Tucker Carlson Notes the Era of Great Pretending, and Why Truth Teller Giorgia Meloni Won Election in Italy

Tucker Carlson used his opening monologue tonight to discuss the era of The Great Pretending, the disconnect between the ideology driven goals of the politicians and the people they are supposed to represent.

Using Giorgia Meloni as an example of a person who refused to play the pretending game, Carlson notes how Meloni won an easy victory by speaking plain truth to the Italian electorate.  WATCH:

NYC: The Purge of Teachers

NYC: The Purge of Teachers

Why would NYC push experienced teachers out of the classroom in the middle of a teacher shortage?

In the middle of a teacher shortage, New York City has axed almost 2000 teachers and classroom aides for not being vaccinated.

It’s madness. And you have to ask yourself why.

The vaccine mandate for teachers took effect from October 29, 2021. Unvaccinated staff were given until September 5, 2022 to be vaccinated or else be “deemed to have voluntarily resigned”.

Voluntarily resigned is, of course, a euphemism for “sacked”.

Booted

As a result, a couple of thousand experienced teachers and aides, all of them perfectly healthy, have been forced out of the education system, with schools unable to replace them.

It makes no sense.

We know that children are at virtually no risk from the virus.

We know that the Covid vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission of the virus.

We also know the shot can cause serious, even deadly, side effects.

So why this intransigent insistence of no jab, no job?

One only conclude that vaccine mandates are now not about science or health. They are about ideological purity.

To put it bluntly, it’s an ideological purge.

We went from “two weeks to flatten the curve” to “show me your papers” in less than 12 months. As one wag noted, “I did Nazi that coming.”

Against Public Health Advice

And Democrat-run states are determined to continue this way, despite advice from the CDC that there is now no reason to treat the vaccinated and unvaccinated differently.

How else to understand the education department’s stance other than that those teachers who refuse the vaccine represent a challenge to authority?

At this point, the vaccine mandate on teachers has nothing to do with the vaccine and everything to do with ensuring that classroom teachers are willing to fall into line and to do what they are told, how they are told.

After all, if they’ll challenge the vaccine, they’ll challenge the curriculum. Therefore they must go.

If I’m wrong, and I may well be, how else do you explain sacking 2,000 experienced teachers in the middle of a teacher shortage for refusing to get a vaccine that stops infection or transmission of what is, for the overwhelming percentage of the population and for almost 100 per cent of young people, a mild flu?

IRS Boss to New Hires: Get Their Money

IRS Boss to New Hires: Get Their Money

The criminal Biden regime has in recent weeks stated its new and improved Internal Revenue Service will only perform additional audits on citizens earning greater than $400,000 annually. However, the Service’s disgraced director, Charles P. Rettig, told new hires at the “Dallas Tax Assistance Center” that employees working for “my revamped IRS” would in 2023 collect “inarticulable” tax revenue from the old and the young, the rich and the poor, and the healthy and the indigent.

On Tuesday, September 20, Rettig visited an orientation class of 45 new employees whose applications had been approved the evening the Senate passed the cabal’s unconstitutional Health, Tax, and Climate Bill, which bestowed on the IRS $80bn and the ability to hire 87,000 tax enforcement agents.

It’s unclear how many of the 45 will be pencil pushers and how many will become members of the IRS’s gestapo police force, the armed Criminal Investigation Unit, but Rettig’s message to all was as ominous as it was universal and meticulously clear: “Show me the money.”

That brief quote should not be interpreted as comedy. A Service whistleblower privy to the class told Real Raw News that Rettig thrice parroted the phrase from the film Jerry Maguire. In it, the eponymous character, a sports agent portrayed by Tom Cruise, shouts “show me the money” at his clients. Although Rettig did not shout, his repetitive use of the phrase should alarm all hard-working, taxpaying citizens. Rettig, our source said, spoke coolly and calmly when telling the class that the IRS had a moral and financial impetus—and the right—to scrutinize, dissect, and analyze every American tax return.

“Show me the money. Get their money, our money” Rettig said.

“Under my guidance, the Internal Revenue Service will collect unprecedent federal tax revenue in coming years,” Rettig went on. “Your responsibility is getting what we’re owed. Some of you will fulfill this role from an office, others from the street. You will hear sob stories; people will beg, they will plead. Yours is not a sympathetic ear. You may have to audit your mother who’s on a fixed income and failed to report a winning scratch off ticket.”

Rettig also suggested all Americans are tax cheats: “Some of you sitting here have probably taken a deduction or five you weren’t entitled to.  Maybe you logged a vacation as a business expense. They all do it, but it stops now.”

When a new hire raised his hand to ask a question and wanted to know what the IRS plans to do about illegal immigrants that get paid under the table and, therefore, file no tax returns, Rettig shamed him for using the word ‘illegal,’ calling it pejorative hate speech, and said the IRS would not at this time chase down “undocumented residents.”

“Rettig didn’t talk specific brackets,” our source said. “But he definitely wanted it ingrained in their heads that his word is law, and what he says goes. Right now, these new hire classes are taking place in cities across the country.”

The website is undergoing modifications and formatting that may cause it to temporarily render wonkily. As many know, when RRN launched two years ago, we had an AdSense account that allowed us to earn revenue through ad serving. When Google began cancelling sites that challenged the 2020 election results, RRN was caught in the mix and canceled. After that, we turned to our loyal readers to help us stay afloat; many generous persons gave donations, large and small, and for that we are thankful. We have always been in search of other advertisers to work with, but for conservative sites, they are few and far between. We may have found one. We don’t know how it will turn out. If the ads work and are profitable, we will naturally stop soliciting donations. In the meantime, we certainly appreciate those who continue supporting us. The Left’s Domestic Terrorism Double Standard

While Democrats label Republicans as “domestic terrorists” for supporting Trump and claim that non-politically correct statements amount to violence, they turn a blind eye to actual violent terrorism by pro-choice group Jane’s Revenge firebombing pregnancy crisis centres.

The Left’s domestic terrorism double standard is another bleedingly obvious example of “rules for thee, and not for me.”

Want proof? Look at four years of leftists inciting their side of politics to violently overthrow the Trump presidency, then compare that with the overblown January 6 narrative.

None of the Left’s most vocal “insurrectionists” have been held without due process, called before show trials, or financially reprimanded.

Kathy Griffin, Madonna, Johnny Depp, and Maxine Waters, among others, still walk and work without censure or reprimand.

Demonisation

January 6 is as much a distraction as it is a trojan horse.

Although miles apart, the tragic breach of security on January 6 has been and is being manipulated in such a way as to give the event the same weight as 9/11.

Overreactions to the events of January 6, 2020, are part of the “never Trump” circus lifting its motivation straight from the Left’s twisted “Four Pillars” on its domestic terrorism agenda.

Such is the apparent aim: to mould a mindset that falsely correlates Trump with terrorism, and anyone not a Democrat, with Al Qaeda, and ISIS.

Facts and definitions be damned.

As long as there’s power to be gained by straw man emotional manipulation, the abuse of language is permissible.

Ergo, what domestic terrorism is, and isn’t, largely depends on which side of the postmodern political aisle any particular group with a track record of applying violence to serve political ends, lands.

ANTIFA gets a free ride, just don’t fly the American flag, or you might end up being raided by the FBI.

For leftists, cancelling people, burning down city centres, and destroying the property of those with an opposing viewpoint, are “fiery, but mostly peaceful protests.”

Yet, if a conservative or Christian simply affirms biological science on social media, they’re branded a terrorist, and treated as such.

None of this is an exaggeration. (See here, here, here and here.)

The left’s double standard on domestic terrorism is not the exception, it’s the rule.

This is why Seth Dillion, CEO of the Babylon Bee’s recent criticism was apt,

“If you question an election, you’re a threat to our democracy — unless you’re a Democrat. In that case, you’re protecting democracy.”

Attacks on Pregnancy Crisis Centres

The double standard on domestic terrorism is so insidious that the leftism it is bred from appears to be stopping victims of actual domestic terrorism from getting justice.

This was backed by CompassCare CEO Rev. Jim Harden on Wednesday, when he reported that law enforcement had failed to take the June 7 far-left firebombing of a CompassCare pro-life pregnancy centre seriously.

The organisation’s Buffalo, Wisconsin office faced a $500,000 USD damage bill after abortionists scrawled graffiti and destroyed a significant part of the building in June.

Far-left abortion group Jane’s Revenge — who claims they’re “fighting fascism” — took credit for the attack.

They’ve also claimed responsibility for fire-bombings in Madison, Wisconsin, as well as for vandalising another pregnancy help centre in Lynchburg, Virginia.

As of the writing of this article, there have been no arrests.

For this reason, CompassCare accused ‘pro-abortion politicians like the Biden administration’ of ‘refusing to recognize the violence, […] despite there being over 50 attacks and ongoing threats against peaceful pro-life pregnancy centres.’

“If four days are enough for federal law enforcement to arrest a perpetrator of attempted arson against a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic,’ Harden said, then ‘105 days ought to have been enough to locate arsonists causing a half-million dollars in damage to CompassCare’s pro-life medical office in Buffalo.”

The CompassCare CEO’s frustrations go back to June, when, 10 days after the far-left terrorist attack, he questioned the double standard, writing on Twitter,

‘[It] Shouldn’t be hard for pro-abortion politicians to denounce violent attacks on peaceful pro-life pregnancy centres by domestic terrorists…’

Talking with Epoch News, Harden said, he ‘believes police have suspects, but for whatever reason, are refusing to arrest them.’

He added,

‘There’s a double standard between progressive politicians like President Joe Biden calling conservatives semi-fascist, while law enforcement ignores the terrorism that’s being targeted at pro-life crisis centres.’

Harden, Epoch News said, believes the ‘Democrat Party are secretly rooting for far-left groups like Jane’s Revenge.’

The optics look as bad as Build-Back-Better Biden’s bare-knuckled discordant beat down of political opponents, in his recent so-called rally for unity.

Set this alongside comments in early September from Hawaii Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono.

In a speech opposing the Republican right-to-life bill banning abortion past 15 weeks, the Democrat senator declared her opposition to be a “literal call to arms.”

The left’s double standard on domestic terrorism is not the exception, it’s the rule.

Had Trump done as Biden has done.

Had the Trump White House weaponised law enforcement against its political opponents.

Had MAGA voters attacked Planned Parenthood clinics with the ferocity as far-left activists have done.

Had Republicans said the same thing as Hirono, Griffin, Depp, Madonna, and Waters, about Biden as they have Trump, they and their voter base would already be sitting in Gitmo.

Buyer beware: The “rules for thee, and not for me” domestic terrorism double standard could be a death blow to the United States, driven home by the dark agenda of “death to America” Democrats.

COVID Update: Ivermectin Works

Nation First looks at a new study on Ivermectin showing 92% less chance of COVID-19 mortality.

The establishment tried its best to discourage the use of Ivermectin with COVID-19.

The media openly ridiculed those who pointed out real-world evidence showed the drug could protect against COVID-19.

They largely overlooked the fact that a leading Australian university researcher had already found evidence Ivermectin was effective against COVID-19.

(Interestingly, the last we heard about that ongoing research was half a year ago.)

Propaganda Campaign

A massive misinformation campaign was launched labelling the drug a ‘horse de-wormer’ and falsely stating it to be unfit for human use.

Every public figure from Elon Musk to former US President Donald J. Trump was demonised for advocating the use of Ivermectin, or for actually using it like Joe Rogan did.

In Australia, the medical establishment even banned its use in preventing and treating COVID.

(This was something I, sadly unsuccessfully, campaigned against when I was an Australian Member of Parliament, leading a massive phone-in campaign that actually jammed the Therapeutic Goods Administration switchboard.)

The medical establishment elsewhere around the world followed suit, banning the drug.

Some brave doctors who persisted with using Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID were even fired.

And now, as it turns out, Ivermectin did work.

Breaking News

A new authoritative study conducted by Brazilian scientist Dr Flavio A. Cadegiani provides definitive proof of Ivermectin’s effectiveness against COVID-19.

In his research, he observed that people who used the drug regularly every 15 days for 6 to 8 weeks had a 92 per cent reduced risk of mortality compared to non-users.

Compare that to the mRNA ‘vaccines’ that were practically forced upon people, which offered a far lower and diminishing rate of protection.

If anything, the mRNA-based ‘vaccines’ may have even made people more vulnerable to newer COVID-19 variants.

And, let’s not ignore the whole host of nasty long-term side effects — including sudden death — that came with these ‘vaccines’.

Lost Opportunity

It should be noted that Dr Flavio wasn’t the first to bring to light the effectiveness of Ivermectin.

Back in 2021, many prominent researchers were censored or intimidated into silence about the drug’s effectiveness against COVID-19.

Later on, Dr Harvey Risch, a prominent epidemiologist from Yale, would testify before the US Congress that had the drug been approved for use, it could have potentially saved thousands of lives.

The reason for the hostility that the ‘elite’ showed against what was already a ready solution for COVID-19 was two-fold:

  1. The patent for Ivermectin had expired, meaning that, unlike the new vaccines, there was little profit to be made from the mass use of the drug.
  2. To push the mRNA jabs on the public. For what malign reasons, one can only speculate. My best guess is to further accelerate depopulation as it has been proven that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are actually harming global fertility rates.

Whatever the reasons, if Ivermectin had not been stymied, hundreds of thousands of deaths could have been easily avoided.

It is interesting to note the stark contrast in terms of COVID-19 impact on countries that disallowed the drugs versus those that endorsed it.

Take the example of Mexico, which (at the time of writing) has 53,751 inflection COVID cases per million and 2,508 COVID deaths per million.

The country allowed the off-label use of Ivermectin early during the pandemic, rather than listening to the ‘experts’ in the neighbouring USA, which currently has 291,242 cases per million and 3,222 deaths per million.

The real-world data — and now empirical studies — shows Ivermectin works.

Questions will now need to be answered by those who went out of their way to stop its use.

Newsom Quotes Jesus to Advertise Abortion in Pro-Life States

Newsom Quotes Jesus to Advertise Abortion in Pro-Life States

Editor’s Note: Joshua Arnold writes in The Washington Stand on a pro-choice governor’s callous misuse of Scripture to advertise access to abortion. Read the original article here.

California Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday cited the words of Jesus from Mark 12:31 in support of abortion, “Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these.” The billboard campaign advertises California abortion in seven pro-life states — Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas.

The advertisements are paid for by Newsom’s reelection campaign, and Newsom tweeted the ads at the respective governors of those states from his personal account, presumably because he understands that the campaign is nothing but a political gimmick unworthy to be funded by California’s overburdened taxpayers.

If Newsom was aiming to cause a reaction, he succeeded. While the billboard campaign itself is unremarkable political grandstanding, invoking the words of Jesus to defend abortion provokes a refutation. Newsom understands that most of abortion’s fiercest critics are Christians. So he chooses to promote abortion in the words of the very same Son of God who “Morning Joe” Scarborough insisted on September 9 “never once mentioned” abortion.

Appropriate Exegesis

To rightly understand and apply Mark 12:31, the preceding context is critical:

And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.

(Mark 12:28-31, with the portion cited in Newsom’s billboard emphasised)

These verses establish that the command to love our neighbour is actually the second-most important commandment, after the command to love God. In a parallel passage (Matthew 22:36-40), Matthew records that Jesus adds that the second commandment is “like” the first. In other words, these two commandments are inseparable, with the second commandment flowing naturally out of the first.

Jesus also states in Matthew that “all the Law and the Prophets” depend on these two commandments. In other words, the rest of the Old Testament is God’s commentary on what these commands mean. Perhaps Newsom and his staff didn’t intend to misapply the verse, but it’s easy to do when taken out of context.

What does it mean to love God and love our neighbour? The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5) are a good place to start. The first four commandments tell how we ought to behave towards God, while the last six commandments tell how we ought to behave towards our neighbour. Most of the laws God gives in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy reasonably proceed from these principles. Most of the prophets’ moral condemnations have to do with the people violating these commandments.

The commandment most relevant to the issue of abortion is the sixth commandment, “you shall not murder.” Surely this is an essential part of loving our neighbour. I’m not begging the question; both sides base their position on the principles of this commandment.

Human Dignity

The pro-abortion position might argue that killing another person is wrong because people are made in the image of God (Genesis 9:6). Therefore, they have inherent worth and dignity. This dignity involves a certain personal, bodily autonomy that makes it wrong for a person (or entity, like the government) to do anything to another person’s body (Exodus 22:26-27, Leviticus 24:19-20) or tell them what to do to their body. They argue that a woman’s right to bodily autonomy extends to characteristics such as pregnancy, and that others may not interfere with her decision.

The pro-life position agrees that killing is wrong because people are made in God’s image and possess inherent worth and dignity. They argue that an unborn child therefore possesses dignity and is made in the image of God. On that basis, killing an unborn child is wrong. They deny that a woman’s bodily autonomy is infringed by fulfilling its natural function of bearing offspring and carrying them to term. A pregnancy is not an impersonal inconvenience that has been forcibly imposed on a woman against her will (rape excepted, but that’s another can of worms); it is a new, distinct human being, whom God has created in His own image and in that of his parents.

It should be clear why Christians (at least, those who believe in the primacy and inerrancy of Scripture) have historically found the latter interpretation a more direct and plausible application of the principles of God’s law to the question of abortion.

Genuine Love

If further evidence is needed, let’s approach the question from another angle. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). In what way has God loved the world? By giving his Son for it. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). In what way did Jesus show His love for His bride? By giving His life for her. Love gives what is good; it does not take. It only withholds what is bad. Even evil people “know how to give good gifts to your children” (Luke 11:13) because of their natural love for their offspring.

What love is there in the hideous cruelty of abortion? An unborn child is deprived of life. He is poisoned or ripped to pieces. Every sunset, every smile, every meal, every birthday, every friendship, every tender moment, every ounce of affection that he would have enjoyed has been prematurely cut off. All because his life is inconvenient for those who would spend their lives pleasing themselves. Is this the love a mother owes her child? Most women understand that it isn’t. They experience deep regret for having ended their unborn child’s life. What compassion do they receive from a society that insists they did nothing wrong?

Many women are pressured into abortion. Where is the care shown by a man in a white coat who counsels her to end life, instead of endeavouring to preserve it? Where is the love from her family or the child’s father in forcing such an awful decision upon her? Where is the tender regard for her feelings, or for her child? Where is the desire to sacrifice for her, bearing with her through the hard years ahead?

What love is there in the hideous cruelty of abortion? This is a question for the conscience. Abortion’s apologists may distract the conscience with shallow platitudes, but they cannot assuage the guilt. Nor can they justify ending the life of an unborn child on the grounds of human dignity and bodily autonomy. Nor can they twist the words of Jesus to serve their evil cause. You will find more love for women with unplanned pregnancies in a single pregnancy resource centre, which the Left calls a “false clinic,” than in every abortion mill in America.

On this, the prophets are not silent, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21). Woe to those who call cruelty love and love cruelty.
