of thousands of dollars each month.

“I know you’d ask it. I have no response. It’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Biden replied, sounding annoyed.

CBS Reporters Ed O’Keefe and Paula Reid came out in defense of their colleague for questioning the Democrat presidential nominee, who rarely speaks to the press.

Although the Biden campaign has denied that the former VP ever met Pozharskyi officially, it has not denied ever meeting the man.

“We have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place,” Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement, Politico reported Wednesday.

“Biden’s campaign would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with Pozharskyi, which wouldn’t appear on Biden’s official schedule,” Politico added.

Senior Biden advisers, including Michael Carpenter and Amos Hochstein, who served the former VP at the time of the meeting, also said that Biden might have met the Burisma executive in an unofficial capacity.

Hunter’s work for Burisma between April 2014 and April 2019, while his father served as vice president, raised eyebrows among some Obama-era officials who saw it as a conflict of interest.

The VP’s son serving on the Burisma board was at the center of the Democrat efforts to remove U.S. President Donald Trump from office during the impeachment proceedings.

Former VP Biden has claimed he never spoke to Hunter about his business dealings overseas.

Former VP Biden has also denied any Burisma-related conflict of interest or wrongdoing by him or his son despite members of the Obama administration warning that it looked terrible that Hunter was working at a Ukrainian company that U.S. officials believed to be corrupt.

In an ABC News interview, Hunter himself admitted that his father’s political position helped him secure the lucrative appointment to Burisma’s board of directors.

The senior Biden boasted in 2018 about threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees to Ukraine as VP in 2016 if the Eastern European country did not fire its top prosecutor, who wanted to investigate the owner of Burisma for corruption.

Big Tech, namely Facebook, Twitter, and Google, have tried to censor the New York Post story.

Emails: Burisma Adviser Told Hunter Biden His ‘Ultimate Purpose’ Was to ‘Close Down’ Investigations

An adviser to the Ukrainian energy company Burisma suggested in an email in 2015 that Hunter Biden was expected to provide “deliverables” for the company, including the “ultimate purpose” of stopping “cases/pursuits into the company’s founder.

The email, contained in a batch published by Ken LaCorte at the Media Action Network, is reportedly from the same laptop that has been the source for a recent series of articles in the New York Post purportedly about Hunter Biden’s business dealings. The authenticity of the emails has not been verified.

The batch includes an email in November 2015 from Burisma adviser Vadim Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden’s business partners (on which Hunter Biden was cc’ed), outlining a set of “deliverables.”

The emails make clear that Biden and his partners were expected to arrange meetings with U.S. and Ukrainian officials with the goal of “improving Nikolay’s case and his situation in Ukraine.”

“Nikolay” appears to refer to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, according to the Post.

Pozharskyi wrote that the “list of deliverables” included “the ultimate purpose” of stopping “cases/pursuits against Nikolay”:

My only concern is focus to be on the same page re our final goals. With this in mind, I would like to formulate a list of deliverables, including, but not limited to: a concrete course of actions, uncle. meetings/communications resulting in high-ranking US officials in Ukraine (US Ambassador) and in US publicly or in private communication/comment expressing their “positive opinion” and support of Nikolay/Burisma to the highest level of decision makers here in Ukraine :President of Ukraine, president Chief of staff, Prosecutor General, etc

The scope of work should also include organization of a visit of widely recognized and influential current and/or former US policy-makers to Ukraine in November aiming to conduct meetings with and bring positive signal/message and support on Nikolay’s issue to the Ukrainian top officials above with the ultimate purpose to close down for   any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine.

Other emails in the trove show a keen awareness of Hunter Biden’s relationship to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, who was leading U.S. diplomacy with regard to Ukraine.

In May 2014, Pozharksyi wrote to Hunter Biden and Archer explaining that Burisma was under pressure from the Ukrainian government. He claimed that government officials, seeking cash, had decided to pressure the company by launching investigations that could result in the company losing its energy licenses or its business partners.

He added:”We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions”.

Another May 2014 email from Heather King, a partner at the Boies, Schiller & Flexner law firm, to Pozharskyi — on which Hunter Biden and Archer were cc’ed — proposed creating a “bullet-proof vest” for Burisma, including relationships with U.S. government officials.

Another email, dated May 13, 2014, reported that Vice President Biden’s counsel called Hunter Biden’s business partners to ask that they tell Burisma to take down a photograph of Devon Hunter and Joe Biden that appeared on Burisma’s website.

That was the same day reporters asked the White House and State Department about Hunter Biden’s relationship with Burisma. (Joe Biden has claimed that he was not informed about potential conflicts of interest posed by his son’s work for Burisma.)

In 2018, former Vice President Joe Biden boasted that he had threatened Ukraine with the loss of $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees — in the middle of a war with Russia — if the country did not fire its top prosecutor, which it then did.

Former Vice President Biden has also denied having anything to do with his son’s overseas business interests, but the Post revealed that Hunter Biden had arranged a meeting between his father and Pozharskyi in 2015.

Breitbart News reached out to Pozharskyi for comment via email, but received no response.

Breaking: New Set of Hunter Biden Emails Released

A fresh set of leaked emails has been released Thursday, allegedly recovered from a laptop Hunter Biden dropped off for repair but never picked up. The New York Post took a lot of heat when they publicly revealed the first set on Wednesday. The fact checkers are going frantic but they don’t have a lot of weight in their arguments when The Post obviously has pictures of a coke crazed Biden and a treasure trove of highly suspicious emails.

Hunter Biden hammered two days in a row

There’s a lot of screaming coming up out of Joe Biden’s basement this week. Joe isn’t happy that his bad seed offspring is ruining any chance Kamala Harris has of being president. The latest batch of leaked messages shows Hunter on the prowl for something to pay for his habit. His monkey chow was costing him a fortune so he tried to make a deal with China. He made sure to let the “major Chinese firm” Shanghai conglomerate China Energy Co. know he was looking for deals “interesting for me and my family,” an allegedly veiled reference to his father Joe Biden, who was serving as vice president at the time.

There was obviously some kind of quid pro quo but the details aren’t out yet. In May of 2017 under the subject line “Expectations,” one thread spelled out details of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business venture. Hunter was identified as the “chair/vice chair depending on agreement with CEFC.” His pay was “850” and he “has some office expectations he will elaborate.” Those “expectations” allegedly included access to his father on demand. That seems to have quite a bit of substance when you consider what the Post reported Wednesday.

The day before, The Post turned the nation’s capitol upside down by publishing “other emails that showed Joe Biden lied when he said he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.” In that batch, an adviser to the Burisma energy company in the Ukraine, Vadym Pozharskyi, thanked Hunter for “an opportunity to meet your father.”

Eighty percent split four ways

The Chinese company Hunter Biden was cobbling together entered into a “provisional agreement” where 80 percent of the “equity” would be “shared equally among four people.” Biden and three of his buddies, Probably including Devon Archer and Chris Heinz.

An email posted by James Gilliar with J2cR consulting notes, “I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is shortfalls?” Zang would be Zang Jian Jun who was the former executive director of CEFC before they went bankrupt. Also in 2017, Hunter “reportedly discussed a deal with Ye Jianming, a since-vanished chairman of CEFC.”

Hunter Biden wasn’t shy about insisting on heavy coin for not a lot of work, he made it crystal clear his real value had nothing to do with what he knew but who he knew. “Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn [sic] the equity and profits of the JV’s [Joint Venture’s] investments.”

Donald Trump: ‘The Bidens Got Rich While Americans Got Robbed’

President Donald Trump reacted Wednesday at a campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa, to new evidence showing that former Vice President Joe Biden met with foreign interests represented by his son Hunter Biden.

“The Bidens got rich while Americans got robbed,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa.

The president cited the bombshell New York Post story uncovering emails sent from Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Ukrainian energy company Burisma, to Hunter Biden, thanking him for helping arrange a meeting with his father.

Hunter Biden received between $50,000 and $83,000 a month from Burisma to sit on the board.

“The Biden family treated the vice presidency as a for-profit corporation flying around the globe collecting millions of dollars from China and Ukraine and Russia and other countries,” Trump said.

The president also referred to a Senate report revealing that the former Moscow mayor’s wife, Yelena Baturina, wrote a check to Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca Thornton, LLC for $3.5 million in 2014.

“The wife of the mayor of Moscow wrote Hunter a check for 3.5 million dollars in cash while his father gave away the store to Russia, including Crimea – Remember Crimea?” Trump asked, referring to former President Barack Obama’s administration allowing Russian President Vladimir Putin to annex Crimea in 2014.

Trump used the report to condemn “swamp” politicians like Biden, who spent 47 years in Washington.

“Politicians like Joe Biden keep bleeding this country dry,” Trump said.

He also referred to reports that Joe Biden’s brother James Biden’s construction firm received a contract worth more than a billion dollars to build houses in Iraq.

“Take a look at the whole family. It’s a corrupt family,” Trump said. “Joe Biden personifies the selfish and corrupt globalist who got rich and powerful at your expense.”
