MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — On Thursday around midnight, the Middletown Division of Police responded to the Atrium Medical Center and found a man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Police say that three people, identified as Jonathon Oatneal, Andrew Roberts, and the deceased, Joshua Oatneal, went to a home in the 2600 block of Aspen Drive to commit a burglary. During the burglary the homeowner fired his gun striking Joshua Oatneal.

Jonathon Oatneal and Andrew Roberts then transported Joshua to the Atrium Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. As a result, Jonathon Oatneal and Andrew Roberts were charged with murder and two counts of aggravated burglary.
