Trump slate sweeps Top Arizona Primary Races

Kari Lake wins Arizona GOP governor primary and is expected to face off against Katie Hobbs, who is currently Arizona’s Secretary of State

The Arizona GOP governor primary on Thursday evening was called for candidate Kari Lake, giving former President Donald Trump a clean sweep in the state in Tuesday night’s primaries.

She is expected to face off against Katie Hobbs, who is currently Arizona’s Secretary of State, to replace Republican Gov. Doug Ducey.

The Associated Press projected Lake as the winner with about 88.3% of the ballots counted. Lake came in with 46.8% of the vote. Lawyer Karrin Taylor Robson came in second to Lake with 44.0%.

Her victory is also a showdown between former President Trump and former Vice President Pence, the latter of whom endorsed Taylor Robson.

Lake celebrated her victory late Tuesday evening after a source told El American that she is the projected primary winner.

Lake, a former television news journalist, is known for her tough stance on the southern border.

“Kari will make her wonderful family, and the MAGA movement, very proud,” Trump said when he endorsed her.

Lake’s victory marked a perfect record for Trump-endorsed Republicans in the state’s major primary races. Venture capitalist Blake Masters claimed the party’s senatorial nomination while Mark Finchem won the secretary of state primary, and Abe Hamadeh won the attorney general primary contest.

Trump: ‘I know it’s not looking good’ but ‘best is yet to come’

July Fourth Message

Trump wrote that inflation, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the tanking stock market would not have happened if he were president.

By Madeleine Hubbard

Former President Donald Trump wished Americans a happy Fourth of July on Monday by saying that he knows life in the U.S. is “not looking good” right now but the “best is yet to come.”

The former president’s posts on his Truth Social platform come two days after The New York Times and CNN reported he is considering joining the 2024 presidential race early, “possibly” even before the midterm elections this fall, as televised hearings from the Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee continue to result in weeks of bad press.

“I know it’s not looking good for our Country right now, with a major War raging out of control in Europe, the Highest Inflation in memory, the worst 6 month Stock Market start in History, the highest Energy Prices EVER, and that is the Good News,” Trump posted.

“Happy Fourth of July!!! ((Don’t worry, We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and remember, none of these terrible events would have happened if I were President!!!)).”

U.S. inflation numbers for June have yet to be released, but the annualized rate of 8.6% in May marked a 40-year high.

On Jan. 19, 2021, one day before Joe Biden became president, the national average cost of a gallon of gas was $2.38, according to AAA. A gallon is now $4.80 on average, slightly lower than the all-time national high of $5.01 less than a month ago.

In a Fourth of July video published to Truth Social hours after Trump first, he promised the situation in the country would get better.

“America’s destiny is in our sights. America’s heroes are embedded in our hearts. America’s future is in our hands, and ladies and gentlemen, the best is yet to come,” he said in a voiceover of a patriotic video compilation featuring him in front of Mount Rushmore and visiting veterans.

Trump also made a series of posts Monday criticizing the Jan. 6 committee and Vice Chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming.

“Warmongering and despicable human being Liz Cheney, who is hated by the great people of Wyoming (down 35!), keeps saying, over and over again, that HER Fake Unselect Committee may recommend CRIMINAL CHARGES against a President of the United States who got more votes than any sitting President in history. Even the Dems didn’t  know what she was talking about!” he wrote.

The former president also asked how he could be considered guilty of a crime when he recommended deploying 10,000 troops to protect the Capitol on Jan. 6.

“There would have been no ‘January 6’ if they had followed my recommendation. The Unselect Committee refuses to even mention this totally conclusive and determinative fact. WITCH HUNT!” he stated.

Trump: Senate ‘Gun Control’ bill is ‘first step’ toward Taking Away Firearms

“Republicans, be careful what you wish for!” Trump warned

By Madeleine Hubbard

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that the Senate is pushing a “Gun Control” bill, which will be the “first step” in the movement to confiscate firearms.

“The deal on ‘Gun Control’ currently being structured and pushed in the Senate by the Radical Left Democrats, with the help of Mitch McConnell, RINO Senator John Cornyn of Texas, and others, will go down in history as the first step in the movement to TAKE YOUR GUNS AWAY. Republicans, be careful what you wish for!!!” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

His post comes one day after the Senate voted 64-34 to proceed with the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which will tighten loopholes in federal firearms laws and allocate funding toward mass-shooting prevention.

Other Republicans voiced similar concerns over the legislation, despite the fact that it passed with 14 GOP votes.

“We are being asked to vote tonight to begin debate on a gun proposal whose legislative text was only made available less than an hour ago,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) wrote Tuesday evening on Twitter.

The legislation, which will likely pass before the end of the month, comes in response to the mass shootings at a Buffalo, New York, supermarket, where 10 people died, and at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, where 21 people were killed, including 19 children.

Twitter source Leaks Company Messages; Confirms Shadow Banning

Twitter source Leaks Company Messages; Confirms Shadow Banning

Twitter source leaks company messages appearing to confirm Shadow Banning

Project Veritas: One staffer said, “we can reduce visibility” of tweets

By Madeleine Hubbard

Messages among Twitter employees appear to confirmed the social media giant can “shadow ban” accounts, according to copies of the messages leaked by a source to investigative non-profit Project Veritas.

Shadow banning – also known as “stealth banning” or “ghost banning” – is the alleged practice by a platform of blocking or partially blocking users and/or their content from some part of an online community in way that they will not clearly know but will see a drop off in comments, retweet, “likes” and other user engagement in connection with posts.

The Slack conversation began in the “#social-watercooler” group message when an employee asked, “can we actually shadow ban people,” Project Veritas says.

The names and faces of employees were obscured by Veritas for privacy.

One employee responded with a link to the wikiHow article “How to Check if You Are Shadowbanned on Twitter.” The article explains that shadow banning is when accounts have “dramatic decreases in engagement” if “Twitter down ranks, hides, or block your content from search.”

“LMAO, but we don’t actually do this, right?” another employee asked.

Another employee responded in the Slack chat by saying, “short answer – yes, we can reduce visibility on surfaces.”

One staffer commented, “it depends what your definition of ‘shadowban’ is.”

Project Veritas published the leaked conversation on April 27, two days after billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk secured a deal to purchase Twitter.

The social media platform has been accused of shadow banning conservative accounts.

Project Veritas confirmed Twitter’s efforts to shadow ban accounts in a 2018 investigation.

Shortly before buying Twitter, Musk made a joke about shadow banning on the platform.

“Shadow ban council reviewing tweet,” he wrote, along with a photo of dark hooded figures in response to his tweet making fun of Bill Gates’ weight.

Musk has promised free speech on the platform under his leadership.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage asks why 25th Amendment isn’t invoked for Biden [Video]

Nigel Farage asks why 25th Amendment isn’t invoked for Biden

‘He’s an embarrassment to America’

“It is so obvious this man cannot hold the responsibilities of leading America, let alone the free world,” said the Brexit leader.

By Madeleine Hubbard

Brexit architect Nigel Farage is questioning why people called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked to remove former President Donald Trump but not President Joe Biden, whom Farage called “senile” and an “embarrassment to America.”

While the United States and Great Britain have been close allies for more than 100 years, that relationship changed following Biden’s “catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan,” Farage told “Just the News, Not Noise” on Thursday.

“The question we’ve all been asking,” Farage said, “is, ‘Where is America?’ I mean, Biden said, ‘America’s back.’ America has disappeared.”

Biden’s response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine shows that “bully boy dictators are no longer scared of America,” he told show cohosts John Solomon and Amanda Head.

“I want to promise you one thing, if Trump was still president, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine,” he added.

Farage said Biden “must be the worst president America has ever, ever had.”

Biden should have visited Moscow to talk directly with Putin about the Ukraine invasion, Farage said.

“But let’s be frank, this American president mentally is not up to the job,” he said. “He’s an embarrassment to America. He’s an embarrassment to the free world. He’s just not capable.

“I don’t get it. Whenever Trump said something on the world stage people thought was stupid there were cries in D.C. for the 25th Amendment to be called.

“Nobody is daring to say the 25th should be called when it’s clear that America has a president who [is] … senile. He’s not up to the job.”

Even if Biden were to go to Europe to try and help mend relations, he would not help the situation, Farage said.

“It is so obvious this man cannot hold the responsibilities of leading America, let alone the free world,” he added.

French President Macron to face off against conservative Marine Le Pen again

French President Macron to face off against conservative Marine Le Pen again

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, the Socialist candidate, received less than 2% of the vote.

By Madeleine Hubbard

French President Emmanuel Macron will face off against hard-right leader Marine Le Pen later this month in a runoff election.

With 97% of the votes in, the incumbent Macron won 27.35% of the vote while Le Pen came in second at 23.97%, according to the French Interior Ministry.

Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo, the Socialist candidate, received less than 2% of the vote.

Macron, of The Republic On the Move Party, has served as president since 2017.

“Make no mistake, nothing is decided,” he told supporters on Sunday evening, according to the BBC.

Le Pen celebrated Sunday’s results on Twitter.

“I call on all French people, of all sensitivities, to join this great national and popular gathering that I am carrying!” she wrote.

Le Pen has surged in popularity following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the cost of living increased, the Financial Times reported.

She has been accused of being far-right for her anti-Islam views. Le Pen has said that she would limit immigration and forbid the Muslim veil in public.

“That’s not us,” Macron said. “Make no mistake. This contest is not finished, and the debate we’ll have in the next two weeks will be decisive for our country and for Europe … I want a France rooted in a strong Europe.”

Le Pen has also been skeptical of the European Union and NATO. If she wins, the founder of the National Rally Party promised to restore France’s “prosperity and grandeur.”

Left-wing Jean-Luc Melenchon, who came in third at less than 22%, urged his followers Sunday evening, “You must not give a single vote to Marine Le Pen,” according to the BBC. He did not, however, endorse the current president.

Macron beat Le Pen by about 2 to 1 when they first faced off in 2017.

Trump suing Hillary Clinton, DNC over Russia Collusion Narrative

Trump suing Hillary Clinton, DNC over Russia Collusion Narrative

Trump suing Hillary Clinton, DNC over Russia Collusion Narrative

Trump filed the suit in Florida on Thursday

By Sophie Mann and Madeleine Hubbard

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday sued former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and several other Democrats on the grounds that they attempted to rig the 2016 presidential election by creating a false narrative that tied his campaign to Russia.

“President Trump is going on offense. He’s naming names,” Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington told “Just the News – Not Noise” hours after the lawsuit was first announced.

“He’s going after these liars who tried to rig the 2016 election. And when they failed with the fake Russia collusion hoax, when they failed to stop President Trump from winning the presidency, they used it to spy on him to try to derail his presidency and his administration,” she said.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Florida, attorneys for the former president wrote, “Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.”

Trump, who defeated Clinton in the 2016 election, is alleging “racketeering” and a “conspiracy to commit injurious falsehood,” among other claims. The link between the Trump campaign and Russia that was, in Trump’s estimation, fabricated by the DNC and Clinton campaign, triggered an “unfounded federal investigation” and a “media frenzy.”

“Under the guise of ‘opposition research,’ ‘data analytics,’ and other political stratagems, the Defendants nefariously sought to sway the public’s trust. They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump,” it reads.

“Everyone should go and at least read the introduction to this lawsuit, because it really is a good recap of up until November 3, what was really the biggest political crime in our history,” Harrington told Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon and co-host Amanda Head.

According to the suit, the plan by the Clinton campaign and associated Democrats was to leak to the FBI and media a series of falsified reports alleging connections between the Trump campaign and Moscow. When those reports – examples of which include the famous (and debunked) Steele Dossier – were proven false, operatives and associates of the Clinton camp bugged and hacked Trump Tower in an attempt to manipulate data and show a “back-channel” between Trump and Russia.

The Democrats’ efforts “didn’t work,” Harrington said, “But there was a lot of cost to it. And the lawsuit details $24 million in legal fees. They’re still harassing him.”

The former president is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages. Trump alleges that he was “forced to incur expenses in an amount to be determined at trial, but known to be in excess of twenty-four million dollars ($24,000,000) and continuing to accrue, in the form of defense costs, legal fees, and related expenses.”

Charlie Kirk refuses to delete tweet on transgender Biden appointee

Suspended from Twitter

Twitter labelled the post as “hateful content” and banned him from the platform

By Madeleine Hubbard

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk will not delete his tweet reaffirming biological gender that resulted in his ban from Twitter, the conservative influencer told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Tuesday.

Kirk’s post criticized Rachel Levine, President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services assistant secretary who identifies as a transgender woman. Twitter labeled the post as “hateful content” and banned him from the platform until he deletes the March 15 post.

“It’s basically a hostage situation,” Kirk told Editor-in-Chief John Solomon and co-host Amanda Head.

“We’re not going to delete it. I refuse to bend the knee to Twitter,” said Kirk, who has 1.7 million followers on the platform.

Kirk’s controversial tweet criticized how Levine was dubbed “one of USA TODAY’s Women of the Year.”

“Richard Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man,” Kirk wrote. “He had a wife and family. He ‘transitioned’ to being a woman in 2011, Joe Biden appointed Levine to be a 4-Star Admiral, and now USA Today has named ‘Rachel’ Levine as a ‘Woman of the Year[.]’ Where are the feminists??”

“There’s nothing in here that is inaccurate. There’s nothing in here that is harassing,” Kirk said.

The Turning Point USA founder said he might have deleted the tweet a few years ago, but he has changed his mind since.

“Twitter’s not as important as [it] used to be,” he said. “Not to say Twitter has no importance, but it’s nowhere near the communication tool it used to be.”

Kirk added that on Truth Social, which the Trump Media & Technology Group launched in February, his posts have far more interaction than on Twitter.

Twitter also suspended the The Babylon Bee’s account on Monday after the conservative parody website named Levine its “man of the year.”
