Sunday Talks, Governor Ron DeSantis Discusses Illegal Alien Crisis, Reckless ICE Policies and Current Legislative Defenses

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the current crisis at the border and how reckless the ICE and Border Patrol policies are by the JoeBama administration.  DeSantis points out the issues with criminal aliens not being deported and how sanctuary cities are a dangerous incentive for more illegal migration.

The Florida governor discusses how lawsuits by Florida are progressing and gives an update on the election reform bill currently going through the Florida Senate.  Of note, DeSantis stresses the importance of signature verification and ID to vote in elections as well as the efforts underway to prohibit ballot-harvesting.  Additionally, DeSantis talks about the battle against multinational corporations influencing legislation and the Big Tech censorship issue.

The governor reemphasizes the intent of Florida law to block vaccination passports and drawing “a line in the sand” based on privacy; while highlighting the effective COVID controls instituted by his administration.   Overall, a strong policy interview, WATCH:

Democrats: Illegal Aliens Are ‘American Heroes’ Who Deserve Amnesty from Joe Biden

A group of House and Senate Democrats is urging President Joe Biden to include amnesty for millions of illegal aliens in an infrastructure package as nearly 17 million Americans remain jobless.

In a letter to Biden, the group of 22 Democrats, including Reps. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) and Ted Lieu (D-CA), as well as Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Alex Padilla (D-CA), ask the White House to add amnesty for at least 5.2 million illegal aliens in any economic relief and infrastructure package.

Illegal aliens holding American jobs, the Democrats write, are a “truly important part of our nation’s critical infrastructure and crucial part of the backbone of our society” and thus “have more than earned” amnesty, which would include eventually securing United States citizenship.

“Essential workers are American heroes — and they have earned the right to become American citizens,” the Democrats write:

The Citizenship for Essential Workers Act directly relates to the priority of rebuilding America’s economic infrastructure and aligns entirely with the administration’s priority on defeating COVID19. If Republicans continue to refuse to advance immigration legislation supported by the overwhelming majority of the American people, the next reconciliation package on jobs and infrastructure should include citizenship for essential workers. Speaker Pelosi has already indicated her support for including immigration legislation in legislative packages advanced through budget reconciliation given the clear “case about the budget implications of immigration,” while the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and 100 members of the Democratic Caucus have also urged the inclusion of a pathway to citizenship for essential workers in COVID-19 relief legislation. The upcoming legislative package on jobs and infrastructure is the best opportunity to recognize and reward the sacrifices and labor of essential workers. [Emphasis added]

Read the full letter here:

Letter Citizenship for Esse… by John Binder

Castro’s amnesty plan would allow illegal aliens taking American jobs in at least 20 different occupations to adjust status to become legal permanent residents, thus securing a green card to remain in the U.S.

From there, those eligible illegal aliens would be able to apply for American citizenship after five years of living in the U.S. on a green card.

Biden, himself, has proposed an amnesty plan that Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) quickly admitted “doesn’t have support” in an interview last month. Biden’s amnesty would bring a foreign population to the U.S. close to the size of California by 2031 — permanently resettling more than 37.3 million foreign nationals in the nation.

Corporate interests and donors have led lobbying initiatives to pressure Washington, D.C., lawmakers to back an amnesty this year. Last week, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Vice President Neil Bradley called amnesty for illegal aliens “critically important.”

A flooded U.S. labor market has been well documented for its wage-crushing side effects, so much so that economist George Borjas has called mass immigration the “largest anti-poverty program” at the expense of America’s working and lower-middle class. The biggest winners are corporations and investors who can keep the cost of labor low and have a steady stream of consumers to buy their products and services.

Other research finds current legal immigration to the U.S. results in more than $530 billion worth of lost wages for Americans.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO), likewise, has repeatedly noted mass immigration cuts Americans’ wages.

In 2013, CBO analysis stated that the “Gang of Eight” amnesty plan would “slightly” push down wages for the American workers. A 2020 CBO analysis stated “immigration has exerted downward pressure on the wages of relatively low-skilled workers who are already in the country, regardless of their birthplace.”

Every year, about 1.2 million legal immigrants receive green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. In addition, 1.4 million foreign nationals get temporary visas to fill U.S. jobs that would otherwise go to Americans.

Biden Administration Returns to Trump-Era Policy of Central American Agreement to Secure Honduras and Guatemala Border

The JoeBama administration are pathetic in their manipulation of policy.

After taking apart the Trump agreement with central American nations (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador) to secure their own northern border the mass migration toward the United States began…. a crisis created.   However, once the crisis turns public opinion against them, the JoeBama administration then proposes to return to the exact same policy President Trump initiated and Biden destroyed.

The White House and the media then herald the return of the Trump agreement as a groundbreaking new policy initiative instituted by JoeBama.  It would be funny, if it were not so ridiculous to watch it in real time.

(CNN) – The Biden administration has secured agreements for Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala to tighten their borders and stem the flow of migration, Special Assistant to the President for Immigration for the Domestic Policy Council Tyler Moran told MSNBC Monday.

“We’ve secured agreements for them to put more troops on their own border. Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala have all agreed to do this. That not only is going to prevent the traffickers, and the smugglers, and cartels that take advantage of the kids on their way here, but also to protect those children,” Moran said.

The Biden administration has struggled to keep up with the influx of migrants coming to the border and as there has been a major spike in the number of migrant children in US custody. (read more)

Sunday Talks, Jim Jordan Discusses His Border Visit and Being Forbidden From Documenting Crisis – ANALYSIS: A Part of The Crisis Story Everyone is Missing

Ohio Representative Jim Jordan appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his visit to the U.S-Mexico border and what he personally witnessed.  Jim Jordan outlines how the JoeBama administration is blocking people from documenting the scale of the crisis and concludes the resulting influx is exactly what the administration wants.

ANALYSIS –  Many people (conservative media and politicians specifically) are misinterpreting the removal of the Biden administration’s Southern Border coordinator, Roberta Jacobson, from office.  Jacobson was not removed from her position for being ineffective, her removal was announced because her goal was successfully accomplished.  [It is frustrating to read THIS STUFF]

Let me be clear… Roberta Jacobson was put into position in January by those in control of the Biden administration specifically to coordinate this mass migration influx.  Her mission was to create the crisis, not to prevent it.  She was put into place to trigger the mass migration.  How do we know this?….

When Roberta Jacobson was Ambassador to Mexico she was working against the policy of the Trump administration.  She was running a covert effort to pipeline Central American immigrants through Mexico into the United States.  Yes, Roberta Jacobson was part of the trafficking network; that is why she was removed from her position in March 2018…  President Trump found out Roberta Jacobson was working with far-left immigration groups against his administration.

When Trump eventually found out what Jacobson was doing in Mexico, he quickly dispatched Jared Kushner to meet with Mexican officials and outline that Jacobson did not represent President Trump and she was fired.  [Remember, this was before AMLO was elected]

FLASHBACK MARCH 2018 –  Jared Kushner was in Mexico Wednesday to repair relations with the United States’ southern neighbor and key trading partner after a tense phone call between Presidents Donald Trump and Enrique Pena Nieto ended recently with the Mexican leader’s canceling a planned visit to America.

But Kushner, Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law who had no government or diplomatic experience before taking office …  has been criticized for not including the outgoing U.S. ambassador in his meetings.

[…] After Wednesday’s meetings, however, it appeared there had been little progress in rescheduling. Mexican officials say both sides agreed that a future meeting will depend on how much progress is made on other issues, including NAFTA, migration, economic cooperation, and security, which would include Trump’s proposal for a border wall.

[…] U.S. Ambassador Roberta Jacobson, a 30-year veteran of U.S.-Latin America policy and top diplomat who has announced her resignation, was not in either of Kushner’s meetings with Videgaray or Pena Nieto, according to a statement and photos released by the Mexican government. She was also not even invited, according to The New York Times. .. (read more)

It must be remembered the spring of 2018 was when President Trump was pushing forward with the USMCA trade agreement to replace NAFTA and the former Mexican government was pushing back hard against it.  President Trump announced he would initiate economic leverage against Mexico including tariffs if they did not comply with closing the NAFTA loopholes and supporting a new trade deal.

Videgaray and Nieto were fighting against President Trump and making threats to flood the U.S. with illegal aliens.  In the background Ambassador Jacobson was working as an inside agent to assist Mexico against President Trump.  Part of that effort by Ms. Jacobson was to organize and trigger the migrant caravan wave that happened in the fall of 2018.

The migrant caravan held a dual purpose of benefit for Ambassador Jacobson and the Mexican government:

(1) The caravan of immigrants was a coordinated ideological effort of the far-left, the open border community.

(2) The caravan of immigrants and the crisis they carried would be used as leverage by Mexican officials against Trump policy in the economic trade negotiations.

♦ In August of 2017 President Trump and Commerce Secretary Ross were discussing their trade efforts within NAFTA and renegotiation with Mexico/Canada on a trilateral basis. However, the U.S. administration said if it doesn’t work, they’d scrap the 3-way NAFTA deal and go one-on-one with individual bilateral agreements.

In response, Mexican Economic Minister Ildefonso Guajardo threatened to flood the U.S. with South American illegal aliens, criminals and gang members as leverage:

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico could pull back on cooperation in migration and security matters if the United States walks away from talks to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Mexican economy minister said in a newspaper report published on Thursday.

“If they do not treat [us] well commercially, they should not expect us to treat them well by containing the migration that comes from other regions of the world and crosses Mexico,” Guajardo said. “Or they should not expect to be treated well in collaboration with security issues in the region.” (LINK)

However, Mexican Minister Ildefonso Guarjardo’s threat was mild compared to a threat in January 2017, when another Mexican official promised to flood the U.S. with South American drugs and gang violence:

♦ In a stunning segment on Fareed Zakaria’s CNN broadcast January 29th, 2017, Mexico’s former foreign minister, Jorge Castaneda, states the Mexican government was willing to counter U.S. President Donald Trump policy by unleashing drug cartels upon the U.S. border.

Watch, and more importantly LISTEN, to his words at 02:10 below (Prompted):

[embedded content]

This was the most politically explosive admission by the Mexican government in the past decade. Even Fareed Zakaria realized what was being threatened and quickly attempted to redirect the conversation.

Mr. Castaneda was openly admitting a willingness to promote drug trafficking. Additionally, Jorge Castaneda is so proud of the threat, he posted a video of the discussion on his own YouTube page.

This was the background battle in 2017.  Mexican officials were working with U.S. State Department officials and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to block President Trump from enforcing immigration limits, border security, building a wall and then proceeding to get rid of NAFTA.  The entire diplomatic corps, and Wall Street group which finds them, were trying to stop President Trump’s initiative.

Trump was waging this economic confrontation against Mexico at the same time he was dealing with North Korea nukes, moving trade policy in Southeast Asia, initiating tariffs against China and coordinating energy independence with peace in the middle-east.  There was so much going on that almost no-one was paying attention to the issues in Mexico…. UNTIL the fall of 2018 when the Central American caravans hit the headlines.

Roberta Jacobson had coordinated the caravans and was fired by Trump in the spring of 2018.  So when Biden hired Jacobson to be the border coordinator in January 2021 for 100 days (note the timeline was not accidental) she was installed specifically to trigger this massive influx of illegal aliens; which is an exact duplication of what she did in 2018 as Ambassador to Mexico.

Jacobson was always going to leave the administration after her successful mission.  It was planned this way.  The only reason she is leaving a little earlier is because she accomplished her task ahead of schedule.  She is leaving early because she did better than JoeBama expected.

Hopefully that clears up the confusion.

New York Will Offer Illegal Aliens COVID Payments Up To $15,600 Each

New York is reportedly going to spend $2.1 Billion on a fund to give illegal aliens COVID relief payments up to $15,600 per person.   Beyond all the initial reactions to illegal aliens gaining seven times as much covid relief as citizen taxpayers, or even getting them at all, one little aspect remains undiscussed.

The only reason New York can afford to do this is because they received a massive amount of bailout support from within the Pelosi-Biden blue state relief effort.

In essence, U.S. taxpayers are subsidizing New York’s ability to pay illegal aliens $15,000 each.  Let that sink in…

New York Times – […] after a sweeping move by lawmakers this week, New York will now offer one-time payments of up to $15,600 to undocumented immigrants who lost work during the pandemic. The effort — a $2.1 billion fund in the state budget — is by far the biggest of its kind in the country and a sign of the state’s shift toward policies championed by progressive Democrats.

[…] Most Democrats would not speak publicly about fault lines in their party, but internal clashes emerged on social media on Tuesday as lawmakers squabbled about eligibility and traded personal insults.

New York’s fund dwarfs a similar relief program enacted in California, where officials set up a $75 million cash assistance program last year that gave undocumented immigrants a $500 one-time payment on a first-come, first-served basis.

[…] Undocumented workers could receive up to $15,600, the equivalent of $300 per week for the last year, if they can verify that they were state residents, ineligible for federal unemployment benefits and lost income as a result of the pandemic.

Others who can prove at least their residency and identity, and provide some work documentation, could be eligible for a lower sum up to $3,200. (read more)

New York cannot put the kids back in school… can’t take care of the citizen homeless…. cannot pay its own bills without a federal bailout, and now takes $2.1 billion and gives it to illegal aliens.  Good grief.

More Fake Hate – Black Leftist College Student Admits to Drawing Racist Graffiti to Stir up Racial Strife and Enhance Racial Animosity

Fake hate crimes are seemingly more prevalent than actual hate crimes now as victimhood is a currency for glorification.  A BLACK student at Albion College in Michigan now admits to writing racist graffiti.   The school previously launched an investigation and contacted the FBI for assistance.

With the Fake Hate exposed, now the school is downplaying the events in a misguided, politically correct effort to heal the student body. “College officials are encouraging members of the community to care for one another and lean on faculty, staff and community members who are supporting them.”  In other words, stand in your safe space because the need for your safe space is important, even though the need for your safe space was false.

ALBION, MI — Albion College and the Albion Department of Public Safety say a student is responsible for racist graffiti found in a dorm last weekend.

Albion police brought the 21-year-old Black male in for questioning on April 6, according to Chief Scott Kipp. The student admitted to creating most of the graffiti, and video evidence from Albion’s Campus Safety Department confirms the statements made by the student, Kipp said.  (read more)

CBP Statistics Released – Agents Took 172,331 Illegal Aliens Into Custody in March, Then Released Them

The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) has released the statistics from March apprehensions at the southern U.S. border and the numbers are stunning.   More than 172,000 aliens crossed into the country illegally, approximately ten percent were unaccompanied minors (18,890), the rest were intact families.  [Source Data Here]

The mass influx, by all accounts an intentionally driven invasion, is the largest mass migration of illegal aliens into the United States in over 20 years.  The border patrol is overwhelmed and Homeland Security facilities are beyond capacity to control the crisis.  JoeBama’s phase two effort to “fundamentally transform” the United States is well underway.

WASHINGTON POST – […] The total included 18,890 teens and children who arrived without parents, a record quantity that overwhelmed U.S. shelter capacity and produced crisis-level crowding inside government border tents. The March statistics from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show the fastest-growing group were members of family units: 52,904 were taken into custody in March, up from 19,246 in February.

The increase last month was so large that it did not fit on the y-axis of the CBP chart that tracks changes in monthly enforcement data. The figures confirm preliminary data reported by The Washington Post and other news organizations last week.

President Biden last month described the surging numbers as consistent with historic seasonal trends, but the last time the U.S. Border Patrol made more arrests was March 2001. (read more)

Texas Governor Greg Abbott Orders Texas Rangers to Investigate Joe Biden Detention Facility for Sex Crimes Against Children

There is no reasonable doubt illegal alien children are being transported across the southern border to engage in the illegal act of child sex trafficking.  We saw the same issues in 2014 during the previous Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) influx.  The massive surge of child trafficking in the past three months is directly the result of Joe Biden facilitating the transport of children by Mexican cartels.  This is a big business.

In a replay of the same 2014 situation, we now hear of Joe Biden detention facilities where children are being raped and sexually assaulted while in the care and custody of Homeland Security officials.  The children are then transported to custodial HHS “contractors” who, by the changed standards of the Biden administration, do not have to undergo FBI background checks.

Today Texas Governor Greg Abbott demanded Joe Biden close the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio where 1,300 children are being housed, and numerous reports of sexual assault are ongoing.  In addition Governor Abbott has instructed the Texas Rangers to immediately begin an investigation of the facility and the claims of child sexploitation amid the vulnerable minors.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) did not immediately respond to questions after Abbott’s announcement.

Texas, Louisiana Sue Biden Administration for ‘Sanctuary Country’ Orders Freeing Illegal Aliens into U.S.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry (R) have filed suit against The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for “sanctuary country” policies that prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting, detaining, and deporting most illegal aliens.

In February, top DHS officials announced sanctuary country policies that prevent ICE agents from arresting and deporting about 9-in-10 illegal aliens who would otherwise be deported.

These policies require that ICE agents only prioritize arrest and deportation for illegal aliens who have been recently convicted of aggravated felonies, terrorists, or known gang members. As a result, convicted illegal alien felons are being released into American communities.

Subsequently, Florida, Montana, and Arizona have filed lawsuits against the Biden administration, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has directed state agencies to alert local law enforcement every time a criminal illegal alien is released into their community due to the orders.

Paxton and Landry have filed a similar lawsuit to that of Florida, Montana, and Arizona, arguing that the Biden orders are ensuring that criminal illegal aliens are being “released in local communities” in Texas and Louisiana.

The lawsuit states:

The Biden Administration is refusing to take custody of criminal aliens despite federal statutes requiring it to do so. Instead, Defendants have issued and implemented unlawful agency memoranda that allow criminal aliens already convicted of felony offenses to roam free in the United States. Such aliens belong in federal custody, as Congress required. [Emphasis added]

Federal law requires Defendants to take custody of many criminal aliens, including those with final orders of removal, those convicted of drug offenses, and those convicted of crimes of moral turpitude. By refusing to take these criminal aliens into custody, Defendants have disregarded non-discretionary legal duties. [Emphasis added]

“The President’s refusal to enforce the law only worsens an already dire border crisis,” Landry said in a statement. “Law and order must prevail; dangerous and violent criminal aliens must not be allowed to roam free in our communities.”

The lawsuit is asking a federal judge to rule that these policies violate the Administrative Procedure Act and federal immigration law. The plaintiffs also argue that DHS violate its duty under a legally binding agreement to consult with those states before attempting to change this type of policies. Finally, the lawsuit also argues that these policy changes are unconstitutional.

The lawsuit is asking a federal judge to prevent the Biden administration from enforcing the orders and rule that they are a violation of federal immigration law.

Paxton said in a statement:

President Biden’s outright refusal to enforce the law is exacerbating an unprecedented border crisis. By failing to take custody of criminal aliens and giving no explanation for this reckless policy change, the Biden Administration is demonstrating a blatant disregard for Texans’ and Americans’ safety.

Florida’s lawsuit against the Biden administration revealed seven cases where convicted illegal alien felons, in prison for burglary, cocaine trafficking, grand theft auto, heroin trafficking, credit card fraud, and money laundering had either been released into communities or are going to be released thanks to the Biden orders.

The case is Texas  v. United States, No. 6:21-cv-00016 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Watch: Illegal Aliens End Hunger Strike After Winning $2.1B in Taxpayer-Funded Aid from Andrew Cuomo

Illegal aliens are ending their 23-day hunger strike after successfully lobbying New York state Democrats and Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to provide them with billions in taxpayer-funded aid.

While more than a million jobs have been lost in New York and an estimated 80,000 New York businesses may not make it to the end of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, Cuomo and state Democrats will provide $2.1 billion in stimulus checks and unemployment-style benefits to nearly 200,000 illegal aliens.

In comparison, as Breitbart News reported, small businesses devastated by the pandemic are receiving just $1 billion in tax credits and grants — $1.1 billion less than illegal aliens in the state.

Many illegal aliens who stand to benefit from the aid are ending the 23-day hunger strike they started last month, eating a meal at a victory rally on Wednesday.

Previous estimates suggested illegal aliens could receive up to $28,600 a year thanks to the taxpayer-funded benefits approved by Cuomo. Weekly, illegal aliens could receive $500. For those unemployed since March 2020, illegal aliens could receive, on average, $12,600.

New York, and particularly New York City, has been ravaged by Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio’s (D) economic lockdown measures that have now been in place for more than a year. Historic venues, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and local neighborhood spots have had to close their doors for good as a result of the lockdowns.

Those forced to close include The Roosevelt hotel in Midtown East, which opened in 1924; the Copacabana nightclub, which opened in 1940; The Paris Cafe, which opened in 1873; and Empire Coffee & Tea, which opened in 1908, among hundreds of others.
