New Trump Special Counsel Is A ‘Left Wing Hatchet Man’

The newly appointed special counsel to oversee probes related to former President Donald Trump is a “left wing hatchet man” in pursuit of a “witch hunt,” according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s pick for the role is Jack Smith, a registered independent and a veteran federal prosecutor who most recently served as the chief prosecutor of the special court in The Hague.

Coming days after Trump officially declared his 2024 presidential candidacy, the appointment put Smith in charge of two investigations: one involving Trump’s handling of classified materials in Mar-a-Lago, and another on the alleged interference of the transition of power following the 2020 presidential election and the certification of electoral votes.

While proponents of the move have applauded Smith’s appointment, pointing to his long career fighting corruption, Gingrich, an Epoch Times contributor, does not agree.

This guy is not an independent counsel. He’s a left wing hatchet man,” he said in an interview, describing Garland’s choice as “outrageous.”

I think the Justice Department figured out that when Trump announced for president that they couldn’t just continue the normal process, because they have always avoided prosecuting candidates,” he said.

“But what they’re doing is it absurd,” he added.

“Most Americans will rapidly figure out this is one more example of the kind of witch hunt that has been dealing with the whole process of the Trump candidacy, starting in 2015.”

Following Garland’s announcement, the White House denied foreknowledge, saying that the Department of Justice “makes decisions about its criminal investigation independently.”

While Smith, in a statement, pledged to carry out the investigations “independently and in the best traditions of the Department of Justice,” Gingrich remains skeptical, citing Smith’s record working under the Obama administration.

During the five years serving as the Justice Department’s public integrity chief from 2010, Smith oversaw the conviction of former Virginia Governor, Republican Bob McDonnell, on bribery and extortion charges. The Supreme Court later unanimously reversed the conviction, ruling that the government’s “boundless interpretation of the federal bribery statute” was unconstitutional.

The former speaker called Smith’s impartiality into question, citing his involvement in what Gingrich called the IRS scandal. The House Oversight Committee in 2014 found Smith to be responsible for arranging a meeting with an official in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to scrutinize nonprofits’ political activities. This meeting would set in motion the IRS’s campaign targeting Tea Party groups, which later resulted in a public apology from the agency and a $3.5 million Justice Department settlement for two lawsuits.

Selective Prosecution

Gingrich also pointed to the absence of similar treatment to Democrat politicians, such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who used a private email server for government business, and the president’s son Hunter Biden, whose foreign business dealings are set to be a top focus of a new Republican House from January.

“I think that it is strange that they can find one more excuse to go after Donald Trump even though he keeps getting found innocent, but neither Hillary Clinton nor Hunter Biden have gotten independent counsel, and it tells you how corrupted the system is,” Gingrich said.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), who is in line to chair the House Oversight Committee, said the committee Republicans have found business deals by the Biden family in more than 50 countries, including Russia and China which were often led by Hunter. They also allege that the elder Biden had knowledge of and was involved in some deals.

Tony Bobulinski, Hunter’s former business partner, has welcomed Republicans’ plan to probe the Biden family’s business operations in the hopes that it will prove the senior Biden played a part.

Trump’s Reaction

Gingrich was at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort when the news of the special counsel appointment came out. Trump, he said, seemed “very balanced,” “positive, and cheerful.”

“He knew what they were doing. He’s been through this now for six years,” he said.

Newt Gingrich Predicts DOJ Will Attempt to Indict President Trump Using a DC Grand Jury, “They are Playing for Keeps”

Newt Gingrich Predicts DOJ Will Attempt to Indict President Trump Using a DC Grand Jury, “They are Playing for Keeps”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich knows a thing or ten about the DC Deep State, and he appeared on television with Mark Levin to deliver a stark opinion about the current course of action by a comprehensively corrupt and politicized DOJ and FBI. {Direct Rumble Link}

From the perspective of Mr. Gingrich the institutional system within Washington DC is “playing for keeps” with “no interest in the law,” in their effort to keep Donald Trump from challenging the corrupt system now controlling the U.S. government.  Unfortunately, I agree with the prediction.  WATCH:

.

As soon as the Washington DC FBI sent agents to Florida, everything changed.  If you stand back and look at the national political events from an objective perspective, the connections between the executive agencies and the national political apparatus starts taking on a new clarity.

Additionally, when you overlay the tepid initial response from a newly managed Florida Governor, then look at his national rollout, you can see a specifically constructed series of events intended to give an alternative for the MAGA outrage vote.

The RNC club donors and deep political operatives have been in a full national push position for Ron DeSantis which was triggered immediately after the August 8th raid on Mar-a-Lago.

For five days immediately following the raid, DeSantis remained locked down and silent in a political bunker until he emerged on August 14th in Arizona, complete with a new press office and management team.  The timing, the series of events, the branding shift and the lack of response to the FBI raid is simply too coincidental to be happenstance.

This doesn’t mean Ron DeSantis himself knew of the raid in advance; but someone in the DC Republican advisory apparatus with influence over DeSantis did know it was coming.  He was prepared to go quiet. That explains the behaviors, and lack therein, that followed.

That entire sequence of events in Florida, including the branding and book drop by alternative media (Ben Shapiro) was a big tell; it indicated a closely coordinated RNC club operation.

In the days/weeks that followed, DeSantis has been very careful to avoid any mention of the Mar-a-Lago raid, or criticism of the DOJ, Main Justice, or FBI.   Instead, he has followed an easy route to punch soft targets like Anthony Fauci and the social inequity of Biden’s college tuition debt forgiveness.

With 94% of Ron DeSantis funding coming from multinational corporations, Wall Street hedge funds and billionaires, it is easy to see where the control mechanisms are as the club masters look to take down Trump and retain control of U.S. economic, monetary and trade policy.  [SEE HERE] Ultimately, that economic system is what the Wall Street donors are paying to control.  Remember, there are trillions at stake.

In hindsight we can see the GOPe path that led to the inflection point of the August 8th raid.   However, all of these players have one major hurdle. They have gone all in against Donald Trump, and he is the one-person strong enough, and skilled enough, to outwit them.

Additionally, President Donald J Trump has the law, the constitution, the truth, and ultimately the largest portion of the awakened nation on his side.

Yes, I agree with Newt Gingrich that they are “playing for keeps.”  However, when all of the enemy is finally visible, that’s when the righteousness of natural sunlight becomes the strongest weapon.

Donald Trump may have a lot of human flaws, but authenticity, honesty and a genuine desire to do the very best for our nation is not among them.

Donald Trumps is not a deceptive person.  He is one of the most transparent people that history could ever record.  When fighting against deception and skullduggery, that transparency transfers into honest, deliberate and authentic communication; ultimately becoming a natural weapon against his opposition.

I am reminded of President Trump at the 2016 RNC nomination convention, when he said nothing except to walk into the arena while Ted Cruz was imploding in a grand and visible display of his lack of character and political dishonesty.  Candidate Donald Trump didn’t say a word, his appearance was an atomic sledgehammer all by itself.

President Donald Trump has natural gifts and instincts that have transferred well into politics, despite criticism of his tendency to grant benefit of doubt.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but somehow, I sense that Ron DeSantis and Ted Cruz will soon have even more in common.

GOP Doing Its Best To Lose November Election

The GOP Is Doing Its Best To Lose The November Election

By: Vince Coyner

Last week, Tucker Carlson showcased the fact that the GOP is doing its best to lose November’s election.

He included a clip of Mitch McConnell admitting that the GOP would likely not take the Senate. McConnell and the rest of the leadership don’t want to win. Carlson rightly suggested that, if Republicans really wanted to win, they’d run on crime and immigration. While the economy is reportedly voters’ number one issue, it’s what goes on in their neighborhoods and on their streets that matters. If Americans don’t feel safe in their homes, walking down their streets, or sitting in drive-thru lines because they’re scared to go into a restaurant or store, nothing else matters…not the economy, abortion, gender rights, or Ukraine.

Republicans don’t care. They’re complaining about Biden’s spending, bemoaning government overreach, and sanctioning Putin. Those issues aren’t going to return the GOP to power, but Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Ronna McDaniel seem sanguine. Their lives don’t change if the GOP doesn’t take back Congress. They’ll still rule their little fiefdoms, still be invited to Georgetown cocktail parties to be feted by lobbyists and, of course, they’ll still be on Sunday morning shows to feign outrage for the latest Democrat policy.

For these grifters, the only difference between winning and losing in November is having to work for the American people…something they’re loathe to do.

But for the average American, the difference between winning and losing in November is literally life and death, lawlessness, or civil society.

The world wouldn’t change overnight on November 8, but what could happen is that the people who control the purse strings, who are supposed to make the laws, could change—just as in 1994.

That’s a big deal because the people running America today are the same people who have been running America’s biggest cities into the ground for decades. And all Americans, whether they live in San Francisco, Manhattan, or Kalamazoo, recognize that America’s coming apart at the seams. From not being able to go a day without seeing another video of a pack of thugs beating a cab driver, or attacking a restaurant employee, to watching a seemingly endless parade of homeless people punching random strangers, Americans are weary. From staring with disbelief as a gang of hoodlums ransacks a convenience store with impunity to watching video after video of people cussing at or otherwise attacking the police, Americans are watching the collapse of our society.

And this is the environment in which Mitch McConnell whines about the quality of the GOP candidates. The problem isn’t Dr. Oz, Eric Schmitt, or Herschel Walker; it’s that the GOP leadership that isn’t doing its job. Where is Newt Gingrich when we need him?

The reality is that this election has been tailor-made for the GOP, but that’s not the way it’s shaping up because McConnell, McCarthy, McDaniel, and their puppeteer, the hack Frank Luntz—who happens to be McCarthy’s roommate, landlord, or whatever—have decided they don’t want to save America. They’d rather sit back in the comfort of their minority position and pretend to care while enjoying the perks of “leadership.”

America needs warriors willing to brave the slings and arrows of the chattering classes, the leftist media, the Washington establishment and, most of all, the fascist NGO influencers who employ mobs on the streets to intimidate citizens and spineless CEOs and coerce into submission anyone who doesn’t agree with their agendas.

If the GOP really wanted to win in November, we’d see a new ad every single day showcasing the violence going on in our streets along with pictures of some thug who’s just assaulted a random senior as a George Soros-funded district attorney just released him without bail. We’d see videos of illegals storming the border. At the end of every single ad would be a simple tagline: “If you want more of this, please vote for my Democrat opponent…. If you want someone who’s going to do something about crime and the quality of American life, vote for me.”

It’s that simple. Democrats have caused myriad problems, but those issues can’t be addressed without majorities, and none of them will flip Congress in November. But images of blood in the streets will. A daily total of national Fentanyl deaths will. Images of career criminals released on bail after having pummeled some teenager into unconsciousness will, and stories of illegal immigrants overwhelming communities will. Imagine if Dr. Oz ran daily ads with videos showcasing Philadelphia’s violence rather than his clownish grocery store disaster? No one in Pennsylvania cares about the price of guacamole, but they care about getting shot or stabbed in their own neighborhoods.

Sadly, I don’t expect the GOP leadership to create such a Contract with America Deux. They’re cowards and grifters. Such a campaign would require backbone against the predictable cries of “racism” that would emerge because most of the videos involve young Black hoodlums and thugs. They would be branded racists by the race pimps and the professional victimization industry.

Those attacks would come as surely as night follows day. But, so what? It just happens to be the case that most of the crimes we see involve Black perps freed from the justice system in the name of “equity.” If there are similar videos of White perps, they should be shown too. The reality is, if you’re a victim of murder or rape it doesn’t matter what the criminal looks like. Is a dead Black child any more or less dead because his attacker was Black or White? No. Crime is off the charts not because of the pigment of anyone’s skin, but because of the policies of the Democrat party.

Republicans need to understand their constituency is not the criminal class of any race. Their constituency is the average American of every race. It’s Americans who want to send their kids to school without them having to step over junkies or human feces. It’s the average American who wants to go to work without fearing getting shot or robbed before making it home.

The rule of law and responsibility for one’s actions are the foundations of a civilized society. Without them, there is no civilized society. That’s what we’re experiencing with Democrats in charge, and it seems as if the GOP leadership is OK with that. We, however, are not. This is the hill to die on, this is the hill upon which America will either recover or slide into the abyss of chaos and tyranny….

We cannot depend on the current GOP “leaders” to fight this fight. This is going to have to come from the candidates themselves and a 2022 Gingrich to nationalize this election and help push the feckless GOP across the finish line. McConnell may not be capable of leading the country out of this morass, but at least with a GOP majority in November, we can slow our collapse into a dystopian nightmare until people of character can replace him. Being in the majority is the first step. Then, we need candidates with the courage to stand up and fight for the average American, regardless of the invective that will surely be headed their way…

Nancy Pelosi Lands in Singapore to Begin Asia Tour amid U.S.-China Tensions over Taiwan

Nancy Pelosi Lands in Singapore to Begin Asia Tour amid U.S.-China Tensions over Taiwan

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived in Singapore early Monday to start her Asia tour with questions remaining as to whether Taiwan is included in the lightning trip.

AP reports “a person familiar with the matter” confirmed Pelosi and her diplomatic entourage landed in the city-state before dawn as tension with Beijing continues over exactly where she will be going next and when.

Singapore President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong are on her list for meetings on day one, said a spokesperson for Singapore’s foreign ministry.

Pelosi is also expected to attend a cocktail reception with the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. There is no media access to her visit, which has been kept under tight wraps.

China has been vociferous in its condemnation of any attempt by Pelosi or any other senior American official to visit Taiwan, which it regards as a renegade state.

Taiwan and China split in 1949 after the communists won a civil war on the mainland. Both sides say they are one country but disagree over which government is entitled to national leadership.

They have no official relations but are linked by billions of dollars of trade and investment.

In a statement over the weekend, Pelosi said she will also visit Malaysia, South Korea and Japan to discuss trade, the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, security and “democratic governance.”

Traveling with her are five Democrats, although she had invited House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX), who declined to go, as Breitbart News reported.

The last time a U.S. official of her status visited Taiwan was in 1997, and the official was then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA).

Gingrich has urged Pelosi to go despite the Biden administration’s opposition, calling it “timidity, covered by insecurity and an eagerness to appease people who aren’t Americans.”

In Taiwan, there have been mixed views about the prospect of Pelosi visiting, but figures from both the ruling party and the main opposition have said the island should not cave to Chinese pressure.

“If Pelosi were to cancel or postpone the trip, it would be a victory for the Chinese government and for Xi as it would show that the pressure it has exerted has achieved some desired effects,” Hung Chin-fu, from Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University, told AFP.

Pelosi Begins Asia Trip as Questions Linger over Potential Visit to Taiwan

Pelosi Begins Asia Trip as Questions Linger over Potential Visit to Taiwan

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — a long-time critic of the Chinese Communist Party — began her trip to Asia on Sunday but did not confirm if she would visit Taiwan and become the highest-ranking U.S. official to visit in 25 years.

Beijing has threatened consequences if Pelosi flies to Taiwan, and the Biden administration opposes the trip out of concern it will prompt some sort of military confrontation with China or further destabilize the relationship.

“You have a woke Defense Department which is as timid as the State Department, which is really dangerous,” Gingrich said at the America First Policy Institute summit last week in Washington, DC.

A number of other Republicans are also urging Pelosi to go and not back down to Beijing, including Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), who visited Taiwan this month.

“China is just a belligerent country with some wonderful people, but horrible government. And so, we’ve gotta stand up for our great ally — not just Taiwan, but … when we do this, we’re supporting Japan. We’re sort of supporting South Korea and other allies in the Asias,” he told Breitbart News.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), a double amputee, visited Taiwan for the second time in May.

Beijing — an authoritarian regime — claims Taiwan as its territory, despite Taiwan having its own government since Chinese nationalists fled to the island in 1945 after a civil war

Today, Taiwan is a thriving democracy of 23 million citizens and an economy that ranks around the 20th largest in the world. It considers itself a separate country, but China has vowed to “reunite” Taiwan under its control, including by force.

Although the U.S. cut formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan when it normalized relations with China in 1979 as part of its “one China policy,” Washington maintains a robust informal diplomatic relationship with Taiwan and strongly opposes a military invasion of Taiwan by China.

However, the U.S. has tried to maintain “strategic ambiguity” over the question of military intervention — where it has not clarified outright if it would defend Taiwan militarily if China invades, in a balancing act intended to placate China but also deter any invasion.

President Joe Biden has said multiple times that the U.S. would come to Taiwan’s aid militarily if China invades, but White House officials have immediately walked his comments back — leaving it unclear what the Biden administration would actually do.

Under current Chinese President Xi Jinping, China has dramatically stepped up its military and diplomatic bullying of Taiwan — flying record numbers of military sorties around the island and peeling off Taiwan’s official diplomatic allies with promises of economic development. Some experts believe that China could seek to invade Taiwan as early as 2027, which could prompt a U.S. military confrontation with Chinese forces.

In the meantime, Taiwan has doubled down on building its defense capabilities and sought to bolster its informal and formal diplomatic relations with other democratic nations, including the U.S., other nations in the region such as Japan, as well as Eastern Europe. Taiwan has donated humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine as they face an ongoing invasion from Russia.

Taiwan has also highlighted its role in warning the world of COVID-19 after the virus originated from Wuhan in China and Chinese officials tried to stop information about the infectious disease from getting out — costing the world precious time to react and letting it spread to the U.S. and around the world.

Michael Pillsbury, author of The Hundred-Year Marathon: China’s Secret Strategy to Replace America as the Global Superpower and considered the nation’s leading authority on China by former President Donald Trump, told Breitbart News in an email on Sunday:

We need a Congressional review of the one China policy. It appears China’s expanding the definition that not only does Taiwan belong to China, but China can dictate which U.S. government officials and members of Congress are allowed to visit Taiwan.

As you recall, quite a few American officials have now been ‘sanctioned’ for violating Chinese sovereignty because of their visits to Taiwan. This was not the original one China policy agreement.

Pillsbury added that the One China policy has “never actually been submitted as a document or treaty to the U.S. Congress,” and the U.S. has taken a stricter interpretation than necessary.

“My impression is members of Congress have only a very limited understanding of what was agreed to first by Henry Kissinger and later by Jimmy Carter. We started as early as 1970s with self-imposed restrictions,” he said.

Gingrich, who said his trip to Taiwan came at a fraught time and was strongly opposed by Beijing, urged Pelosi to show strength, not weakness. He scoffed at suggestions that China would try to interfere with Pelosi’s trip, such as by intercepting her plane. Chinese officials have threatened to shoot it down.

“Well, my first suggestion is this — if the Department of Defense is not certain that they can protect an American speaker of the House in a public visit, why would we think they could protect Taiwan?” Gingrich said.

“And if you’re the Chinese Communists, and you [watched] the total mess in Afghanistan, the total mess in Ukraine, you begin to think this administration is just begging to be bullied. And so I come in there and said we have enormous disagreements on 98 or 99 for some of the things. So on this one, I think she had her instincts right. I hope she sticks to her guns,” he said.

The trip is likely the last chance Pelosi will have to visit Taiwan as House Speaker. Republicans are widely expected to take back the House this November, and there is rampant speculation that Pelosi, who is 82, will retire at the end of her current term. The trip would cement her legacy as a speaker who was not afraid to offend China.

According to Pelosi’s office, she will be visiting Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan on her trip. Traveling with her are five Democrats, although she had invited House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX), who declined to go.

“Today, our Congressional delegation travels to the Indo-Pacific to reaffirm America’s strong and unshakeable commitment to our allies and friends in the region,” Pelosi said in her statement.

Gingrich Predicts ‘End of the Post-World War II System’ — ‘We’re Going to See a Much More Violent World’

Gingrich Predicts ‘End of the Post-World War II System’ — ‘We’re Going to See a Much More Violent World’

During an interview that aired Sunday on New York WABC 770 AM radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted that Russia ramping up aggression toward Ukraine means “the end of the post-World War II system.”

Gingrich told host John Catsimatidis that “we’re going to see a much more violent world” and warned China would try to seize Taiwan after seeing how weak the West is.

“[Vladimir Putin] is a little bit like a gambler who he’s going to push see what the reaction is,” Gingrich advised. “If the West is as weak as it seems right now, he will push again, probably against the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania — maybe against Poland. He really wants to destroy NATO and drive the U.S. out of Europe. And he sees that as his job.”

“In the case of the Germans, China is their biggest export market now,” he continued. “I mean, they sell more BMWs and Mercedes and Volkswagons in China, and Russia is the source of their inexpensive energy. So, the two great dictatorships both have huge pieces of the German economy. And the Germans are not going to risk that over something … like Ukrainian independence, which the Germans don’t care about. The … great danger right now is that Xi Jinping in China is going to watch how weak the West is and decide the point has come to seize Taiwan; that while we’re busy worrying about Ukraine, that that’s the right moment for China to take back what it considers its 19th province. All of this means the end of the post-World War II system, which had successfully maintained the peace worldwide for some 77 years. And I think now that we’re going to see a much more violent world and a lot greater dangers, and we’re going to see the dictatorships being much more aggressive.”

Exclusive — Rick Scott on 11-Point Plan with 128 Promises from Republicans: ‘We Win Elections by Having Plans’

Exclusive — Rick Scott on 11-Point Plan with 128 Promises from Republicans: ‘We Win Elections by Having Plans’

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) on Tuesday morning released an 11-point broad vision for Republicans if and when they retake control in Washington, complete with 128 specific policy promises to voters.

The plan from Scott represents possibly the clearest overarching view any Republican has offered ahead of the 2022 midterm elections on the party’s vision for the future and has clear endorsements upon its release from top party leaders. It also signals a clear shift in the GOP towards culture war issues that motivate voters and a serious effort to confront and address the litany of problems facing American society today. The plan, which Scott and his team previewed for Breitbart News ahead of its public release, is published here and is available for the public to see at the website RescueAmerica.com, which Scott launched to roll out the proposal.

Scott, the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), released the plan in his personal capacity from his own campaign — and told Breitbart News in a lengthy interview on Monday evening previewing its release that he views it as a clear-eyed attempt to steer the country back from the brink.

11-Point Plan to Rescue Ame… by Breitbart News

“Here’s why I’m doing it. I’m a business guy. In business, what I’ve always done is I figure out my business plan, and then I worked my plan — that’s what I’ve always done, and I’ve always had success,” Scott told Breitbart News. “I did the same thing when I ran in 2010 for governor. I wrote my plan. I worked my plan. Then I implemented it when I became governor, and we turned around the state of Florida. I am the same way — I have a plan at the NRSC. I have a plan for my job as a U.S. senator, and this is my plan for how we’re going to turn around the country. I think our country is in deep trouble. I think we’re not going to turn it around if we don’t have a plan to do it. It’s what I believe in, and I think it’s what Republicans if we talk about things that people would like Republicans to talk about it. We’ll see, and people will give me different ideas about what they believe in, but it’s got to be what people believe in. I believe we win elections by having plans.”

Several of the specific policy proposals in the plan take key culture war issues like immigration, election integrity, big tech, transgenderism, education, leftist racial insanity, and the rising crime wave sweeping the nation head-on in ways Republicans have not previously as a party. For instance, regarding efforts by many of the left to normalize transgenderism among children, the Scott plan specifically states that Republicans will deliver on this: “No doctor will be allowed to perform irreversible surgical or gender-altering procedures on any minor child. Once they become adults, they can do what they wish.”

Or regarding immigration, Scott’s plan explicitly rules out any mass amnesty proposal or bigger “comprehensive” immigration reform pitch until lawlessness on the border is halted completely: “We will oppose all ‘comprehensive’ immigration reform measures until we stop the lawlessness on our border, and our border is secured.” That view is very different than the GOP of just a few years ago, which as recently as 2013 — in the wake of now-former President Barack Obama’s reelection — widely embraced efforts for amnesty as the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill passed the U.S. Senate nine years ago with 14 Republican votes. It is worth noting only five of those Republicans are left, and at least two, probably three, of them would never vote for that bill again.

The plan also calls to finish former President Donald Trump’s border wall and even says that Republicans will seek to rename the wall after Trump. “He’s done more to focus on border security than any president I know of,” Scott said of why he wants to name the border wall after Trump.

He said he had not spoken to the former president about it yet, but “I’ve got a call into him.”

The plan is titled “An 11 Point Plan to Rescue America: What Americans Must Do to Save This Country,” and the entirety of it spans more than 60 pages. The second page of the document has a quote from Scott saying why he is doing this: “Americans deserve to know what we will do given the chance to govern.”

The document opens with a letter from Scott explaining the stakes and how the “militant left” controls Washington, the media, Hollywood, academia, and many companies while “redefining America and silencing their opponents.”

“Roaring inflation, the dangerous mismanagement of our border, the disastrous escalation of spending and debt, the shamefully inept withdrawal from Afghanistan, the use of public schools for left-wing indoctrination, and the incredible lawlessness on our streets… Americans are angry, and rightfully so,” Scott writes in the letter opening the document. “As a result, the American people are very likely to put Republicans in control of the Senate and House in 2022. But then, what? If Republicans return to Washington’s business as usual, if we have no bigger plan than to be a speed bump on the road to America’s collapse, we don’t deserve to govern. We must resolve to aim higher than the Republican Congresses that came before us. Americans deserve to know what we will do.”

The next page shows the U.S. Constitution burning with the headline “The Hour is Late for America” before listing out several bullet points demonstrating what is wrong in the country under Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration and complete Democrat control in Congress. After that, the plan to “Rescue America” opens with several pages explaining the 11 broad overarching points — then the later pages go into granular detail on each point.

Scott’s decision to release such a plan does run counter to Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell’s publicly stated view that Republicans should not, in his opinion, lay out broad promises to the public.

“That is a very good question,” McConnell recently told NBC News when asked what Republicans would do if they win back the majority. “And I’ll let you know when we take it back. … This midterm election will be a report card on the performance of this entire Democratic government: the president, the House and the Senate.”

McConnell has made similar points in other interviews and commentary, arguing that 2022 should be all about bashing Democrats and not what Republicans will do when they get there. But many top Republicans have disagreed with McConnell on this point. His counterpart on the House side, House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy, told Breitbart News in December in a broad video special interview published in early January that he does not agree with McConnell.

“I have a different view. I don’t think majorities are given, I think they are earned,” McCarthy said back then. “I think you also should be very truthful to the American public about what would you do with that majority. It’s not just being in the majority for the sake of being in the majority. You’re being in the majority to make America better.”

Scott, in rolling out this plan, told Breitbart News in his interview Monday afternoon that he does not see much daylight between himself and McConnell on this matter.

“I think Mitch McConnell is right about how this election will be mostly about Biden’s failures, and I talked to Mitch about how I’m doing this and he said he thinks it’s right that campaigns that have agendas to win, and I hope people will look at this and see if some of this will fit for some of their individual races,” Scott said.

Asked more about that matter and how McCarthy has laid out his plan in his Breitbart News interview, Scott said he does not see disagreement between him and McConnell on this point.

Roy Blunt (R-MO), speaks to reporters briefly following a closed-door meeting where the Republican Conference held leadership elections, on Capitol Hill in Washington. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite, File)

“Kevin is going to put out a plan — I think McConnell is right in that a lot of this election will be about the failure of Biden,” Scott said. “That’s what this midterm is, a referendum on the president. But I do believe that it’s important to talk to people about what you’re doing and then do it. I think it’s important that Republicans do that, and I talked to McConnell. He doesn’t disagree that the campaigns that need to are going to have what they’re for. So I don’t think there’s disagreement.”

Scott’s plan also has some heavy GOP firepower on board from the outset too. Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement provided to Breitbart News that she wholeheartedly backs the plan.

“Joe Biden and Democrats have made life more expensive and less safe for families across America,” McDaniel said. “Republicans like Senator Rick Scott have real solutions to put us back on track. From lowering costs and creating jobs, to supporting police and securing the border, Republicans are offering a clear plan to protect and reinvigorate the America we know and love.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the architect of the 1994 House GOP takeover with the Contract with America, in a statement provided to Breitbart News also endorsed Scott’s vision for the GOP while comparing it to that historic plan he released decades ago.

“Rick Scott’s Rescue America Plan is a very important contribution toward a positive, problem-solving Republican Party,” Gingrich said. “Like the Contract with America, it will help win the election and also, even more importantly, serve as a blueprint for the new Republican majority to focus on solving problems and creating a dramatically better American future. It is a very important step toward getting America back on track toward a more prosperous, freer and safer future.”

Scott also told Breitbart News that “we’ll see” when asked if he expects many GOP senators and candidates to endorse his vision for the party and the country.

“These are things I’m going to talk about. I’m sure everybody is going to talk about different things, but my goal when we get the majority is let’s do something,” Scott said. “Let’s actually accomplish something, and I’m a business guy, so this is what I do. I write plans. I enact plans. This is how I actually get success. That’s what I want to get done for this country. This is a country where there’s no place for me to move. I’ve lived in eight states to try to find the best place. I think I live in the best place right now, which is Florida, but I want to fix this country.”

Scott added too that some might not like that he is laying it out there this clearly, but he is doing it anyway because he thinks the country needs it.

“Some people are going to hate that I’m pushing to have a conversation on these things, but it’s the right thing to do,” Scott said. “If you’re going to get anywhere, you got to have a plan to do it.”

The number-one point out of the 11 broad points in the plan is “Education,” a huge focus of the party after Virginia GOP Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s victory over Democrat Terry McAuliffe in November 2021.

In it, Scott’s plan backs school choice wholeheartedly — but then also takes the GOP a step further in leaning into protecting parents and children from the clutches of the left.

“Kids in public schools will say the Pledge of Allegiance, stand for the National Anthem, and honor the American Flag. We must foster national unity,” Scott’s plan says.

It adds in a later point, “No child will be taught they are inherently racist because of the color of their skin, or that some Americans are oppressors and others are oppressed.”

Scott told Breitbart News that the reason he put education first in the document is that it is the single most important thing society can provide American youths to have an opportunity for success in life.

“The things that impact a family the most are three things: self-sufficiency, that could be a job or that could be inflation or how things cost too much or things like that,” Scott said in his interview. “So that first thing is financial. The next thing is their kids’ educations, whether you’re talking about critical race theory or you’re talking about school choice — all those things — what every family wants is their kid to have a shot at the dream because they know that’s the dream. Education is the way out of poverty. I lived it. I grew up in public housing with a single mom, and education is how I was able to figure it out. Then, the third thing is going to be, do you feel safe? That could be the police, that could be a strong military, that could be fighting drugs, that could be securing the border, but I think it all sort of comes down to those things. When I grew up, we said the Pledge of Allegiance every day. We saluted the flag. We didn’t trash our forefathers. We didn’t have enough school choice, but I think parents — rich parents get to choose their kids’ schools — all parents ought to get to choose their kids’ schools.”

Point two in the 11-point document pushes for “Color Blind Equality” and has specific policy recommendations like banning checkboxes on federal government forms for people to identify their race. A different form of the “Ban the Box” campaign — something that ex-cons have used to try to remove such boxes identifying criminal history reporting requirements from job applications — Scott’s plan aims to remove racial reporting requirements from federal forms.

“Government will not ask American citizens to disclose their race, ethnicity, or skin color on any government form,” Scott’s plan says, adding that “no government policy can be based on race or ethnicity.”

“Our military will engage in ZERO diversity training, teachings on critical race theory, or any woke ideological indoctrination that divides our troops. Our fighting force must be completely united and completely colorblind,” Scott’s plan continues, adding that anyone in military leadership who does prioritize race over national security will be relieved of their command.

The plan would also bar colleges and universities from using race and ethnicity as a factor in determining admissions, and any that do not comply would lose federal funding and their tax-exempt statuses.

Point three in the Scott plan focuses on “Safety/Crime” and calls for stopping Democrat efforts to defund police. Among other specific policy recommendations in this part, the plan says Republicans will “support mandatory strict minimum sentences for all assaults involving serious injury to law enforcement officers.”

“We will demand a nationwide crackdown on theft and violent crime by imposing stiffer penalties so we can restore law and order to our city streets,” a later point adds.

Scott told Breitbart News that it is very simple how to end the crime wave: “Enforce the law.”

“First off, the police are the good guys and the criminals are the bad guys,” Scott said. “You need to teach our kids how to respect the police. We’ve got to fund law enforcement and then we need to prosecute people for their crimes and if you have a prosecutor who’s unwilling to prosecute or enforce the law, you fire them. I did this when I was governor. I had state attorneys that got elected with a plan to not enforce the law and so I took away their cases. That’s what we’ve got to do. We’ve got to start standing up for what we believe in.”

Point four in the plan is immigration. Here, there are many interesting points that Republicans are now openly embracing as a party in addition to the aforementioned pledge of explicitly opposing comprehensive immigration legislation until the border is secured. In addition to explicitly stating that the border must be secured and that Americans are reasonable to expect border controls to stop illegal immigration, the plan explicitly states that nobody has a “right” to come to America. This means Republicans are beginning to think through who should be allowed into America legally and why they should be allowed in.

“Many potential immigrants love America,” the plan states. “Those who don’t will not be allowed to come here. This is our country, and no one has a ‘right’ to come to America.”

The plan also targets immigrants using welfare upon entering the country, banning it for at least seven years upon entrance. “Immigrants will not be eligible to collect unemployment benefits or welfare for the first 7 years after arriving in the US,” the plan states, also adding: “We will stop incentivizing people to come to America to receive government benefits. We have plenty of welfare recipients – we need productive citizens instead.”

“I think we need to stop the problem first,” Scott said of the hard-core vision he is laying out for the party on immigration. “I’m from an immigration state. We like immigration — legal immigration. But right now, who’s getting hurt? Who’s getting hurt when people come here illegally? It’s people who are in the system trying to figure out how to become legal citizens. The easy thing now is to just come across our southern border — take a flight to Mexico City, or take a flight somewhere close to the southern border, take an Uber and then walk across the border. That’s not the way you fix immigration. You exacerbate the problem. I think we’ve got to finish the wall, we’ve got to have border security, and then we start tackling immigration. It will not be easy to fix immigration, but the first thing we ought to say to ourselves is we want people to come to our country who believe in our country and believe in capitalism and that are exceptional and want to be independent.”

The fifth point of Scott’s plan focuses on “Economy/Growth,” and also has some bold provisions for Republicans.

“Socialism will be treated as a foreign combatant which aims to destroy our prosperity and freedom,” reads the first proposal under this point, that also calls for, among other things, eliminating non-essential government employees, implementing a line-item veto at the federal level, and banning pay for members of Congress if they fail to pass a budget.

Point six in Scott’s plan focuses on “Government Reform/Debt” and, like the others, has some big proposals for the GOP including a call to ban any former elected officials from serving as lobbyists altogether, enacting 12-year term limits for Congress, moving most federal agencies out of Washington, DC, and sunsetting all federal legislation every five years forcing Congress to pass everything again if it is worth keeping. The sixth point also includes several provisions to begin tackling America’s runaway national debt, including forcing the government to make payments now, including by selling off excess government buildings, land, and assets to do so.

“If you think about it, when I grew up, we didn’t have $30 trillion worth of debt,” Scott told Breitbart News. “In my schools, they didn’t teach that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were evil racists. We didn’t trash our country. We were taught that you had to listen to our elders and you had to listen to law enforcement and you didn’t want to ever violate the law and it wasn’t — the law probably wasn’t as bad as my mom was. My mom would have been just livid if I ever did something wrong. The country is in trouble — $30 trillion worth of debt. I don’t know if you followed, but I blocked the postal reform bill. Do you know what the postal reform bill did? It did nothing to increase revenues, nothing to reduce costs, it did nothing to create efficiencies, but it took liabilities off the balance sheet of the postal service and put them onto the balance sheet of Medicare, and people act like we did something.”

In Washington, Scott said, politicians regularly act like they are actually doing something when whatever proposal they are considering does not do what they say it does. He pointed to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s “anti-China bill” that passed the Senate last year as an example as it does nothing to combat China — and just spends hundreds of billions more dollars on wasteful projects.

“That’s what they do — I’ve been up there three years,” Scott said. “They had a ‘China bill.’ They put a nice title on it. But it doesn’t do anything to counteract China — it wastes $250 billion.”

Point seven of Scott’s plan zones in on election integrity, and in it, he calls for a national voter ID plan and for banning ballot harvesting everywhere. It also calls for banning unmanned or unmonitored ballot drop boxes in public areas, and for barring public financing of campaigns — as well as making it illegal to count ballots that arrive after election day.

“Ballots can only be submitted to a polling location by a voter or the post office. No ballots that show up after election day will be counted, ever,” the plan continues.

The eighth point in Scott’s plan encourages “Family” policies, and in it, Scott calls for a system that encourages marriage and discourages abortion. In this section, Scott calls for strict penalties for “deadbeat dads” who avoid child support payments: “We will make it impossible for deadbeat dads to avoid paying child support – beginning with paternity. They will either pay up or go to jail, with no other options.”

The next point, the ninth in Scott’s plan, is titled “Gender, Life, Science,” and further fleshes out anti-abortion views and combats transgenderism’s harmful effects on society.

“Abortion kills human children. To deny that is to deny science,” the plan states, adding, “Whether you believe in God or not, as a civilized people who accept science, we must protect babies, born and unborn, from all acts of violence.”

It also says, “All government policies will favor having more babies adopted, not aborted.” When it comes to transgenderism, Scott’s plan also states clearly that, scientifically, there are only two genders.

“Humans are born male and female, there are two genders, and to deny that is to deny science,” Scott’s plan states, adding that his plan will ban government forms from having any questions of Americans about “gender identity” or “sexual preference.”

Also, in addition to the aforementioned ban on medical procedures on children that would alter a child’s gender, Scott’s plan includes a clear vision on protecting women’s sports from biological men. “We will protect women’s sports by banning biological males from competing. It is hugely unfair and would erase many of the gains women have made in athletics over the last 50 years,” Scott’s plan states.

“You’ve got to treat kids as kids,” Scott told Breitbart News when asked about these provisions. “Men shouldn’t be taking over women’s sports. I think it’s wrong what’s going on in this country right now — we’re going to kill women’s sports. They’re going to stop winning, just look at the NCAA championship swimming. I do believe we ought to be careful about these gender-altering procedures on a child. I think we’ve got to do everything we can to take care of unborn babies. I’m pro-life. This is science. Democrats all want to use science when it’s to their benefit. We know that abortion takes a human life, so I think we got to do everything we can to protect babies.”

Section 10 of Scott’s plan focuses on “Religious Liberty/Big Tech,” and also has some clearer-than-before-seen views for Republicans on these issues. His plan for instance states that platforms that act like publishers — like Facebook or Twitter — will be treated like publishers under the law.

“They should not be using our personal information without our consent — not some 15-page document, but we need a way where they can’t use our personal information. That was never the intent,” Scott told Breitbart News. “They are to be treated like a publisher, which they are. If they’re going to act like a publisher, they’re going to be treated like a publisher. If they want to censor free speech, which is what they’re doing, they ought to be subject to legal action. They’re book burners, that’s what they are. There’s no difference between censoring people and their content than burning books. That’s exactly what they’re doing — they’re burning books.”

The 11th and final point in the document is titled “America First” and states, “We are Americans, not globalists” — perhaps one of the strongest party statements against the failures of the past to explicitly reject “globalists.”

Here, Scott has some of his most aggressive policy proposals, including banning foreign aid to any countries that regularly oppose the United States at the United Nations, cutting U.S. dues payments to the U.N. “or any international organization that undermines the national interests of the USA,” and a push to formally end all imports from Communist China “until a new regime honors basic human rights and freedoms.”

It also makes several policy proclamations about the use of America’s military. “Our military will not be used as a peace-keeping force, it exists to protect us by intimidating or killing our enemies,” Scott’s plan states, adding, “Nation-building does not work, we will not waste our treasure or troops doing it.”

Asked about these points, Scott told Breitbart News that while they appear last in the document, they are certainly not least — and perhaps are the most important.

“I don’t think we think we can do anything for anyone else — like you can’t take care of anyone else unless you take care of yourself first,” Scott said. “So the first thing we have to say to ourselves is if we’re not physically strong, if we’re not militarily strong, if we’re not culturally strong, we’re going to have a very difficult time helping anyone else. We don’t do anything that’s not good for this country. We don’t do things that are bad for jobs in this country — and we don’t waste our resources. China is a despicable government. They steal everything. They lie every day. They will say whatever it takes to do anything, then they don’t comply with anything. They have not complied with the latest trade agreement — the WTO — and you shouldn’t be doing business with a country that has slave labor and puts people in prison just because of their religion. We shouldn’t do it. We shouldn’t have the Olympics there, and we need to start calling this out. We need to stop buying their stuff. We’ve got to decouple ourselves from them. It’s pretty simple. We don’t go buy a bunch of stuff from Iran or North Korea — we shouldn’t be buying it from them. All we’re doing is helping them from it.”

Exclusive — Jeremy Peters: Breitbart-Style Republicans Have the Winning Playbook

Exclusive — Jeremy Peters: Breitbart-Style Republicans Have the Winning Playbook

Author Jeremy Peters spoke with Breitbart News about his new book, Insurgency: How Republicans Lost Their Party and Got Everything They Ever Wantedand said Republicans who embody the Breitbart culture have “the playbook that wins.”

Peters appeared on Breitbart News Saturday, hosted by Breitbart political editor Matthew Boyle.

LISTEN:

Peters mentioned that his book is a chronological story of how the new, Trump-like American First Republican Party began.

According to Peters, the core, grassroots Republican voter has always flocked to an “insurgent candidate.” Peters pointed to Pat Buchanan, former Republican presidential candidate, as the earliest architect of today’s Republican Party. Buchanan called for a fence at the southern border and talked about the crime illegal immigrants were committing nearly twenty years before the rise of former President Donald Trump.

“What Pat Buchanan did back then would carry through,” Peters said. “It’s a pretty straight line from what Pat Buchanan said and did and the policies he referred to as America First and Donald Trump. I mean, he talked about people who had been killed by undocumented immigrants, so it was kind of like an early version of the Angel Mom movement. He talked about, you know, the need to keep American jobs here instead of shipping them overseas. And most importantly, and I think people kind of forget this about Pat Buchanan. He was very anti-affirmative action.”

The conversation then shifted to former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, whose story is vital in Peters’s book. Peters explained that the story of Trump’s MAGA movement could not have been told without Sarah Palin.

Peters talked about a portion of his book that focuses on Palin and how Palin was urged to run for president in 2012 by people such as Steve Bannon, Peter Schweizer, and Dave Bossie, who would later become President Trump surrogates.

“They went down to Scottsdale and tried to convince Palin to run for president,” Peters said. “They put together a whole presentation, and I detail this in the book, the way that they said to her, ‘look, the 2012 cast of Republican candidates are basically a bunch of cover bands, and you are the true rock star.’”

Peters noted that failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s team feared a Palin candidacy because of a “Not-Mitt” phenomenon.

“There was this phenomenon I described, and Mitt Romney’s advisers it identified as the ‘not-Mitt’ phenomenon, where it was just anyone but Mitt was appealing to these conservative voters who didn’t like the kind of old model of Republican politics that he represented where he would say things like, ‘corporations are people my friend.’ I mean, talk about an anti-populist message if there ever was one,” he said.

Boyle noted Romney’s loss to former President Barack Obama sowed the seeds for the rise of Trump due to Obama’s failed policies implemented during his second term. He also pointed out the impact Breitbart News founder Andrew Breitbart had on the way Republican candidates deal with corporate media.

Boyle also mentioned that Scott Brown’s embrace of a tough-on-immigration stance during his 2014 run for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire laid the groundwork for Trump’s eventual 2016 run for president.

Peters agreed with Boyle, saying that Brown’s 2014 campaign “was such a pivotal moment in the turning point from the Republican Party away from this kind of pro-corporate cut taxes, trickle down economics, rising tide lifts all boats policy, and towards something that was more friendly to the working class.”

“Without that shift away, without the recognition that these policies that the Republican Party had stood for for decades, had no constituency anymore, you don’t get a candidate like Donald Trump,” Peters added.

Boyle mentioned that although Brown’s campaign was unsuccessful, it permanently changed the way Republican politicians would campaign going forward. He pointed out that Brown’s hardline stance on immigration came just after 14 Senate Republicans supported the “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill, of which only five remain in office and of those who do remain, they would “never vote for that bill again.”

“Now, if you listen to any Republican candidate out there, they’re going to tout this Trumpian Breitbartian line on immigration, they’re not going to split from that,” Boyle said.

Peters touched on the “autopsy” establishment Republicans completed after the 2012 loss that mentioned immigration reform would be a key way to earn support from Hispanic voters.

“I have another scene in the book around that era, where you have Paul Ryan, who coming off of his defeat with Mitt Romney in 2012, goes back to Washington and says, ‘We don’t have an entry point to Hispanic voters, so we need to pass immigration.’ Well, as I detail in the book, they had, the Republican National Committee, in their own data in the surveys that they commissioned for this autopsy, stats showing them that immigration reform was not a cure-all for Hispanics and that Hispanics needed something else they needed a pro-worker message. And that pro-worker message really at the time was something that was only being uttered by the likes of, you know, you and your colleagues at Breitbart, Jeff Sessions, Stephen Miller, and eventually Donald Trump,” he said.

Boyle then highlighted Tennessee as a perfect example of Trump’s impact on the Republican Party.

“When Trump came into office, the two U.S. senators were Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander from Tennessee. Both of them voted, by the way, for the Gang of Eight amnesty bill,” he said. “Now the two U.S. senators from Tennessee are Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, both of whom would absolutely never vote for that and are actually fighters for America First.”

He also touched on how Biden’s presidency is similar to Obama’s second term, in that the perfect storm of failed policies between foreign policy, inflation, and the border crisis are brewing towards another Trump run for the White House.

Peters agreed with Boyle’s assessment and said voters would likely think Trump is more competent and in control than they viewed him in the 2020 election.

According to Peters, Biden’s failures “helps Trump because Trump’s whole thing was, his big Achilles heel was that he didn’t look competent. He didn’t look in control in 2020.”

“And some voters, a lot of them that voted for Trump the first time rolled the dice on Biden. I don’t know how many of them are going to do that again, unless things really turn around in the economy and foreign policy for Biden,” Peters added.

He also elaborated more on the title of his book, Insurgency: How Republicans Lost Their Party and Got Everything They Ever Wanted. Peters said establishment Republicans such as Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) looked over Trump’s personality because he governed effectively and brought the conservative movement multiple victories.

“Whatever Mitch McConnell, privately, and all these other kinds of establishment Republicans thought about Trump, they were able to look past it, because the policies worked. The Supreme Court is now decidedly conservative, and people give Trump a pass, and I think that for the most part, they continue to do that because I think the core Trump voter is somebody who thinks, you know, ‘my country’s slipping away from me. I’m one election away from not recognizing the type of country that I live in anymore,’” he said.

Boyle said he does not believe the Republican Party will ever go back in the other direction and asked Peters what he thought about that.

Peters ended the interview discussing how the modern Republican Party has embodied the fighting spirit that Andrew Breitbart had, which is “the playbook that wins.”

“I think that what Breitbart embodies about the modern Republican Party is this no apologies, don’t hold back culture, where you know, it’s bare-knuckled, it’s in your face. And Republicans who maybe aren’t comfortable with that type of aggression have now come around to see that that’s the playbook that wins,” he said.

“And guys like Andrew Breitbart always understood that voters love a fighter, and they love a bit of performance too, because, you know, Andrew was, he was a polemicist. He was a performer. He was polarizing, but he was ultimately like an entertaining guide. And that’s what people saw in Trump,” Peters continued.

“A lot of these successful, populist conservative candidates are at heart really good at captivating an audience and making them laugh and also making them mad. And you don’t see that from guys like Mitt Romney,” he added.

“That’s why going back to our conversation about 2012 Romney didn’t do well in those debates, the voters didn’t like what they were seeing because a guy like Newt Gingrich taking a cue from the Andrew Breitbart playbook knew how to rip the other guy’s face off,” Peters said.

“And that’s what people want to see done on the debate stage and now the candidates who can do that are the candidates who are succeeding in today’s Republican Party,” Peters concluded.

Breitbart News Saturday airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
