WATCH – Ron DeSantis Speaks at Turning Point USA ‘Unite and Win’ Rally

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will be delivering a rousing speech at the Turning Point USA “Unite and Win” rally in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday.

Headlined by DeSantis, the rally will be attended by Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and former President Donald Trump.

“DeSantis headlining a series of rallies outside of his home estate is yet another signal that he is seeking to further boost his national profile ahead of a presidential run in 2024. The governor is widely seen as Trump’s biggest possible challenger for the GOP nomination in 2024,” Newsweek noted.

Pinal County Election Debacle Shows Election Officials Have Much to Learn Before November

Pinal County Election Debacle Shows Election Officials Have Much to Learn Before November

Pinal County, Arizona, election officials have a lot to learn before November.

In July, nearly 63,000 incorrect ballots were sent out to voters missing local municipal races due to “human error.”

On Tuesday, about 25 percent of the county’s 95 precincts ran out of ballots or reported they were running low, with local anecdotal reports suggesting many of the shortages affected Republican ballots. Per Gina Swoboda, Executive Director at the Voter Reference Foundation, one polling location ran out of ballots within half an hour. Blame it on human error, again, as elections officials significantly undercounted the number of voters coming to the polls.

“What happened on Tuesday was historic Republican turnout in a primary, but you still shouldn’t have run out of ballots within a couple of hours,” Swoboda said.

According to Swoboda, Pinal County election officials should’ve known more Republicans would be coming to the polls on Election Day because Republicans were not sending in their mail ballots for early voting, meaning they were intending to vote in person.

“It was clear to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to what’s happening in Arizona is that Republicans were going to vote in person on Election Day,” Swoboda said.

Pinal County’s ballot estimates were based on turnout from previous election cycles and were completely surpassed on Tuesday, with surges of GOP voters coming to the polls in person.

“The best practice is to have the number of ballots for the number of registered voters plus 10 percent,” Swoboda said — a strategy election officials failed to implement.

Due to the ballot shortages, voters experienced long lines and wait times. Some were turned away and told to come back after more ballots were printed. According to County Attorney Kent Volkmer, “up to 750 people were affected” by the delays. Volkmer doesn’t know how many people left polling locations without casting votes.

“Without a doubt, voters were disenfranchised in Pinal County,” Swoboda said. “If you’re going to promote vote by mail, then election administrators must watch early ballot returns.”

Another complication Tuesday was that the county had access to only two ballot-on-demand printers that printed only one ballot every three minutes, in the city of Coolidge. This led to further delays as different polling locations in need of ballots were 45 minutes away. Even after couriers brought newly printed ballots to different polling locations, some reported that they were sent the wrong ballots for their precinct.

In the aftermath of such a botched primary, Pinal County Elections Director David Frisk was fired Thursday. He was replaced by Pinal County Recorder Virginia Ross. The Pinal County Board of Supervisors chairman told AZ Central “We are looking at restructuring the way we do our Elections Department.”

While Pinal County had the most trouble on Tuesday, Pima County also dealt with ballot shortages as one polling location ran out of paper ballots. Pima County Communications Director Mark Evans blamed it on a worldwide paper shortage, while also admitting some officials underestimated the number of voters coming to the polls. In Maricopa County, election officials faced controversy over voters’ pens smearing ballots. However, officials insisted no one’s vote was lost as officials ran the ballots through the tabulation machines multiple times for them to process.

Arizona isn’t the only state in the country dealing with serious election woes, made worse by vote-by-mail. In Broward County, Florida, more than a thousand voters have reportedly received the wrong ballots.

Trump slate sweeps Top Arizona Primary Races

Trump slate sweeps Top Arizona Primary Races

Kari Lake wins Arizona GOP governor primary and is expected to face off against Katie Hobbs, who is currently Arizona’s Secretary of State

The Arizona GOP governor primary on Thursday evening was called for candidate Kari Lake, giving former President Donald Trump a clean sweep in the state in Tuesday night’s primaries.

She is expected to face off against Katie Hobbs, who is currently Arizona’s Secretary of State, to replace Republican Gov. Doug Ducey.

The Associated Press projected Lake as the winner with about 88.3% of the ballots counted. Lake came in with 46.8% of the vote. Lawyer Karrin Taylor Robson came in second to Lake with 44.0%.

Her victory is also a showdown between former President Trump and former Vice President Pence, the latter of whom endorsed Taylor Robson.

Lake celebrated her victory late Tuesday evening after a source told El American that she is the projected primary winner.

Lake, a former television news journalist, is known for her tough stance on the southern border.

“Kari will make her wonderful family, and the MAGA movement, very proud,” Trump said when he endorsed her.

Lake’s victory marked a perfect record for Trump-endorsed Republicans in the state’s major primary races. Venture capitalist Blake Masters claimed the party’s senatorial nomination while Mark Finchem won the secretary of state primary, and Abe Hamadeh won the attorney general primary contest.

TRENDING: BREAKING: Election Desk HQ, AP Call the Race — KARI LAKE WINS GOP PRIMARY IN ARIZONA! …Update: Kari Wins EVERY COUNTY in Arizona!

Corrupt Arizona officials stopped counting on Tuesday night after Kari Lake pulled ahead in her race.

The state officials then took most of Wednesday off and only released 5,000 more ballots by the end of the day.

Tonight they dumped several thousand more votes that put Kari Lake over the top.

Kari Lake released the message tonight.

Kari Lake Declares Victory in Arizona Republican Gubernatorial Primary

“This is more than an election – it is a beautiful movement by so many people across our beautiful state to finally put Arizona First.”
Kari Lake released the following statement:

“Though the results took longer than they should have, Arizonans who have been forgotten by the establishment just delivered a political earthquake. My opponent Katie Hobbs had one job in government, and that was to ensure an efficiently-processed election. She failed spectacularly, and yet just like every other failed establishment politician, now she wants a promotion. Arizona just sent a clear message: our state is done with failed politicians like Katie Hobbs.

Our renewed Republican Party is now coming together to fight for a brighter and more prosperous future for every Arizonan. We will stop schools from indoctrinating our children and stop government bureaucrats from shutting down our businesses and livelihoods. We will get our homeless off the streets, invest in our families, and protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Trump-Backed Kari Lake Wins Arizona’s Republican Gubernatorial Primary

Trump-Backed Kari Lake Wins Arizona’s Republican Gubernatorial Primary

Kari Lake has won the Arizona Republican gubernatorial primary, according to an Associated Press projection.

Lake’s victory on Thursday came two days after Election Day, following delays in Arizona’s ballot reporting. Although Lake initially trailed her challenger, Karrin Taylor Robson, on Election Day, Lake eventually took the lead as more ballots were processed and reported.

The Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Arizona issued a joint statement on election night that blasted Arizona’s Pinal County for its poor handling of the election and called on the county elections director to resign.

The statement said:

During Arizona’s primary elections, the RNC and Republican Party of Arizona’s poll observer program documented and reported multiple failures by Pinal County’s Elections Administrator, including 63,000 mail-in ballots delivered to the wrong voters and multiple Republican- heavy precinct locations running out of ballots. This is a comprehensive failure that disenfranchises Arizonans and exemplifies why Republican-led efforts for transparency at the ballot box are so important. Pinal County Elections Director David Frisk should resign immediately.

At the time the race was called, Lake earned roughly 47 percent of the vote, with 93 percent reported. With more than 336,000 votes, Lake had an estimated 20,000 vote lead over Robson, who earned 44 percent of the vote.

Republican candidate Matt Salmon earned nearly four percent of the vote despite dropping out weeks before the primary was held.

Lake defeated Robson despite her being backed by establishment Republican politicians like former Vice President Mike Pence and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, who cannot run again due to term limits.

Lake, a former local news anchor, won every Arizona county with the help of an endorsement by former President Donald Trump.

Lake will face Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, the Democrat nominee for governor, in the November midterm election.

Lake criticized Hobbs for her role in the 2020 presidential election in a statement released shortly after the race was officially called for her. Lake said her victory sends a message that Arizona voters are “done with failed politicians like Katie Hobbs.

Lake said:

Though the results took longer than they should have, Arizonans who have been forgotten by the establishment just delivered a political earthquake.

Lake went on to lay out her plan for Arizona, if elected governor, which includes securing the southern border, getting woke indoctrination out of children’s classrooms, and defeating the radical left Democrats.

“This is more than an election – it is a beautiful movement by so many people across our beautiful state to finally put Arizona First,” Lake said.

She continued:

Our renewed Republican Party is now coming together to fight for a brighter and more prosperous future for every Arizonan. We will stop schools from indoctrinating our children and stop government bureaucrats from shutting down our businesses and livelihoods. We will get our homeless off the streets, invest in our families, and protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods. We will put an end to the fentanyl, human trafficking, and drugs flowing across our open border. Starting tonight, we fight to defeat the radical, corrupt, incompetent Democrats and put our government back into the hands of the great people of Arizona!

Lake’s victory on Thursday marks a clean sweep for Trump-backed candidates in the Arizona GOP primary. Trump’s picks for U.S. Senate and Arizona attorney general, Blake Masters and Abe Hamadeh, both won their primaries.

Report: ‘Near Certainty’ GOP Had Record Turnout in Arizona Primaries

Report: ‘Near Certainty’ GOP Had Record Turnout in Arizona Primaries

Arizona voters appear to have set a new record in Republican primary voting turnout on Tuesday, according to a local analyst.

“With the total number of GOP votes in, combined with what is left outstanding it is a near certainty at this point that Republicans will smash turnout records for a primary,” tweeted ABC 15 journalist Garrett Archer on Wednesday night.

In looking at the gubernatorial primaries specifically, Republican votes outnumbered Democrat votes by 157,753 as of  Thursday at 8:15 p.m. EST, according to the Associated Press election results compiled by the New York Times. Thus far, 660,735 Arizonans’ ballots for Republicans have been counted, with 17 percent of the vote still out, meaning this number will grow substantially. Conversely, Democrat gubernatorial primary candidates drew 502,982, but the number will rise, considering 19 percent of the ballots have yet to be tabulated.

Republican gubernatorial candidates were headlined by former Fox 10 Phoenix anchor Kari Lake, backed by former President Donald J. Trump, and Karrin Taylor Robson. Lake leads by more than 12,000 votes. Though a winner has not been declared in the race by mainstream media outlets and publications, Dave Wasserman of the Cook Political Report noted Wednesday morning that it looks like Lake will remain in the driver’s seat to the finish and ultimately come away with the nomination.

The pair, in addition to three other GOP candidates, have already outpaced Gov. Doug Ducey’s (R-AZ) and two other GOP candidates’ combined vote total of 655,538 in 2018 by nearly 5,197 votes, with just 83 percent reporting in the 2022 primary. By contrast, Democrats have yet to eclipse their 2018 vote totals of 505,481, with 19 percent of the vote still uncounted. What is more, the vote total margin for Republicans over Democrats is already 7,696 votes higher than the 150,057 vote margin of the 2018 governor’s race primaries.

Of 2022 gubernatorial primary voters who voted for a candidate in the two major parties, 57 percent of the votes tabulated thus far were for a Republican, which is up a percentage point from 2018. After GOP candidates drew 56 percent of the vote in the primary that year, Ducey went on to a sweeping election night victory taking home 56 percent of the vote. This is promising news for GOP in November’s upcoming general election and a potential harbinger of things to come, considering the percentage of GOP primary voters translated to an identical percentage of Republican voters in the general election.

Kari Lake Pulls Ahead in Arizona, Trump-endorsed Candidates Run the Board

Kari Lake Pulls Ahead in Arizona, Trump-endorsed Candidates Run the Board

The Trump-endorsed candidates in Arizona are running the board; however, the corrupt, conniving and scheming UniParty constructs that have thoroughly infected the state election process still remain.

As it currently stands, Trump-endorsed Blake Masters appears to have easily won the GOP primary in the Senate race and will now face Mark Kelly.  The comprehensively corrupt Rusty Bowers, the Arizona state House speaker who was insistent upon retaining corruption as a political business model – and a favorite of the J6 committee in DC, has thankfully lost his bid for a state senate seat to Trump-endorsed David Farnsworth.

Additionally, Trump-endorsed Kari Lake (pictured above last night) has taken a sizable lead in Governor’s primary race over decepticon Mike Pence-endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson.

Meanwhile, Arizona voters have overwhelmingly selected Trump-endorsed Mark Finchem as their candidate for the secretary of state’s office.  Perhaps Finchem, if he succeeds in the general election, can finally fix the insufferable mess of Arizona elections.

Kari Lake’s victory, if certified, is a profound set-back for the two UniParty wings of the political club.

No doubt RNC Club Chairwoman Heavy McD (Ronna McDaniel) ate a few extra slices of red velvet cake for breakfast before throwing the coffee pot at the trembling concierge hiding behind the spa door.  For the Arizona contest, Ms Kari Lake raised about $3.8 million in mostly small dollar donations, while Ms. Taylor Robson -a billionaire club member- raised more than $18 million. The one thing Arizona voters and Heavy D would agree upon, is that Arizona rebels are revolting.

In the State of Florida, it was always Broward County that led to more than twenty years of constant eyerolls whenever an election cycle came around.  The issues with Broward County voting in the sunshine state were well documented, transparently corrupt and brutally obvious for decades.

Then newly elected Governor Ron DeSantis finally intervened, appointed state oversight, removed the corrupt Brenda Snipes (with her entire staff) as supervisor of elections, and ‘presto’ – just like that all of the Broward County issues mysteriously resolved.  In 2020 the full state reported election results by 10pm on election night.  Funny that.

The state of Arizona, specifically Maricopa and Pima counties, who seem to need days -if not weeks- to tally their votes, perhaps needing the assistance of DNC trained carrier pigeons handled by GOPe caretakers, has become the new Broward County.

Despite the intransigence of the GOP club, the insurgent MAGA victories continue….
