During an insertion of troops, a US helicopter was hovering and vulnerable. A lone Taliban fighter outside a nearby compound began shooting at the aircraft, trading fire with the helo.

The militant attempts to flee, and the circling Apache tracks him.

The Apache crew waits until the Taliban fighter is far enough away from friendly troops, then fires its’ 30mm cannon in bursts, killing the insurgent.

In the video of the incident, you can hear the pilot say, “The individual is KIA.”

Picking a fight with the US military? Not this fighter’s best plan.

Rebuilding Our Military

Since President Trump took office, the United States military has become stronger, and has received better treatment, benefits, and respect from Washington.

President Trump gave the troops a much needed pay raise this year, fought for better education, housing, and benefits for service members and their families, and rejected a proposal to cut military healthcare by $2.2 billion dollars.

President Trump has also vowed to pull our troops out of the Middle East, and has plans to put a stop to the endless wars that the establishment has kept the US in.

Trump also cleaned up the Obama Administration’s messes when it comes to military budget and military actions — or a lack thereof. Under his leadership, the military has destroyed ISIS, which Obama allowed to grow and expand throughout his presidency.

The president also ordered the killing of Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani. Trump touted the strike as one of his accomplishments, stating: “As the world’s top terrorist, Soleimani orchestrated the deaths of countless men, women and children. He directed the December assault on United States forces in Iraq and was actively planning new attacks… The United States military executed a flawless precision strike that killed Soleimani and terminated his evil reign of terror forever.”

Trump increased the military budget, especially for equipment such as helicopters, tanks, and other vehicles, many of which were not up to date. According to Forbes, prior to the upgrades, “some warfighting systems had grown so decrepit that the military services were proposing their retirement despite a lack of newer weapons with which to replace them.”

$2.2 trillion has been invested into our military since President Trump took office in 2017.
