Busch Beer launches alcohol-free Dog Brew
Beer lovers now have the chance to enjoy a cold one with man’s best friend.
Busch Beer announced the release of its Dog Brew on Wednesday. The canine cocktail is an alcohol-free bone broth that features a “dog-friendly flavor and nutrients that dogs can enjoy before a long hike or a hard day of play at the park,” the company said in a news release.
The Dog Brew, which comes in an orange Busch can with a bone logo on the front, includes ingredients such as bone-in pork butt, whole corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric, and ginger. The “beer” is being sold in four-packs online for $9.99.
“After a long day, there’s nothing quite like having a Busch with a friend, and with so many new pet owners across America this year, we wanted to create a brew to give our fans a chance to share a Busch brew with their ‘best friend,’” said Daniel Blake, vice president of value brands at Anheuser-Busch.
