NY Times Blames GOP Governors for ‘Causing Havoc’ by Busing Border Crossers to Democrat Sanctuary Cities

The New York Times is blaming Republican governors for “causing havoc” by  busing border crossers welcomed by the Biden administration to Democrat sanctuary cities.

As Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) continue busing border crossers and illegal aliens to Democrat sanctuary cities, the Times published a piece titled “GOP Governors Cause Havoc by Busing Migrants to East Coast” where Republicans are seemingly blamed for President Joe Biden’s expansive Catch and Release operation.

The Times reports:

A political tactic by the governors of Texas and Arizona to offload the problems caused by record levels of migration at the border is beginning to hit home in Washington, as hundreds of undocumented migrants arriving on the governors’ free bus rides each week increasingly tax the capital’s ability to provide emergency food and housing. [Emphasis added]

With no money and no family to receive them, the migrants are overwhelming immigrant nonprofits and other volunteer groups, with many ending up in homeless shelters or on park benches. Five buses arrived on a recent day, spilling young men and families with nowhere to go into the streets near the Capitol. [Emphasis added]

About 15 faith and community-based groups in Washington have opened their doors to the migrants, offering them meals, showers and hygiene items during daylight hours. But the increase in the frequency of buses, from two to four a day to now sometimes eight, has depleted donations and exceeded capacity, and many volunteers have contracted Covid-19, said Ms. Scherff. [Emphasis added]

As Breitbart News exclusively reported, migrant buses from Texas have started arriving at New York City’s Port Authority near the New York Times building. One bus that arrived on Friday was filled with mostly single male adults who have no ties to the United States.

The number of border crossers and illegal aliens that sanctuary jurisdictions like Washington, D.C. and New York City have had to absorb pales in comparison to the levels experienced by American border communities.

Since April, for example, Abbott has sent over 6,200 border crossers and illegal aliens to Washington, D.C. Ducey has likewise sent about 1,000 since May. Compare that roughly 7,200 figure to the 7,100 border crossers and illegal aliens who inundate American border communities every day for months as a result of Biden’s Catch and Release agenda.

That operation has transformed the U.S.-Mexico border into a checkpoint for border crossers and illegal aliens where they are apprehended, briefly detained, and then sent on their way with work permits, and sometimes cellphones, into American communities.

Soon, the Biden administration will entice foreign nationals to make the often-deadly journey to the southern border by providing government-issued identification cards so they can more freely travel throughout the U.S. interior and access public benefits.

From February 2021 to May 2022, the Biden administration released over a million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. The administration has yet to reveal how many were released in June and July.

Feds: New York Times Illegally Sought to Stop Employees from Unionizing

The New York Times Company illegally deployed union-busting practices against employees to prevent support for the corporation’s tech union, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) alleges this week.

The media corporation, worth more than $1 billion, was hit with union-busting accusations this week in regards to the New York Times Tech Guild — a group of about 650 Times tech employees who unionized in April 2021 but whom the Times has refused to recognize.

According to Reuters, the NLRB accuses the Times of violating federal labor law when executives told employees in May 2021 that they were not allowed to show support for the Times Tech Guild during a virtual meeting.

An initial complaint from the Communications Workers of America’s NewsGuild was made with the NLRB in June 2021.

In a statement, Times Vice President of Communications Danielle Rhoades Ha said the media corporation “strongly disagree with the union’s allegations about the supervisory status of certain technology employees and welcome the opportunity to explain our position to the board.”

The latest complaint against the Times will be used at a March trial.

Despite the union-busting accusations, the New York Times has proclaimed for decades to back efforts by union workers. In September 2021, for instance, the Times ran a piece that chronicled the struggle that a number of working and middle class Americans face when trying to organize a union at their workplaces.

NY Times Coaches Joe Biden on How to Give $450K Payouts to Border Crossers

The New York Times is seemingly giving advice to President Joe Biden’s administration on how to provide potentially $450,000 payouts to border crossers subjected to former President Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy.

Biden’s Departments of Justice (DOJ), Homeland Security (DHS), and Health and Human Services (HHS) are working to settle with a number of border crossers represented by the ACLU, who claim they have suffered trauma as a result of the Zero Tolerance policy.

As part of the settlement, attorneys with the DOJ, DHS, and HHS are considering a plan that would give each border crosser about $450,000 and family units about $1 million. The total cost of the payouts would reach $1 billion.

In a piece by Times reporters Jeremy Peters and Miriam Jordan, conservatives are portrayed as “seizing on premature news of potential $450,000 payments” while the Biden administration attempts to reach a settlement with border crossers.

Biden, the Times suggests, would be smart to settle with border crossers because they claim such a deal will save American taxpayers money and avoid an awkward situation for the White House:

But there remained the question of compensating the families for the damage done. “There is no amount of money that can undo the harm that being separated for months — and in some cases, years, if parents were deported — caused our clients,” said Bree Bernwanger of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights in San Francisco, who is representing a number of families. “But, under the law, if the government hurts people, commits a torturous action, it has to be accountable for that harm.” [Emphasis added]

Anyone wronged by the United States can bring claims against the government, regardless of that person’s nationality, and the migrants have that right to due process. As a result, settling with the families as a group could actually save the government, experts said, by sparing it the expense of fighting hundreds of legal cases one by one — and it could also spare the Biden administration the awkwardness of having to defend, in court, a policy that it disavowed. [Emphasis added]

While seemingly coaching Biden on how best to handle the payouts to border crossers, the Times paints Republicans and conservatives as having “erupted at the potential figure” and even spotlight the initial government official who leaked the $450,000 figure to the Wall Street Journal.

“It was leaked by a government official, apparently out of a desire to put a public spotlight on the payments and bring the number down, according to people familiar with the negotiations, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations,” the Times reports.

Though the Times attempts to portray the issue as being one solely of concern to Republicans in Washington, D.C., opinion polls have repeatedly shown that American adults, by majorities, oppose the payouts.

About 63 percent of Americans told CBS News/YouGov pollsters that they are opposed to the payouts, including 64 percent of swing voters, and even 4-in-10 voters who supported Biden against Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

Polls from Rasmussen Reports and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) have shown similar results wherein a majority of Americans, including likely swing voters, oppose the payouts.

A Trafalgar Group poll from November revealed that nearly 46 percent of Democrats oppose the payouts, as well as more than 88 percent of Republicans. In total, nearly 7-in-10 of all American voters said they oppose the payouts, including 67.5 percent of swing voters.

Establishment Media Blasted for Labeling Waukesha Massacre a ‘Parade Crash’

CBS News, the Associated Press (AP), the Washington Post, and various other media outlets have been taking serious heat on social media for labeling the horrific attack in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a “parade crash.”

On Sunday, suspect Darrell E. Brooks Jr. allegedly plowed an SUV into crowds of people attending the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing six people, including one child, and wounding at least 62 others. According to authorities, Brooks’ alleged act was “intentional” and occurred shortly after a domestic disturbance incident. Police were not in pursuit of the suspect at the time of the alleged attack, contrary to early reports.

Despite all of those facts, CBS News decided to label the incident a “parade crash” when covering Brooks’ Tuesday court appearance where he was charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

“The man accused of deadly Christmas parade crash in Waukesha, WI makes his first court appearance,” CBS News announced.

David Begnaud, lead national correspondent for CBS News, also repeated the “parade crash” label when announcing the sixth confirmed fatality – eight-year-old Jackson Sparks.

A headline for CBS News also labeled Darrell Brooks the “parade crash suspect”:

The Associated Press repeated the same label, referring to Brooks as a “parade crash suspect.”

The far-left Washington Post had not one but two headlines describing the attack as an SUV slamming into people with no mention of attack or massacre.

“Child is sixth to die after SUV slammed into parade in Wisconsin, prosecutor says,” read one WaPo headline.

“Waukesha Christmas parade crash: Five victims identified; driver fleeing knife fight, authorities say,” read another headline.

Sky News, ABC News, The Hill, NPR, and CNN also labeled the attack a “parade crash.”

Needless to say, the comments came fast and furiously, denouncing the labels for inexplicably minimizing the severity of Sunday’s events.

New York Times Faces Backlash for Politicizing American Flag, ‘If Flag Offends You, Move Elsewhere’

The New York Times is facing backlash after politicizing Old Glory on Saturday by suggesting “flying the American flag from the back of a pickup truck or over a lawn is increasingly seen as a clue… to a person’s political affiliation.”

Within the Time’s article, entitled, “A Fourth of July Symbol of Unity That May No Longer Unite,” the Times acknowledged “Supporters of former President Donald J. Trump have embraced the flag so fervently” that “many liberals… worry that the left has all but ceded the national emblem to the right.”

The article continues, “What was once a unifying symbol — there is a star on it for each state, after all — is now alienating to some, its stripes now fault lines between people who kneel while ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ plays and those for whom not pledging allegiance is an affront.”

The Times notes, however, that “70 percent of Americans say the flag makes them feel proud,” and “At its 1777 inception, the flag’s very design signified unity, the joining of the 13 colonies.”

“Politicizing the American flag is thus a perversion of its original intent,” the Times admitted.

Jack Posobiec tweeted, “Prayers up for all the NY Times reporters who have to endure this weekend full of American flags.”

Steve Guest trolled the Times by tweeting a flag gif and writing, “CC: New York Times.”

Mike Hahn tweeted the Times is “seemingly admitting that the GOP is the party of the American flag.”

Erick Erickson said, “If the American flag offends you, move elsewhere.”

Joe Borelli took aim the the Times by sarcastically tweeting, “Flying your flag is offensive you guys.”

Ryan Saavedra suggested that “Only scum have a problem with the American flag.”

Jerry Dunleavy wrote, “The American flag belongs to all Americans of goodwill. Don’t let your politics blind you. Celebrate America. Enjoy the Fourth. And let’s keep this great experiment going.”

Logan Hall tweeted the “NYT seethes at the thought of pickup trucks flying the flag.”

Kamala Harris Facing White House Sabotage as Establishment Media Lays Out Pete Buttigieg’s Path to Presidency

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing White House sabotage as the establishment media lays out Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg’s path to the presidency.

With Harris’s history of “mistreatment of employees and dissent” before entering the White House, the establishment media has begun reporting on the infighting and “sabotage” impacting the office of the Vice President.

“It’s a whisper campaign designed to sabotage her,” Biden’s senior adviser Cedric Richmond said, admitting Friday to the Hill the infighting is real.

Axios reported Friday Harris’s aides are panicked that she is “fucking up” and perhaps “shouldn’t be the heir apparent” for 2024’s presidential race because she “could not defeat whomever the Republican Party puts up.”

On Wednesday, a White House staffer told Politico that Harris’s aides “are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment.”

“It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—,” one aide said.

Other White House aides told Axios Harris’s office is a “shitshow” with “poorly-managed… people who don’t have long-term relationships with her,” an overall “operation sometimes visibly out of sync with Biden’s.”

The establishment media additionally wrote Friday, “2024 is the elephant in the room… While Biden aides overwhelmingly believe he’ll be the Democratic nominee, they also know he’d be 81 when seeking re-election.”

But “many Democrats, including some current senior administration officials, are concerned she [Harris] could not defeat whomever the Republican Party puts up — even if it were Donald Trump.”

Enter stage right Transportation Secretary Buttigieg, who, as previous Mayor of South Bend, was unable to fix the city’s pot holes; a pizza company in 2019 had to repair them for Mayor Pete.

But while the establishment media largely ignored that story, they published a profile piece June 8 on Buttigieg that plotted his path to the presidency that would involve him replacing incumbent President Joe Biden.

As Breitbart News reported, Atlantic magazine writer Edward-Isaac Dovere wrote the glowing report about Buttigieg’s opportunity to gather support for a massive “infrastructure” spending bill that redefines traditional infrastructure to include elder care and electric vehicles.

In the story, the Atlantic laid out Buttigieg’s potential path to the presidency in 2024:

Here’s the winner of the 2020 Iowa caucus, living out his grand political plan to … how exactly would it work? Something like: He takes an inherently snoozer job as a low-ranking Cabinet official, spends a few years quietly kissing up to mostly forgettable members of Congress with talk about railroads and broadband, and going on TV to defend the administration.

Along the way, he counts on Biden not to run again and Kamala Harris not to emerge as Biden’s natural heir. If everything comes together perfectly, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, becomes the first president since Herbert Hoover to have come out of the Cabinet.

“For now, though, Buttigieg is the public point man for the infrastructure bill,” Atlantic concluded.

In March, Breitbart News reported Yahoo News, an establishment media outlet, asserted Buttigieg was promoting the infrastructure proposal and boosting “his own brand in the process:”

First and foremost, he’ll be the administration’s salesman, making the case to Republican governors and mayors that supporting the infrastructure plan will be in their best interests. He has also pledged to turn the Transportation Department into an unlikely crucible of progressive policy, vowing when he first came to Washington that the agency would “rise to the climate challenge.” He has also promised to apply an “equity lens” to infrastructure projects.

National infrastructure, racial equity and climate change are an ambitious portfolio for the young secretary. They also sound like the sturdy pillars of a Democratic presidential campaign, something Buttigieg won’t talk about but that is not lost on his former staffers.

“He gets to be Build Back Better,” a former presidential campaign staffer told Yahoo, referring to Biden’s 2020 campaign slogan.

“He gets blank checks. He can tie himself to feel-good projects coming out of the administration,” the person praised.

On Tuesday, NNY360 reported high praise for the Secretary, who “drew applause from press conference attendees when he said he wanted locals to work on the infrastructure projects.”

The Transportation Secretary was even invited on ABC’s The View this past week, where co-host Joy Behar tossed Buttigieg a slow pitch.

“I’m going to throw my question out and ask you, what about climate change?” she simply asked.

“There’s no time to argue about whether it’s real. It’s happening, and it’s incredibly dangerous,” Buttigieg alleged.

Establishment Media Admits ‘Biden Has Struggled to Find Footing’ on Border Crisis as Trump Arrives to Inspect Wall

The “Biden administration has… struggled to find its footing” on the border crisis, establishment media admitted Wednesday.

“In the early months of his presidency, Biden’s team stumbled with a surge of unaccompanied minors crossing the border, as shelters became overwhelmed and officials strained to process the influx of children,” the Washington Post reported.

The Post then slammed the administration for not rescinding “the Trump-era public health rule that allows the United States to expel migrants, including people seeking asylum, during the coronavirus pandemic.”

But the Post did defend President Joe Biden’s approach to immigration, claiming, “His administration canceled construction contracts for further walls at the border.”

Former President Trump will visit the the border wall Wednesday on an official visit with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), as there was nearly a 700 percent increase of migrant crossing since last May.

Trump will also receive a security border briefing with Texas state officials before he attends a town hall on Fox News.

The establishment media’s slamming of Biden’s border crisis comes amid sinking poll numbers for the administration on immigration.

A poll on Monday indicated 55 percent of Americans believe Biden should have continued former Trump’s southern border policies, such as the “Remain in Mexico” policy.

Another poll released June 28 suggested 57 percent of Texan voters disapprove of Biden’s handling of the border crisis after Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to the state on Friday to inspect the border 800 miles away from the crisis region.

And on June 24, a poll revealed 41 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the immigration crisis.

Each year, four million young Americans enter the workforce. But they are forced by their government to compete against a growing population of illegal migrants, one million new legal immigrants, and the resident workforce of roughly two million temporary guest workers.

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. This opposition is multiracial,  cross-sexnon-racistclass-basedbipartisanrationalpersistent, and recognizes the solidarity Americans owe to each other.

The voter opposition to elite-backed economic migration coexists with support for legal immigrants and some sympathy for illegal migrants. But only a minority of Americans — mostly leftists — embrace the many skewed polls and articles pushing the 1950’s corporate “Nation of Immigrants” claim.

Democrats, Establishment Media Crushed by Senate Republicans Blocking Elections Takeover Bill

Democrats and the establishment media were crushed Tuesday by Senate Republicans’ filibuster of a bill that would hand the federal government control of local elections by canceling voter ID and funding political campaigns with tax money.

Reporter Jake Sherman of NBC News tweeted upon the defeat that “McConnell uses the ‘language and the logic’ of the southern [Democrat] senators in the 60s when it came to voting rights.”

Sahil Kapur from NBC News begrudgingly tweeted that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who voted for the measure, continues to  firmly support the “60-vote [filibuster] threshold. ‘I think y’all know where I stand on the filibuster.’ He adds: ‘The filibuster is needed to protect democracy.’”

Maggie Hassan (D-NH) attempted to divert attention from the radical measures of the bill and stated the failed measure would instead benefit billionaires and in turn make climate change worse.

Schumer said after the devastating blow there are more options on the table for the federal government to destroy election integrity.

“We have several, serious options for how to reconsider this issue and advance legislation to combat voter suppression,” he explained in his terms. “We are going to explore every last one of our options.”

Vice President Kamala Harris, who went down to the Senate to inspect the proceedings, was so displeased by the outcome she did not take questions from the establishment media.

“The fight is not over,” she said without laughing.

And before the vote, perhaps sensing the Republican stampede, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pressed President Joe Biden for the failure: “The president needs to lead out front and be very vocal on this issue.”

The details of the Democrat inspired legislation are as follows:

  • Federalize control over congressional elections;
  • Declare that standard state and local maintenance of elections systems, such as purging ineligible voters from voter rolls, limiting vote-by-mail, requiring voter ID, and establishing rules against felons voting, would erode the right to vote;
  • Restrict lawsuits against the rules in S. 1 to the federal court system, which is, coincidentally, favorable to Democrats;
  • Establish online and automatic voter registration;
  • Protect illegal immigrants from prosecution if they vote;
  • Establish same-day voter registration;
  • Register minors to vote;
  • Mandate early voting;
  • Establish nationwide vote-by-mail without a voter ID; and
  • Allow ballots to be counted ten days after Election Day.
