GOP Representative Lauren Boebert set the House of Representatives on fire with her comments about Democrats’ past inappropriate actions.
After GOP Rep. Paul Gosar was censured and stripped of his committees over a meme, Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert had something to say.
If Gosar’s actions in sharing a meme are “inappropriate” and worthy of censure, shouldn’t the far-worse actions by Democrat representatives also receive the same treatment? Lauren Boebert thinks so.
In her minute-long speech, the Colorado congresswoman said that Gosar’s removal was “a dumb waste of the House’s time,” and pointed out a few “inappropriate actions” committed by Democratic representatives that are still allowed to hold committee positions.
“Thank you, madam speaker. Democrat policies are so pathetic and have done so poorly that the left has nothing left to do but to troll the internet looking for ways to get offended, and try to target members and strip them of their committees,” Boebert began.
“This is a dumb waste of the house’s time. But since the speaker has designated the floor to discuss members inappropriate actions, shall we? The jihad squad member from Minnesota has paid her husband — and not her brother-husband, the other one — over $1 million in campaign funds. This member is allowed on the foreign affairs committee while praising terrorists,” she continued.
“A Democrat chairwoman incited further violence in the streets outside of a courthouse. And then the cherry on top. My colleague and three-month presidential candidate from California who is on the intelligence committee, slept with a Chinese spy. Let me say that again. A member of Congress who receives classified briefings was from sleeping with the enemy. This is unacceptable,” she concluded.
