Western leaders have “misplaced optimism” in their ability to defeat Russia in Ukraine and oust Vladimir Putin from power, a German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) told Breitbart London.
In an exclusive interview, Dr Gunnar Beck, MEP for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, said that there is a lack of calls for peace in Ukraine in Europe and America because politicians have made the miscalculation that Ukraine can prevail and that the Russian people will turn against Vladimir Putin.
“There is a lot of triumphalism right now, talk of Russia being pushed back to its pre-conflict borders and I think that’s misplaced triumphalism. What we need in Ukraine, above all, is a genuine compromise peace as soon as possible,” Dr Beck told Breitbart London.
“I don’t have a crystal ball, but my sense is that it is a miscalculation and if it is, I rather doubt that the Russian population will cease to support President Putin if the conflict is increasingly perceived there in terms of not just a conflict with Ukraine but with the whole of the West.”

The German MEP claimed that while the main focus among the legacy media, and indeed among the political class in the West, has been on the losses suffered by Russia, “Ukraine’s losses in manpower and equipment are much larger than Russia’s and Ukraine can ill afford such loss of life.”
“We’ve seen the exodus of millions and millions of Ukrainians, many of whom will never come back, large loss of life among Ukrainian men, widespread destruction. The country will be ruined if the conflict continues much longer, so in my view, peace is the absolute priority and of course I would like to see the German government do more in this regard, rather than simply adopt a very inflexible line in relation to Russia.”
The German politician said that Western leaders should be seeking a compromise that leaves “Ukraine intact” but also grants some concessions to the Russians so that Putin can actually agree to such a deal.

Dr Beck went on to predict that there will be growing “dissatisfaction” among the peoples of the European Union as the conflict continues the wreak havoc on their economies, and that there will likely be increased protests against the continuation of the war, with his country in particular perhaps facing the brunt of the damage due to its over-reliance on Russian energy.
“I don’t think that Europeans in Central and Western Europe are really prepared for the kind of economic and possibly further sacrifices their own governments appear to be willing to accept,” he said.
It remains to be seen if such sentiment among the public will do anything to sway leaders to the cause of peace. Indeed, in September the German Foreign Affairs Minister, Annalena Baerbock, said that her government would be willing to continue to subsidise and support the Ukrainian war effort for years, no matter whether the voters in Germany approve or not.
“We stand with Ukraine as long as they need us,” the Green Party politician said, adding that this pledge comes “no matter what my German voter thinks.”

Recently mobilised Russian reservists are dying “in large numbers” in Ukraine, according to Britain’s Ministry of Defence (MoD).
In its Friday update on the course of the war in Ukraine, the British government claimed that the deployment of reservists following President Vladimir Putin’s “partial mobilisation” of hundreds of thousands of men with military experience has “often” been “characterised by confusion over eligibility for service, inadequate training and personal equipment, and commitment to highly attritional combat missions.”
The MoD suggested that, in particular, reservists had “highly likely experienced particularly heavy casualties after being committed to dig ambitious trench systems while under artillery fire around the Luhansk Oblast town of Svatove,” referring to a region of the Donbas that the Russians had brought almost entirely under their control but where they are now under pressure.

The British also suggested that swathes of reservists had been lost in forlorn hope-style attacks, as Moscow attempts to regain some form of momentum in the conflict.
“In Donetsk Oblast, reservists have been killed in large numbers in frontal assaults into well-established Ukrainian defensive zones around the town of Bakhmut,” the British claimed, referring to the eastern town which has been a focus of Russia’s continued offensive operations at a time when they have had to conduct large-scale withdrawals elsewhere in the country, particularly in the regions of Kharkiv (Kharkov) and Kherson.
“The Kremlin will likely be concerned that an increasing number of reservists’ families are prepared to risk arrest by protesting against the conditions their relatives are serving under,” the MoD suggested.

In terms of the reservists’ battlefield qualities, the British alleged there were “numerous examples” indicating that they are “highly likely not having their medical status adequately reviewed and many are being compelled to serve with serious, chronic health conditions.”
Moscow has appeared to concede that there have been some issues with the partial mobilisation, with Valentina Matviyenko, who chairs the country’s Federation Council (Senate), warning governors that “[i]ncorrect cases of mobilisation… are provoking fierce reactions in society, and rightly so” in September.
“Some [officials] are assuming that handing in their report (to their superiors) quickly is more important than correctly fulfilling this important mission,” she said.
“This is unacceptable… Make sure that partial mobilisation is carried out in full and complete compliance with the criteria. And without a single mistake!”
Her intervention followed news that, among other blunders, officials had called up a 63-year-old diabetic and sent him to a training camp, according to an AFP report.
President Putin, for his part, met with military mothers this month, telling them that the partial mobilisation had been necessary to face “the war machine of the collective West” and that their sons are “heroes”, according to Russian state media.

In this clip you can see the Russian service men surrendering and been made prisoner and then the same men in the same location laying dead on the spot.
The names of perpetrators of the brutal execution of Russian POWs became known as the killers did not even hide their faces, their names became known very quickly.
The perpetrators, allegedly responsible for the murder, are border guards Artur Bortnichuk and Nazar Mikhailovsky, graduates of the Ministry of Internal Affairs University in Kharkov. The wounded “Andrukha” most likely is Andrey Sokol.
It is worth noting these are not Nazis from the Azov battalion or the Right Sector, but ordinary AFU soldiers, who absolutely inhumanly and criminally gathered the prisoners and shot them point blank right on the spot.

Yes, the RF has relinquished its hold over the Kherson region in its current form. However, the RF expects to rectify this situation in the not-too-distant future. The Kherson region was problematic from a logistical/supply point of view. The span of the Dnieper River is massive as the shore line is not visible from bank to bank. The Ukrofascists continue striking the Kakhovskaya Dam using American howitzers. Had they breached the dam it would have flooded the lower reaches isolating our troops, even though the RF had established fortified strongholds it could have become problematic. The dam is roughly 60km east of the city of Kherson it supplies essential water to Crimea and the Zaporoznoye Nuclear Power Station.
One should not forget the hydroelectric power station situated on the dam wall. The wall has been weakened by the Ukrofascists and will need repair. The other problematic issue is related to the locals giving away RF positions to the Ukros. The RF relocated all the Russian populace that were interested in leaving. The ones that chose to stay are now being persecuted by the Ukrofascists.
Still the RF continues to monitor the Ukrofascist movements, each time they move we launch many Ukros and their mercs continue to perish. Our military personnel Russian civilians are essentially out of the area making our target practice much easier, there will be less collateral damage.
Winter has arrived and the trees have lost most of their leaves. The RF finds it amusing the NATO puppet masters have dragged into Ukraine all of the discarded useless equipment from around the globe including open top hummers which aren’t particularly well suited to winter conditions, but we don’t mind. Recently we took some captives, these guys never fired a bullet. After we’d taken them captive, they were asked why they never fired a shot. It turns out the Americans provided firearms to the Ukrofascists used in Afghanistan. The grease used in these firearms froze in the subzero temperatures rendering the rifles all but useless, thank you America.
A batch of 18 bushmasters have been delivered to the Ukros and we find they burn particularly well, when hit under the front left tyre. Five minutes and the thing’s-a-smokin. They appear to handle light arms well, a good ride, great aircon comfortable seating other than that they bog down fast and deep often we find them abandoned they are useless against any larger shells.
The Chechens have been using them for some time no and would like to thank the Australian Prime Minister “Lebanesee” for the transport. Harsh on the juice they are great on the asphalt they must we can only assume they are used in Australia for grocery shopping.
The RF elite force “Wagner” had a traitor who abandoned his team and crossed over to the Ukrofascists. It seems he had Ukrainian family connections and apart from this he was mouthing off against his former RF comrades. In response he was caught in Kiev (in the middle of enemy territory) and had his head caved in with a mallet, which was filmed and is out there in cyberspace. Perhaps it was meant as a friendly reminder to others whom may be considering a similar move. The reach of the RF goes deeper than most many think.
The RF has started using advanced sniper rifles and once tuned they are very effective. We have our lads running amok in western Ukraine sabotaging all manner of things. The RF has gathered a fighting contingent significantly larger than anything Jewlensky can muster. The numbers are stacked against them. The RF is manufacturing lancets around the clock at a cost of $2000USD. They are exceptionally useful for terminating NATO heavy artillery, costing millions. They have been boosted to a 12-hour flight time allowing them to penetrate deep into enemy territory.
The Ukros continue to dig day and night along the Ukrainian Belarus border, building walls and trenches, digging up roads and building fortifications. It would appear they are worried that Belarus may strike. Kiev is almost entirely under a black out.
The RF has now introduced the death sentence for traitors and mercs fighting against the RF. If caught they will go to trial before sentencing under law active in the DNR/LNR. The RF continues to track down and neutralize mercs. Often we use their radio communications to identify their locations. Romania is overflowing with US mercs. Our intel informs that there are approximately 12,000 mercs. Should they cross over into the Ukraine then happy days – the Chechen’s are all too eager to catch up.
The American bioweapons labs exposed by the RF have largely been relocated to the pre-Baltic states, Hungary and Poland. It seems some of the pre-Baltic states want the bioweapons returned to Germany but the wannabe baby Hitler Scholtz is resisting. The Ukrainians are now starting to train the children 8 years of age and older in basic military skills. Jewlensky has now banned the Russian language entirely throughout the Ukraine, outlawed the opposition party, taken over all Ukro media and has given total control of media to Microsoft. So much for American democracy.

This is a great example of two dangerous dynamics. First, the intellectual dishonesty that is needed to believe that Russia would attack Poland. Second, the insufferable immediate response from U.S. and international media stenographers lusting for war, and the danger they represent.
After the media initially proclaimed a “pentagon spokesperson” reported that Russia fired two missiles into Poland, and then ran with that narrative with such ferocity that Polish President Duda requested an article-4 convention in preparation for a NATO war,… 24 hours later the NATO alliance says ‘whoops‘ it wasn’t a Russian missile, it was a Ukraine missile that landed in Poland.
(Politico) NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg chaired an emergency meeting of alliance ambassadors on Wednesday in Brussels to discuss the incident.
After the session, he said information so far suggests the missile that landed in Poland came from Ukrainian air defenses fighting off a massive Russian attack on Tuesday that saw the country pummelled by dozens of missiles that caused blackouts across Ukraine.
“We have no indication that this was the result of a deliberate attack,” he said. “And we have no indication that Russia is preparing offensive military actions against NATO. Our preliminary analysis suggests that the incident was likely caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile fired to defend Ukrainian territory against Russian cruise missile attacks.”
Duda said the explosion that killed two people in the village of Przewodów, about six kilometers from the Ukrainian border, was likely caused by the missile’s propellant, saying it was probably an S-300 anti-aircraft rocket produced in Soviet times.
“There is also no evidence that it was fired by the Russian side,” he said, calling it “an unfortunate incident.”
Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden said it was “unlikely in the lines of the trajectory that it was fired from Russia, but we’ll see.” (read more)
Now let’s get beyond the nonsense and talk about the reality of the situation.
We all know the U.S. State Department, not Ukraine or Zelenskyy, is in control of ground military operations in Ukraine. As a result of that reality, the intellectually honest observer admits to themselves the CIA is therefore the tip of the spear in the country.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today stomping his little feet and saying no, no way it was Ukraine, only highlights the reality of World War Reddit, where Zelenskyy is nothing more than a casual front man -in Hollywood garb- for the CIA/DoS mission. Puppet Zelenskyy has no idea who, what, where and why strategic U.S. military forces and contractors are operating in his country. Zelenskyy’s Ukraine function is to be the Bob Geldorf face in the Ukraine funding and money laundering operation. Nothing more.
So, we have a Ukraine missile fired now supposedly fired “errantly” in a westward direction into Poland, while trying to intercept a Russian missile fired from the east. Um, well, yeah, that sounds like, :::cough::: bullshit :::cough::: but so be it. As the kids say, “whatevs.”
CIA Director Bill Burns also just happened to be in Ukraine at the time of the “errant” missile firing. What timing…. And all of this comes on the heels of increased public awareness that the FTX cryptocurrency exchange was coordinating the
movement of laundering of U.S. taxpayer funds from Ukraine into DC pockets via campaign contributions. Wow, more coincidences.
The Occam’s Razor of the situation would indicate that our U.S. proxy war against Russia in Ukraine is entering that dark and energy dependent time of the year, ie winter, and Russia is not being defeated in their securing of the pro-Russia eastern Ukraine region. So, some knuckleheads in the DoS office of plausible deniability, in coordination with some knuckleheads in the CIA office of plausible deniability, decided to try and pull in some more NATO elements with operation “errant missile into Ukraine that we will blame on Putin.”
Brilliant plan guys… except for the whole potential for NATO nuclear war part.
Luckily for the normies in Ukraine, they avoided the downstream consequence, likely operation vaporization, after reasonable people -few though they may be- said, it might not be a good idea for the whole let’s go to war with Russia in winter thing.
Yep, unfortunately that’s the reality of our current state dept geopolitical outlook, in combination with the ideological thirty-somethings that are running out of Hollywood actors to show up and fundraise.

Rockets fly in all directions
Today, November 15, after a long break, “retaliation strikes” are being again applied to the territory of Ukraine . It is still unknown what exactly objects were hit, but explosions were heard in a number of areas, including in the west of the country.
Perhaps the “retribution strikes” are caused by today’sPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the G20 summit in Indonesia. He repeatedly allowed himself to call the Russians “Rashists” and spoke impartially about the possibility of holding negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
It is authentically known that strikes were inflicted on the central regions of Kyiv – most likely, infrastructure facilities were again hit. The authorities confirmed the fact itself, but they are still silent about how it happened that the air defense again did not work as it should.
The Russian forces “launched 85 missile strikes at Ukraine,” Zelensky said in an emergency address on Tuesday evening. His office called the situation in the wake of the attack “critical,” adding that most strikes targeted facilities in the center and north of Ukraine.
The situation in Kiev is particularly hard, according to the deputy head of the presidential administration, Kirill Timoshenko. The Ukrainian energy providers had resorted to emergency power cuts to avoid energy system failures, he added.
According to the local authorities, half of Kiev residents and up to 80% of people living in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv were left without electricity in the wake of the strikes.
Up to nine Ukrainian regions were targeted in the attack, according to the authorities.
Ukraine’s neighbor Moldova was also affected by the strike. Disruptions at the Ukrainian power plants led to a power-line disconnection in Moldova, causing “massive power outages across the country,” the nation’s deputy prime minister Andrei Spinu said on Telegram.
At least one person died in the attack in Kiev as a missile shot down by the Ukrainian air defense systems fell on a residential building in the capital, local emergency services confirmed. The Ukrainian Air Force spokesman said that a total of 100 X-101 and X-555 cruise missiles were launched at Ukraine.
Zelensky warned that further attacks could follow and called on people to stay in shelters.
Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushenko called the missile attack the “most massive shelling of [Ukraine’s] energy system since the beginning of the war.” He also confirmed that both Ukraine and “some of our neighbors” were affected.
Moscow has so far not commented on the development.
Emergency power outages continue in all regions of the country. Zelensky claimed that Russia fired 90 missiles at the territory of Ukraine, as a result of which the country’s energy system was hit. According to the deputy head of the office, Kirill Tymoshenko, more than 90 missiles were fired at Ukraine, while Ukrainian air defense allegedly shot down 70 of them. In total, 15 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged.
More than 7 million consumers were left without electricity, this is about 20 million people, said Deputy head of the presidential office Kirill Tymoshenko said.
Deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Tymoshenko said that most of the strikes were recorded in the center and in the north of the country. He called the situation with Kiev’s energy supply very difficult.
By the beginning of November, 40% of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine had already been damaged.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Glushchenko, said that on November 15th, the country had experienced the largest blow to the energy system since the beginning of the Russian special operation.
“This attack may affect not only the energy system of Ukraine, but also the energy systems of some of our neighbors. Strikes are taking place across the entire energy sector of Ukraine: both on generation facilities and on the electricity transmission system,” Glushchenko claimed.
Electricity supplies were disrupted in several districts of Moldova, in particular, in Chisinau, and the Transnistrian region. The Moldovan authorities explained that the reason was the automatic shutdown of the transmission line, through which the country receives energy from Romania.
Ukraine has suspended the pumping of oil through the Druzhba pipeline in the direction of Hungary due to a drop in voltage, the official representative of Transneft Igor Demin said. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban convened the Security Council on the evening of November 15. Before the meeting of the Hungarian Security Council, Hungarian Defense Minister Krysztof Szalai-Bobrownicki held telephone talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
A meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has been urgently launched in Poland, after two missiles hit the territory of Poland amid the attacks in Ukraine.
Earlier on November 15, Polish Radio ZET reported that two rockets fell in the village of Przevodow in the Lublin district, which is located 8 km from the border with Ukraine. The Polish Fire Service clarified that the explosions occurred at a grain dryer, resulting in the death of two people, stressing that the causes of the incident are still unknown.
State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said that the United States is in close contact with the Polish authorities to establish all the details of the explosion that occurred near the borders with Ukraine.
Poland will strengthen air space monitoring together with its allies, Morawiecki said.
Poland has put all services, including special ones, on high alert, he added.
According to the photos from the area, the territory of Poland was likely hit by Ukrainian S300 air defence missiles. However, Warsaw is likely to blame Russia.
The Russian Defense Ministry called the Polish media reports about the fall of two Russian missiles on the territory of the country a “deliberate provocation”. The ministry added that they there were no strikes near the Ukrainian-Polish border, and the debris depicted in the photos in the Polish media is not related to Russian weapons.
