Here it Comes…Democrats Make VERY Loud and Vocal Threat

The Senate voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to be a justice in the United States Supreme court. Democrats in Washington strongly apposed the vote coming just days before the presidential election.

They insisted the President and Senate should wait until after the election, obviously hoping for a Democratic victory. Barrett is President Trump’s third justice appointed to the Supreme Court.

Chuck Schumer condemns vote

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on September 18th after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 87-years-old. Ginsburg was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton back in 1993 and served on the Supreme Court for more than 27 years. She was a hero to many on the Left and a strong supporter of abortion rights as well as gender equality.

Ginsburg’s death suddenly put Trump in the position to nominate a new justice to replace her. The Left was outraged by his quick action to choose a nominee just days after Ginsburg’s passing.

Trump had already nominated two justices to the court. Neil Gorsuch in 2017 and Brett Kavanaugh in 2018. The third Trump nominated justice, Amy Coney Barrett, would give the highest court in the country a 6-3 Conservative majority for the foreseeable future. A major victory for President Trump and the Republican party.

President Trump was surprised to hear about Ginsburg’s death. He was on the campaign trail at the time, just finishing up one of his Keep America Great rallies when reporters told him the news. You can see the President’s touching reaction in the video below.

Democrats consider packing court

The Democrats did everything in their power to stall the nomination of Barrett, calling it unconstitutional and immoral for the President to choose a justice during an election year. Some even claimed Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish was for the President to wait until after the election to choose a replacement.

Well, someone should inform the Lefties that the Constitution says nothing about a “dying wish.” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told reporters, “My colleagues may regret this for a lot longer than they think.”

Of course it’s not unconstitutional. In fact, the US Constitution specifically states that the President is to nominate a justice and the Senate is to vote to confirm. The Left is just bitter because the Republicans currently control the White House and the Senate.

So they can complain all they want and make fools out of themselves during the hearings but the confirmation vote still moved forward. The Senate voted 52-48 in favor of nominating Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

In a statement, Nancy Pelosi said “The President’s Supreme Court manipulation threatens the very values and rights that define and distinguish our nation: a woman’s constitutional right to make her own medical decisions, the rights of LGBTQ Americans, the right of workers to organize and collectively bargain for fair wages, the future of our planet and environmental protections, voting rights and the right of every American to have a voice in our democracy.”

Now the Left is considering adding more justices to “pack the court” in a desperate attempt to outweigh the Conservative majority. Their insatiable hunger for power and control over the country knows no bounds. The fight for America continues.
