Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker Activates National Guard Over 0.01% of Biden’s Border Crisis Arriving in Illinois

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) is activating the National Guard over 0.01 percent of President Joe Biden’s record-breaking illegal immigration crisis arriving in the sanctuary state via migrant buses sent by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R).

For more than two weeks, Abbott has sent about 500 border crossers and illegal aliens to Chicago, Illinois, which prides itself on being a sanctuary jurisdiction for illegal aliens.

The 500 arrivals account for just 0.01 percent of the estimated five million border crossers and illegal aliens who have crossed the southern border since Biden took office.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) has called the migrant buses from Texas “immoral” and “unpatriotic” as well as “racist and xenophobic.” Those statements come as Lightfoot has relocated many of the arriving border crossers and illegal aliens to the suburbs of Chicago.

Now, Pritzker has called up 75 members of the Illinois National Guard to aid arriving border crossers and illegal aliens. The sanctuary state is expecting 1,000 border crossers and illegal aliens on buses from Texas every week for the next 15 weeks.

“I’m not going to mince words here, the governor of Texas is forcing on New York and [Washington] D.C. and Chicago and potentially other places, a needlessly last minute and complex process, that is a heartless display of politics over people,” Pritzker said in a press conference this week.

Lightfoot, last week, called on Biden to “step up” with “federal support” to aid the sanctuary jurisdiction with the migrant buses.

The migrant buses sent to Chicago are a fraction of what American border communities are forced to sustain with about 6,000 illegal aliens crossings every day.

Recently, in the Del Rio Sector of the Texas-Mexico border, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 13,000 border crossers and illegal aliens — averaging almost 1,900 apprehensions a day in the area — which is about a third of Del Rio’s total population.

Report: Illinois Gov. Pritzker to End State Mask Mandate ‘Before March 1’

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) will announce on Wednesday the end of his statewide mask mandate effective “before March 1,” according to sources with knowledge of the announcement.

NBC 5 Chicago reporter Mary Ann Ahern first reported on the governor’s expected announcement. “@GovPritzker will announce Wednesday he’s dropping #IndoorMaskMandate — except in schools (lawsuit appeal underway) — the effective date before March 1,” Ahern tweeted.

Pritzker joins other Democrat governors who are repealing their mask mandates ahead of the November midterm elections. Pennsylvania and Delaware announced the end of their mask mandates, with New York and Connecticut also weighing the option.

Last September, Pritzker would not say when the statewide mask mandate would end. “I couldn’t give you a date on when we might be able to alleviate some mitigations,” Pritzker said amid rising coronavirus deaths and hospitalizations at the time.

On Tuesday, Illinois House Republican Leader Jim Durkin wrote a letter to Pritzker demanding clarity on the governor’s public health mandates. “Your lack of a plan has forced people to give up hope that they can ever have a normal life in Illinois,” Durkin wrote. “Governor, it has been a long two years, and the people of this state deserve to know what you are doing.”

Pritzker seemingly responded to Durkin’s letter at an event on Tuesday, where he told the crowd to “stay tuned” regarding the end of mask mandates. For Pritzker, hospitalizations are a key marker for lifting the mandates.

According to Chicago-based WGN-TV:

More than 2,600 Illinoisians are currently hospitalized with COVID hospitals, with a few hundred more than when the mask mandate was reinstated in late August. But there are few COVID patients in intensive care and ICU capacity is the highest it’s been in nearly three months.

“Because it’s such a central focus of communities and literally sometimes thousands of people are interacting in a school,” Pritzker said at the event. “We’ve got to be very careful about how we remove the mask mandates.”

Although Pritzker is expected to announce the end of mask mandates, he will reportedly keep the mask mandate in place for schools while litigation is pending.

‘Antifa’ Counter-Protest at March for Life Chicago

Hundreds of pro-life activists gathered in Chicago at Federal Plaza Saturday for the March for Life Chicago rally and march as a group of abortion rights protesters attempted to shout them down.

March for Life Chicago posted photos from the Chicago Tribune depicting the opposing groups.

Andy Ngô, author of the New York Times bestseller Unmasked, identified the abortion rights group as an “Antifa” group that was shouting, “Shut the f**k up!” to the pro-life activists.

“They say being pro-life is fascist,” he noted.

Independent reporter Brendan Gutenschwager tweeted photos as well:

Gutenschwager identified one pro-abortion group as the “antifascist” Revolutionary Communist Party who chanted, “Abortion on demand & without apology!”

Photographer and videographer Alex Kent also reported for the UK’s The Sun the March for Life organization in Chicago attempted to block a shield-bearing group calling themselves Patriot Front from joining them, claiming its members are not part of the pro-life organization:

According to March for Life Chicago, the Tribune reported left-wing Cardinal Blasé Cupich spoke at the pro-life rally, but “was booed by some in attendance during his remarks and was escorted away by security after speaking.”

In January 2021, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the Vatican’s former doctrinal chief, condemned Cupich for his unwillingness to rebuke President Joe Biden’s support for abortion, as Breitbart News reported.

In December Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) signed legislation that repealed the state’s last pro-life law by allowing minor girls to obtain abortions without their parents’ knowledge.

Illinois Lawmakers Send ‘Sexually Charged’ K-12 Sex-Ed Bill to Governor

Illinois legislators passed a bill Friday that would require K-12 public schools in the state that offer sex education to align their curriculum with the National Sex Education Standards (NSES), the creation of organizations that advocate for sex-ed consistent with abortion rights and LGBTQ inclusion.

If Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) signs the bill into law, Illinois will be the first state to align its sex-ed standards with NSES.

Republican lawmakers and some Democrats objected to the explicit content in the standards that would be taught, even to children in elementary and middle school.

“The goal of sex education is to help young people grow into healthier sexual relationships and healthier adults,” said state Rep. Tony McCombie (R), according to NPR. “[The bill] is not age appropriate, it is sexually charged.”

Abortion and LGBTQ activists celebrated the passage of the bill, claiming the type of sex-ed information they condone will help to bring about an end to “bullying, stigmatization, harassment, violence and discrimination,” and even prevent children who feel different from becoming “suicidal.”

The advocates for the NSES said the standards will provide children with “medically accurate and age-appropriate” education, even as the standards state that between grades K-2 children should learn to “define gender, gender identity, and gender role stereotypes.”

Between grades 3-5, the standards say children should learn to “distinguish between sex assigned at birth and gender identity,” “define and explain differences between cisgender, transgender, gender nonbinary, gender expansive, and gender identity,” and “explain that gender expression and gender identity exist along a spectrum.”

Also between grades 3-5, children are required to learn “the potential role of hormone blockers on young people who identify as transgender.”

Creators of the standards also boast they have been updated to include:

  • Continual evolution in language related to gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and sexual identity;

  • Inclusion of power and privilege, conscious and unconscious bias, intersectionality, and covert and overt discrimination, and the principles of reproductive justice, racial justice, social justice, and equity

The NSES were developed by Advocates for Youth, Answer, and the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS).

Since 2015, SIECUS has partnered with abortion industry giant Planned Parenthood and LGBTQ activist groups such as GLSEN and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to lead comprehensive sex-ed programs in schools throughout the country:

“Endorsing organizations” of the NSES include Gender Spectrum, GLSEN, and the Human Rights Campaign, and abortion rights proponent Sister Song: Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.

The Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act (SB0818) passed the state House by a vote of 60-48, and the Senate, on May 20, by a vote of 37-18.

Planned Parenthood of Illinois Action thanked the General Assembly for approving the legislation in a statement:

By developing standards to require inclusive, evidence-based curricula that includes information about healthy relationships, gender identity and sexual orientation, Illinois schools can reduce bullying, stigmatization, harassment, violence and discrimination for all students.

However, Monica Cline, a previous Planned Parenthood sex-ed instructor who became founder and director of It Takes A Family, said in a comment to Breitbart News:

By looking at the standards and resources the National Sex Education Standards provide, states who encourage adoption of this content are advocating for the abuse of our children by exposing our kids to obscene sexual notions and inappropriate ideas for their age. Put simply, they are enticing and grooming our children for sexual activity.

As NPR reported, openly gay state Rep. Kelly Cassidy (D) promoted the adoption of the LGBTQ curriculum, arguing the standards would help to prevent children from feeling ostracized and suicidal.

“For far too long, LGBTQ youth were either invisible or expressly stigmatized, and I remember that — it burned into my soul,” Cassidy said. “As a kid who didn’t understand why I didn’t fit in, who couldn’t define why I felt different, and whose parents were not an option to go to. I wish I had had a teacher I could turn to; I wish I had had a curriculum that didn’t call me unnatural.”

Illinois Rep. Fred Crespo (D) expressed concern that no other state had signed onto the NSES standards.

Additionally, he said, “The thing that bothers me the most is that, I know it’s permissive, but we’re telling schools that if you don’t use these standards you cannot teach sex ed.”

“That concerns me a bit because I think we do need sex ed at our schools,” he added.

Illinois Family Institute referred to the legislation as “the newest manifestation of the creepy desire of Springfield leftists to normalize deviance in children.”

The ministry that promotes traditional marriage and family values also noted:

When seeking to indoctrinate children with leftist sexuality dogma, leftists blather on about “age-appropriateness” and “cultural-appropriateness” as if those terms describe some objective, transcendent, universal criteria rather than socially constructed and imposed leftist “standards.” Both terms are used to include ideas leftists love and exclude (i.e., censor) all ideas leftists hate.

If Pritzker signs the bill into law, parents may still opt their children out of sex-ed classes.

Illinois Gov. Pritzker Blocks Troops from Helping Chicago, Sends Them to D.C. Instead

Illinois Gov. Pritzker Blocks Troops from Helping Chicago, Sends Them to D.C. Instead

Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker has authorized the use of 500 Illinois National Guard members for Washington, DC, claiming there is a “heightened threat environment” in the nation’s Capital.

“The U.S. Department of Defense has asked Illinois to assist federal and local agencies in this continued effort, and Major General Neely and I are ready to ensure that the state of Illinois continues its proud legacy of protecting our democracy,” Pritzker said in a statement on Friday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Without evidence, the billionaire politician blamed “racism” for the need to send Illinois troops to D.C.

“Ultimately, we must root out the dark forces of racism, white supremacy, and disinformation that have created this moment, but until we do that, our extraordinary troops will deploy with honor,” he claimed.

Officials say that the state’s National Guard soldiers, along with a small contingent of Guard airmen, will remain in the Capital until mid-March.

The redeployment comes weeks after the Capitol Building incursion that occurred for a few hours on Jan. 6. That same day, Pritzker also deployed 250 National Guard soldiers to the state capital after unfounded rumors circulated that protesters planned to gather there on Joe Biden’s inauguration day. However, the day came and went and no such gathering occurred.

Gov. Pritzker refused to activate National Guard troops to send to Chicago to tamp down the dozens of very real, destructive Black Lives Matter riots that coursed through the city last year.

Pritzker even rejected calls by President Donald Trump to send in the military to stop the months of violence erupting across the city. Pritzker was one of the first Democrat governors to reject Trump’s call to quell the rioting.

At the time, the governor said that the call for troops to enter Chicago was “wrongheaded.”

At one point, the Illinois governor insisted that Trump would be acting like a “dictator” if he sent troops to Chicago to stop the massive rioting.

The governor never did send any troops to stop the wave after wave of violence that is said to have caused damage exceeding $20 million, according to sources.

Why Is Big Media Hiding That Illinois Has Far More COVID Cases Than Florida? Because Illinois Has A Democrat In Charge And Tighter Lockdowns

Why Is Big Media Hiding That Illinois Has Far More COVID Cases Than Florida? Because Illinois Has A Democrat In Charge And Tighter Lockdowns

COVID-19 cases in the United States are growing, but the media is selectively covering the states with the highest numbers.

On Tuesday, the United States reported there were at least 2,216 new COVID-19 deaths and approximately 178,200 new cases. Some states, despite strict coronavirus mandates and guidelines meant to prevent spread, are suffering from the most cases and deaths. Instead, however, big news seems to be focused on continuing to shame GOP politicians for refusing to completely shut down their states again.

Nearly every week in June and July, mainstream media news outlets singled out and slammed Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis for rising COVID-19 numbers as the state remained largely open and unmasked. Headlines such as “Florida shatters US record for new single-day Covid-19 cases,” “Florida’s governor just can’t seem to get it right on coronavirus,” “Florida Shatters Record For New Coronavirus Cases, Orders Bars To Close,” “Florida shatters records with over 10,000 new COVID-19 cases in single day,” “Disney World reopens even as coronavirus cases soar in Florida and across U.S.,” “In Florida, COVID-19 Death Toll Keeps Rising,” “Florida invited the nation to its reopening — then it became a new coronavirus epicenter,” ran rampant across news websites and broadcast programs.

Months after outlets such as CNN, NPR, the Washington Post, and others continually targeted Florida for increasing coronavirus cases, the corporate media ignored Illinois, which recorded 15,415 cases in just one day. That’s more than Florida ever reported in a single day, yet Florida is singled out for negative news attention.

“This is despite Illinois’ population being 40% lower,” Youyang Gu, creator of a COVID-19 projection website reported.

While Illinois continues to see climbing cases and deaths, outlets such as MSNBC, NPR, and CNN are choosing to hyperfocus on states with Republican leaders such as Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, who have chosen different COVID-19 mitigation techniques.

Instead of noting these significant trends in Illinois, CNN chose to publish another article on Florida, focusing on the fact that case numbers continue to rise after reopening even though daily new deaths in the state are down.

While Illinois enacted mask mandates, closed restaurants, and discouraged people from holiday travel and gatherings, Gu notes that the state is still experiencing an exceptional amount of cases and deaths per capita compared to states with much higher populations such as Florida, California, and Texas.

“We hear a lot of the talk about how the deaths in Florida were ‘preventable’. What about the ones in Illinois?” Gu questioned.

“I don’t want to spark a political debate here. I just hope that more people can recognize that the news we consume online can be inherently biased. They often serve to fuel division (and clicks),” he wrote.

On Thanksgiving, Democrats Demand The Ultimate Family Separation Policy

On Thanksgiving, Democrats Demand The Ultimate Family Separation Policy

More than eight months after “15 days to flatten the curve,” our so-called medical experts, politicos, and pundits are bidding us to avoid our family at all costs over the holidays, lest we die. This Thanksgiving week, family separation is the name of the game, with governors and local authorities implementing onerous restrictions to discourage people from leaving their homes.

“If you are planning to spend Thanksgiving with people outside your household, we urge you to reconsider,” wrote a group of governors in the pages of the Washington Post. These authors included little tyrants such as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, whose lockdown orders arbitrarily outlawed the sale of gardening seeds while allowing patrons to purchase lottery tickets, Gov. Andy Beshear, who ordered that Kentucky police record church attendees’ license plate numbers at Easter services as “the only way we can ensure that your decision doesn’t kill someone else,” and Gov. J.B. Pritzker, whose family violated his own lockdown orders on more than one occasion to travel to their second home in Florida.

Instead, these hypocritical governors insist, “Get together with your family via Zoom to ensure your loved ones stay safe.” Nothing says grateful gathering like a conference call with your kin.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advise the same, qualifying Thanksgiving gatherings as “highest risk,” although the CDC’s own data suggests lockdowns could kill as many people as the Wuhan virus itself.

The media goes right along with all of it, instilling fear and shaming Americans who question them, while also violating health orders themselves and then lying about it. These media elites are already wishing us a very COVID Christmas too, with CNN’s Jake Tapper declaring, “Christmas is probably not going to be possible.”

‘Short-Term’ Is a Myth

“We must make short-term sacrifices for our long-term health,” the governors wrote trying to make their rhetoric more palatable in the Washington Post article. “None of us wants the guilt of gathering and unwittingly spreading this virus to someone we love.”

Nothing about these sacrifices has been “short-term,” however. The March days turned into the summer weeks, which have led to the winter months, which is turning into a full year and more — just gone. The fearmongering has guilted families into objectifying their loved ones, viewing them as threats, and now many of them are gone anyway — dying of cancer, dying of old age, and dying alone. We’ve turned fear into our friend and family into our foe. Is this really best “for our long-term health”?

“Think about your last Thanksgiving and the people you were surrounded by — your parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, neighbors and friends, or the family you have chosen for yourself,” the group of governors urged. “Picture their faces — laughing with you, watching football with you or even arguing with you about politics. As hard as it will be to not see them this Thanksgiving, imagine how much harder it would be if their chairs are empty next year.”

COVID-19 Rhetoric Is Exhausting and Absurd

Americans are exhausted of the rhetoric and are weary of trying to discern the right thing in the highly politicized pandemic. Of course we don’t want to subject our friends and family to danger, and of course we don’t want their chairs to be empty next year — but we are rational actors. We know every single time we gather around the table, it could be the last, pandemic or not. What is “thanksgiving” if not gratitude for the gracious gifts we don’t deserve, including people, with whom our days are numbered? What an awful prospect to think of relinquishing our limited days with family as though time with them next year were a guarantee.

Should we put our trust in the advice of health experts and the elected that have been known to lie and cheat, and hold at arm’s length the people who most give us life lest they kill us? These “experts” are the same people who insist church is more dangerous than mass protests and rioting, and the same politicians who advise you to wear your mask between bites of food.

Is it so much more dangerous to gather with loved ones over a meal than to eat surrounded by strangers at a restaurant? What about our mental health? Is it wise to progress through the cold winter months, as seasonal depression sets in for many people, with a dismissive attitude toward those who should be under our care?

Joe Biden used the same “empty chair” rhetoric during the last presidential debate, warning that we’re headed into a “dark winter.” But are family separation policies and paralyzing fear of a virus really less dark than the possibility of physical death? Shouldn’t we be permitted to make these assessments and take these risks without condemnation? Eliminating all risk goes against all the things American, and shunning community weakens the bonds that make life worth living.

Gather This Thanksgiving

Life is too short to live it in fear of dying. Of course, we should not be reckless, but rather prudent and charitable so we truly can enjoy an abundant Advent season and gather once again next November with gratitude.

For at-risk family members, use this opportunity to find ways to serve them and to demonstrate your affection even though they might not be present at your table this year. Their need for caution doesn’t eradicate their need for community; don’t make yourself feel better by cutting them out of your life and telling yourself it’s for their safety.

For young, healthy family and friends — whose coronavirus recovery rate is north of 99.9 percent — gather, and give thanks. There’s simply no rational reason to isolate yourself.

One public health expert even advised The Federalist that Americans should “have a Thanksgiving or Christmas get-together with no restrictions, but if older people (60+) are going to be present alongside younger people (18-60), be sure to get rapid antigen tests for everyone — especially the young — before the event.” These are reasonable precautions.

The group of governors concluded, “We will get through this together.” But that isn’t true — and it isn’t what they want. This holiday season, they want you to get through it alone. Be smart, but don’t let the petty tyrants keep you away from your loved ones this holiday season. Cherish the time with them because it is fleeting.

Illinois Governor Dodges Question On Thanksgiving Plans To Flee To Florida To Escape Restrictions

Illinois Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker dodged questions Monday about his family plans for the upcoming holiday, claiming he was unaware of Chicago’s latest stay-home orders.

When asked during a press conference whether he’d be in Illinois on Thanksgiving next week, Pritzker left it an open question.

“I don’t know what my plans will be, but I’ll certainly be happy to share,” he said.

When a reporter followed up on another story about the governor’s wife and family already have gone to Florida, Pritzker dismissed it.

“I think you already know we have a place in Florida. So yeah,” said the Illinois governor whose family also reportedly evaded springtime restrictions by hanging out on his equestrian farms in Wisconsin and the Sunshine state.

“Actually, I don’t think there was a travel ban, but it was a discouragement,” he told reporters.

Chicago and the surrounding suburbs went under stricter lockdowns Monday that will persist for the next 30 days, well past Thanksgiving. Residents are being ordered to avoid travel and gatherings with individuals outside their own home.

Pritzker himself has asked residents to keep gatherings “small and virtual, maintaining six feet of distance from others and wearing a mask,” indoors or out.

“We all need to celebrate a bit differently,” Pritzker said.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who gets her hair done in salons she shut down because she goes on television, was more blunt.

“You must cancel the normal Thanksgiving plan,” Lightfoot said last week.

Pritzker’s Illinois Department of Public Health also ordered similar recommendations last week requesting residents to stay home except for “essential activities,” though the rules are non-mandatory. Pritzker threatened that a mandatory stay-home order could arrive in the coming days “if things don’t take a turn.”

Single-day novel cases reached a new high in Illinois last week reaching more than 15,000 on Friday alone, an 87 percent increase over the prior 14 days. Deaths are also rising, with 191 deaths reported Thursday. Although cases are rising to the highest infection rates seen throughout the entire pandemic, deaths remain far lower on average than its deadliest days in May as shown in the chart from the New York Times coronavirus tracker below illustrating Illinois case and death data.
